“There's not a lot of good spots to eat around this town but Cocina Oaxaqueña was DELICIOUS. Got a breakfast burrito, freshly made. Food portions are great and decently priced. Staff was super nice! Service was quick. Ambiance was nice and homey. Would definitely recommend this place!”

“Best Mexican food! I love their spicy mole enchiladas but they have so many wonderful options. Everything is made fresh and you can tell it’s made with so much love. The service is always 5 stars whether we eat in the restaurant or take an order to go. Don’t pass this place up if you haven’t been there! It has become my favorite place to get food. Definitely recommend! ?Vegetarian options: They can make anything on the menu vegetarian by swapping in potato or mushrooms in exchange for the meat.”

“I love the Donut Mill. Not only do they have amazing donuts, but they also have amazing pastries and drinks! I love their croissants, especially the ham and cheese one. They have great prices and great service. Very friendly people. I love how I can drive up or go inside. 10/10 recommend!”

“This is the first time I have been to this place and I am sorry I have not been here sooner! The crepe I had was fabulous, which was the cheese, prosciutto and mushrooms, which was considered the Savory Crepe. My daughter had the Sweet Crepe,with strawberries, bananas and Nutella. Very good! Roxanne was very attentive. I love the decor in the restaurant. Very colorful and unique. They did have items to sell there. But let's talk about the food. BEST CREPE I EVER HAD!! DEFINITELY COMING BACK! And would recommend this place to all my friends.”

“Got a cup of their Honey Bee coffee and it was super tasty. Well balanced with nice sweet notes from the bee pollen. Ambiance was great. Ambient music playing in the background while I cozied up with my drink and a book on their comfy couch. There were a good amount of people hanging around but not noisy.”

They also use the highest quality milk options (A2 milk or Oat) and have a great selection of cookies, muffins, other high quality baked goods, sandwiches, salads, etc. The ambiance in the Vance lobby (no longer a hotel) is also nice and there's plenty of indoor seating for rainy days. This place makes your coffee and espresso PROPERLY, when it's ordered, so be patient if you want good things--the fast foodification of the coffee industry nearly destroyed it but places like this continue to prioritize QUALITY!”

“Omg - this place is amazing! I was staying at a hotel across the street. I've ordered from this place once, I got Chile verde and remember it was being really good. Then my next visit in town, I ordered from somewhere else and remember paying a lot for small portions. I went in here today, and ordered chili Colorado and beans. Sometimes I just get lazy and order from whoever I can just order from online. It seemed like a husband and wife who own the store. A large chili Colorado was $14 - delicious and came with home made tortillas! The beans were also delicious and $5 for a large size! My partners family is from Mexico, and this truly reminded me of a home cooked meal at my family's home. The prices were low compared to other places - yet food was tastier than other restaurants! I hope people support this store because their food is amazing!”

“I had been a customer here for years, and at one point, a regular.I returned for the first time in a while and the food was even better than I remember!Chicken mole, chipotle chicken and Super Carne asada burritos ate my go to, and will often get the quesadilla wrapped versions of the 3 aforementioned burritos.Next visit, I'm going to try the Buffalo chicken burrito.The owners are amazing people!! “If you make your way to Arcata you have got to try Arcata Scoop! Their ice cream is amazingly delicious. The inside is cute and quaint and the service is great. Our family had their chocolate, cinnamon, mint chip and honey vanilla lavender flavors. We just discovered this little gem. If you are in Arcata you really don't want to miss this place.”

“Absolutely love this place! It's small but you can tell the animals are loved and cared for immensely! The animals are also rescued and would not be able to be released into the wild. It's a great experience and the redwood sky walk is very fun!! especially with the new bear cubs you can see into their enclosure and watch them climb the trees! The bird walkthrough was put together beautifully and was an incredible experience 100% recommend!”

“We loved itWe ordered and split a few items and we were very happy with everything we tried.I ordered the Garanchas, I'm not usually one for ordering ground beef as a meat option, but everything was very well seasoned and the portion was generous, we all enjoyed them.We got two tamales, the Chicken Masa and Chuchitos. The Chicken Masa was so fluffy and moist and the Chuchitos was cooked perfectly as well, and for $3.50, you can't beat it. Then we got a plate of three papusas, one of our favorite foods. We got cheese and jalapenos, pork and cheese, and a plain bean papusa. They were cooked nice and crispy on the outside, not too doughy, not too greasy, perfect masa to filling ratio and the curtido was fresh and crisp with the perfect amount of oregano (a lot ?).We ordered some tres leches to-go, so I'm not sure how it tastes, but it looks beautiful, topped with a strawberry drizzle ?I would definitely recommend stopping in and giving it a try whether you're familiar with Latin American food or not!”

“Holy cow. I had the Korean street tacos with shrimp and I think I realized what heaven is. They were so delicious. We sat outside because it is a food truck but by no means is it fast food. I would eat these tacos for breakfast lunch and dinner. The only issue is they don't have a location in Arcata or Eureka. I WILL BE coming back. We enjoyed the tacos on a beautiful, warm but arguably windy day and we had been struggling to find a place to eat and luckily this place was open and operating.”
