“Great food and beautiful views“

“Loved my Reuben sandwich with Tator Tots! Hard Cider was refreshing! My husband had fish and chips. Fries were a little under done and he requested crispy. Service was excellent and the food came out in about 10 minutes. Prices were average, but the patio view of Bass Lake priceless!“

“on a 10000 mile cross country trip and 1st time in Yosemite, staying at the Sierra Sky Ranch. they recommended SGB for lunch, and it did not disappoint. our hardest task was deciding what to choose as there were so many delicious items to choose from we decided on two different burgers and shared. both were delicious and cooked perfectly. the staff, energy, vibe and music were all fantastic. I would highly recommend SGB to all for a great meal and beer.“

“I highly recommend Idle Hour winery and kitchen in Oakhurst. I found out about the winery when looking for a place to eat in the area on the Internet and I’m so glad I did. It was one of my more memorable meals. I had one of their wines, which was outstanding with a salmon dinner accompanied by a very large salad. I usually don’t have dessert, but, being gluten-free, I decided to try their flourless chocolate cake. I’ve never had one I’ve particularly liked, but I doubt that I will be able to resist that dessert the next time I go for dinner, although I will have to try their Sunday brunch next.“

Both dishes came with sides and desserts included and it looked amazing and was absolutely delicious. The price per plate, only $55., that’s a bargain these days. The atmosphere of old times mountain house was cozy and comfortable. We were seated in front of the fire place. We’ll definitely be eating there again soon.“

Recommend the hot n sour soup, veggie delight, and sweet and sour chicken dinner for two meal combo. The meat options was the well worth the price.
Dumplings were up to expectations and did not disappoint.
Karen greeted me at the entrance with a warm smile and an ice breaker entry.
Victoria was fast at service and kept up with needs.
The receptionist could use a warmer smile and better attitude the atmosphere makes a big difference.
The salad bar was full of rich flavors
The Mexican section did not cut any corners In flavor.
Overall experience excellent 10/10 with dessert making up for the atmosphere

“Today I went for breakfast. I have to admit it got super busy but the girls handled it marvelously. I ordered French toast and it was delicious. The staff is so kind and patient with the customers. I gave it a 3 stars for the atmosphere because I like it less busy. Other than that everything else was great.“
