“This place is insane value. The sandwich ingredients are fresh and the chicken is very crispy. My second time going and it’s just as good as the first time.
If you like spicy the sauce is perfect numbing flavor. I already want to go back and can’t wait to try the other menu items.
Also if you like purple yam the Goguma latte is very creamy/rich and refreshing.
The owners are so nice and friendly- I’m surprised this place isn’t packed. Look forward to trying again soon.“

Spicy and sweet and really good size for the price. Hot was actually spicy but still so much flavor, which was nice.

The big sleeper here are the cookies… i don’t know what the flavor was but it was 10/10 warm and soft!

“Best grilled chicken. I drive from redondo just to come here. The prices are insanely reasonable. I always get the 2 chicken combo with sides or 3 chicken combo if I have guests over my house. The sides are incredible too. The rice has a corn finish to it with perfect taste, no salt needed as it’s seasoned perfectly. I’m not a fan of beans but they’re very similar to my grandmothers (they’re not fried beans). The potato salad is addicting too, it’s really my guilty pleasure and the last thing we run out off. Pops Chicken HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

“Solid chicken and sides, but the chicken is over spiced for my liking (not too hot just too many/much spices). Service is great but it can take a while to get food sometimes. I suggest take out since the atmosphere isn't great. Also the spice bomb of the chicken can upset the stomach in larger quantities.“

“After so many times of having gone to this shopping center for the other stores, I finally took a chance to come in, and I thought it was pretty good! Staff was friendly, they were really patient with me. Food came out in maybe ~7 minutes or so, so that's pretty standard. I thought it was pretty good! Was reading some of the reviews saying there's no flavor? I don't know, maybe I've become such an old man👴🏻 now, I thought it was good. Not over-the-top. Someone said they barely gave any cheese over the fries? My observation was that they meticulously layered the cheese, so that it wasn't just a giant slab on top with nothing on the bottom. I've never been to any other restaurant that goes through that level of detail to make sure the right amount of cheese is evenly distributed across the fries like that! BRAVO!👏🏻 Shoutout to the 1pm crew! You guys are awesome!

I normally go to the Pico Union one but this one has easier parking and more seating. They also have more selection but I've never gotten anything but the chicken. TOTALLY DIFFERENT GAME HERE! Went here one day for a chicken plate and the pieces had plenty of meat, hardly greasy, lightly seasoned, and overall tasted like good ol home cooking 🤤. Just came here again to try their fish and shrimp and again, it was excellent. Most fish and shrimp places drown their fish in thick bread-like batter that makes you feel sick in a few bites. Here however, the fish and shrimp are fried in a seasoned thin peppery flour mix, basically a thin batter 🤤. I don't think I can go anywhere else for fried chicken and fish. JUST BE SURE TO AIR OUT THE FOOD TO LET IT COOL DOWN WHEN YOU GET IT!! YES! ITS THAT FRESH! AND THAT GOOD!“

“I just got a bowl at the new spot by USC. Juicy chicken, nice fluffy rice, The chipotle sauces are tasty and service was fast. I'll get another bowl for sure.“

We got 2 order of the combo wings. The combo comes with 1 medium size pizza, 12 wings, and 1 liter soda of choice.

You’re able to choose 2 sauces for the wings and we got mango habanero, lemon pepper, honey garlic, and something else. For the pizza, we got bulgogi and Hawaiian.

On top of that I ordered the dumpling and rice cake soup which was pretty good. However, there were only like 6 dumplings and lots of rice cake that couldn’t be finished. Towards the end of the soup, it started getting a bit saltier as well.

The price you pay for the amount of food you get is decent. Flavors are good as well. I think the only complaint is that they drench their chicken in sauce which isn’t my preference when eating Korean fried chicken.“
