“We stopped by this restaurant today, just by happenstance. It had previously been known as Martin’s. We came in about 3 o’clock in the afternoon for appetizer and beer. There was a large party of 12 people already there and being served. We were promptly seated and waited on by a very nice young man took very little time after we ordered to get our quesadilla with Carnitas that was served with guacamole, sour cream and a delicious homemade salsa, we were very happy with everything that we got and will be back again.
Kid-friendliness: There were a number of children there and they all seem to be having a great time. Not a problem.“

“Chapala is the BEST. I ordered My taco salad that was made wrong. I took It back and explained it was no problem I just Would like a new one made. As I was Waiting, the owner or head chef, unsure of his name, took care of my issue quickly and said come on over and have a seat, pulled out my chair for me with a bowl of chips and salsa. I was In no rush or upset by any means, just wanted the best taco salad in the world with no beans!! They have my upmost respect, business and recommendation.“

“While visiting MB from Fresno, we ran across this hidden gem. We had the Breakfast Burrito with Bacon, Egg, Cheese and Hash-browns. They also offer ham and chorizo. These are 100% the BEST breakfast burritos I have EVER had! Even my own made at home. They are huge and 1 would probably feed 2 people because they come with free chips and a salsa bar. This will always a “must go to” place anytime we are in SLO area.“

“Decent Mexican Food. Cali Fries could have had a bit more flavor or seasoning, but everything came out quickly, hot, and fresh.Shredded Beef Taco was "on point"!! Super flavourful & she'll was fried perfectly.The chips & salsa bar are a nice touch, and the patio was nice to enjoy the SLO weather.“

“Hands down the best Mexican food in town. Nicest people work in there. I haven’t had a bad thing from here in 5 years ever since they opened. The tacos, burritos, breakfast burritos, hot sauces, the meat counter, the list goes on and on. “This is the best authentic taco restaurant. Don't let the fact that this is a stand alone food truck deter you. Not only was the food amazing, fresh and high quality the service was fast and friendly. The portions of meat over flow the taco shells. Definitely visit worthy!
Parking: They are located in the parking lot of a strip center. That currently houses Grocery Outlet and RiteAid.“
