“I highly recommend Idle Hour winery and kitchen in Oakhurst. I found out about the winery when looking for a place to eat in the area on the Internet and I’m so glad I did. It was one of my more memorable meals. I had one of their wines, which was outstanding with a salmon dinner accompanied by a very large salad. I usually don’t have dessert, but, being gluten-free, I decided to try their flourless chocolate cake. I’ve never had one I’ve particularly liked, but I doubt that I will be able to resist that dessert the next time I go for dinner, although I will have to try their Sunday brunch next.“

“We stopped in on our way to Yosemite. Absolutely one of the best meals we had in all of California. I’m still dreaming about the beer battered artichoke hearts. We tried the peach burger and were pleasantly surprised. Totally unassuming town with some kind of genius behind the menu. What a gem.“

“While exploring North Fork , I decided to stop here for lunch. Mary was my server and she was lovely. Super attentive and helpful. I had the Chuky burger with jalapeños which was delicious! It was a perfect day for thrift shopping and a burger.Oh and the chef shared persimmons with me from her property free of charge. Thank you ladies for a wonderful lunch!“

“Breakfast was wonderful, many interesting choices. I subbed out the regular waffle with my chicken and waffles for one of their caramel pecan waffles. It was fabulous. Staff was extremely enjoyable and helpful, forgot his name but A++ service dude, you know what’s up.“
