“I have been going there since 1973. They have had three different owners since Maria owned it, but the food has stayed the same except for the hash browns. Don't get me wrong, the home fries are very good. I always ask for their special chili. There Coffee is always the best. I miss them. I live in S.C. now, and I wish I could get my fix. “This is one of those restaurants that won't serve you a bad dish. If it's on the menu, it'll be good. Definitely try the stuffed french toast.It's not a huge space, so be prepared to wait a bit, especially for parties over 4! It's worth it though.The only frustrating thing upon return visits (which have been many) is the uncontrolled acoustic energy. There are no acoustic panels on any walls or ceiling, so the music and other voices echo around all the hard surfaces and make conversation difficult. Acoustic treatment on the ceiling (see The Breakfast Bar on 4th Street) or acoustically treated wall art would go a long way in bringing any semblance of intimacy to the place.Parking: Street parking in the neighborhood, usually spots free within a block.“

The eggs were as ordered his steak was cooked perfectly good flavor and tender. The croissant was fresh and flaky. Service was attentive, and friendly. The restaurant is decided in two the front has large windows booths and a counter. It was updated in the 80s to a 50s throwback look with pink neon and white Formica. The bar is dark with natural woods a small dance floor. In the evening it has its own entry The parking lot has space for both cars and big rig trucks. Restrooms are extremely small in the front while not huge the restrooms in the bar are less claustrophobic.“

“I come to this Denny's sometimes 4 days a week and always around the same time (2-4 am) and always order the same thing (coffee and lumberjack slam with eggs over medium white toast and upgraded pancakes to the salted caramel banana pancakes). By now as soon as I walk through the door , I am always greeted warmly by the same gentlemen (except on Saturdays when there is a lovely woman serving me) By now I never need to repeat what I'm getting because they already know. And are letting me know they'll put in my order. I love that, they are always attentive and by the time I'm out of the restroom, my coffee is waiting for me to fix up with French vanilla creamer and sugar and spoon there for me to mix in. The food is always exactly how I like and very tasty especially the hash browns .....the atmosphere is always quiet with 2 or 3 other diners. The fries had the right amount of crispness, the barbecue sauce, and the ranch dressing were some of the best I've ever had. We also got an Oreo Shake, another hit. The consistency was perfect. It's not overly thick but thick enough to easily drink with the straw even though it had small oreo chunks. We got our food in less than 10 minutes, and even though we went 30 minutes before closing time, our waiter, Anthony, encouraged us to take as much time as we needed. Anthony was an excellent waiter. He was nice, always checked up on us to see how we were doing, and if we needed anything, he made sure he took care of everything.
