“this place is great and normally I love everything, the Mom and Pop vibes and the old fashioned style shop. the donuts are extremely good. and even though yesterday, the lady who works the counter was frowning at me the whole time, I still recommend them. but she really needs to stop that, it made me uncomfortable. the man working with her was polite, and she was saying polite things and being polite.. just with a look on her face that made me feel like I had inconvenienced her by coming in. heck, I still recommend them, everyone can have a bad day and a surly staff can be amusing.“

“Dutch Bros is easily one of the most upbeat coffee stops in town. The crew is always energetic and genuinely friendly, which makes the drive-thru line feel shorter than it is. Drinks are super customizable and consistently tasty — especially the cold brews and Rebels. It can get pretty busy during peak hours, so expect a bit of a wait. Still, the vibe and quality make it worth swinging through.“

“I fly from Boston to Arcata to visit family, and this spot is by far my favorite place to grab fresh coffee. The staff is amazing, and everything is fresh. The coffee is so good when I'm out here, It's part of my daily routine. Out of the 20 or so stands and shops around the county, this is the go-to. Thank you for the morning coffees this past week!!! The next time I fly out, I'll be by. 😁“

“I routinely come here and they are so nice and honestly underrated. They have really good everything and they are seldom crowded while other coffee places are a 15 minute wait. They have two windows. Look for the less crowded one because some people miss this.“

“I just want to give A shout out to the Arcata Giunitoli manager and staff. They are always wonderful everyday no matter the time I stop in there. I stopped in recently on my birthday to see if they had started offering there VIP customers A free drink on there birthday. The company doesn't do the free drink on your birthday still. But the amazing manager said she'd buy my drink for my birthday. All the staff there always goes above and beyond. Keep up the great work your all appreciated.“

“If you are staying in any of the hotels nearby and want something more than the typical lobby coffee then this is your place. The staff here is friendly and inviting. The coffee and tea are better than what you'll find in the hotel lobby.“

“Jitter Bean is my go to for coffee, always hot, always taste great. They roast their beans here locally, you can smell them roasting from their Broadway location. All their Baristas are amazing and work hard, long lines roll though their drive up very smoothly. They treat me and my dog amazing and remember us each time.“

“Bayside is such a hidden gem! Their lattes are fantastic and their food is so delicious! It’s made with local and organic products whenever possible and the best part is that it leaves you feeling satisfied, full and feeling great. They’re my favorite breakfast spot in all of Humboldt but they make delicious lunches too. If you haven’t checked them out yet, you totally should!“
