Clam chowder was the bomb!
The service was fast. The view was wonderful. Food could have been better, but for the price was still very reasonable. WOULD RECCOMEND the Strawberry Daquiris.
Nothing kicks off a vacation like fresh fish tacos and a cold beer at the end of a sun-soaked pier. Atmosphere is 10/10. Food is solid, definitely fresh and flavorful - has that authentic taste to it.
Food came out quick, service was a bit brusque, but you get that sometimes with places like this, it's not the kind of place where the guy taking your order and telling you you're number 45 is going to ruin your experience.
Kids options are good too!

Avalon Seafood & Fish Market offers a nice view with plenty of seating at the end of the pier. The service is fast and self-clean up. While the $17 fish and chips may not be the most authentic, the food is considered okay, especially for the island. The breading on the fish is light and not heavily breaded. With plenty of malt vinegar and salt available, this place stands out for its good pricing on both food and beer, making it a great deal for visitors to Catalina Island. The owner, Caleb Lins, has bought and preserved the name of the original founders, the DeMers family, who started the Fish Market in 1967. This iconic spot is known by all locals and regular visitors, and Caleb is praised for his generosity and care for the island community.
