I ordered the Benedict sando- the egg intentionally over hard to not be runny and interfere with the creamy goodness of hollandaise whipped with scallion cream cheese and a tomato slice to balance. “I was here 4/6 for the first time. I came here because I saw that people commented that they had gluten-free baked goods, and I am an instant fan. The good or bad thing for me is that I live over 100 miles from here...so, I will have more reasons to vist family in Santa Maria just to make a stop here. So, what I got was the peanut butter cookie (best I've ever had with or w/o wheat). I also the super food latte w/beet root and raw cocoa...yum❣ Next time I'm adding and espresso shot to it. Ibrought home two different slices of their bread too... that I shouldn't have but tried anyway... rye w/walnuts and hard sourdough. Both tasty good. 🤩🤗🥖☕🍪”

“Great owners and wonderful staff. The location is excellent and the food incredible... They are not a regular restaurant, so check the day you are going to see what's on the menu and if they are hosting a private event. I totally recommend Fridays for the Viking Sandwich and a honey ale. They have awesome wines as well. One of the best local spots for my wife and I. Be sure to stop by when in Solvang.”

“This place is a gift. My wife and I have tried most of the tacos. Pressed pork was our favorite. I had a Burro Visitadores and it was amazing. The tortillas are hand made and delicious.

“A perfect ending to a perfect day in Santa Ynez valley. Great company, great conversation, stiff drinks (Substituted Mezcal for Tequila in our Margaritas) and stellar service. My brother and sister-in-law are strict vegetarians. When we realized their vegetarian tostada's came with Mexican rice cooked in chicken stock, our hostess Kaitlyn was personification of equanimity and professionalism. Without skipping a beat and with grace took away their plates and remade their orders . Remained attentive to our needs , no awkwardness. It is said that salsas make or break a Mexican restaurant. The salsas for me were too mild but Kaitlyn and the rest of the staff had stellar service, were very welcoming, and their spirit and warmth more than made up for the lack of fire in the salsas... Though my brother found the salsa fiery too. And the drive back as the sun set and drenched the Santa Rita hills in amber glow was a cherry on top of the already great mood thanks to. Kaitlyn and the staff at Dos Carlitos (and the stiff drinks). Thank you.”

Came here with a few friends: bartender Rick is a gem. He makes some of the best drinks I've ever had - my friend found her favorite drink, old tootsie, and she usually doesn't like bourbon. Food options may look limited but each one provides quite the bang. For example, I hate gravy, but the gravy on the meatballs was absolutely fantastic... We ordered three rounds. Cajun shrimp was also phenomenal.”

“Panino's is absolutely a MUST STOP in Santa ynez. I visited as a pitstop on a road trip and got so much more than I was expecting. The food was out of this world amazing. I got the turkey and brie on baguette (10/10), my husband got the ham and Swiss on focaccia (10/10), and my MIL got the tuna sandwich on whole wheat sourdough (10/10). She did the half and half and was completely filled! My sandwich was a GREAT portion size, so much meat and cheese and definitely worth the price! The atmosphere is amazing, with plentiful outdoor seating that is comfortable. If I am ever back through this area, panino's will be a must-stop.”

“First time for us at this restaurant. We ordered bruschetta pizza, it was quite a large size and very delicious. I ordered pasta with shrimp and mushrooms in a light tomato sauce which was very tasty and very good. My husband had A pasta dish with a variety of seafood. It was Valentine’s so the service was quite slow. For dessert I ordered a warm Apple strudel with vanilla ice cream., delicious! We are vacationing in this area and when we return we will definitely dine at this restaurant.”

“Like many fans of the movie Sideways, I was inspired to try the wines featured in the film. Alma Rosa, as any fan would know, is the former tasting room for Sanford. I ordered their wine, and it was promptly and safely shipped. The wine was amazing—truly excellent. If you’re thinking about giving them a try, I highly recommend them!”
