“Thai Chili Express is a hidden gem that truly delivers an authentic Thai dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a warm, cozy atmosphere that feels welcoming and relaxed. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer.
The food? Absolutely amazing. Each dish bursts with authentic Thai flavors, perfectly balanced and expertly prepared. Whether you’re craving a classic Pad Thai, a rich and creamy Green Curry, or something with a bit of a spicy kick, you can taste the care and tradition in every bite. The portions are generous, and the presentation is on point, making it a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds.
If you’re a fan of Thai cuisine or just looking to try something new, Thai Chili Express is a must-visit. Their combination of delicious food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere guarantees a dining experience you’ll want to repeat. Highly recommended! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟“

“This is one of my Thai mom’s favorite restaurants and is also a favorite for my relatives as well. While this is not close to the pinnacle of Thai food, I can admit that most of the dishes are decent. My family always gets the fried pork, thai fish cake and boat noodles. Their sausage is fine.“

“"Thai District is a culinary gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The food was absolutely amazing, bursting with authentic Thai flavors that transported us to Thailand. Scott, our server, went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. Not only did he provide impeccable service, but he also shared interesting tidbits about the area, like the length of the actual “Long Beach” in Long Beach, adding a delightful personal touch to our evening. We left feeling completely satisfied and already planning our next visit. Five stars all around for Thai District!"“

“Michelin-Level Northern Thai Street Food! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Chiang Rai is a total gem in Long Beach! Don’t let the simple exterior fool you—the inside is vibrant and quirky, and the food is some of the most authentic Northern Thai cuisine I’ve ever had.
The Khao Soi is the absolute star of the show; the curry broth is rich and complex, topped with perfectly crispy noodles. I also highly recommend the Midnight Chicken and the Sai Oua (Northern Thai Sausage) for a real taste of Chiang Rai. Everything is fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor.
It can get busy, so be prepared for a bit of a wait, but it is 100% worth it. If you’re looking for high-quality Thai food that goes way beyond the standard Pad Thai, this is the spot!“

“The food is amazing 10/10 but the outdoor patio dinning is awful. You cannot have a conversation because the sound echos so loudly and when the staff moves tables around they drag it along the tile and all of the tables have to stop and wait till they are done to be able to speak again with your table.“

“Friendly service, nice decoration, clean environment and great food!
We had the angel wings( deep fried boneless chicken wing stuffed with pork, shrimp, and chicken) as appetizer. It’s a good crunch. We also have the tom kha seafood soup, very comforting and full of ingredients and spices. the crying tiger is so juicy. And the crab fried rice can really taste the wok. We also tried the new fried pork with Chinese broccoli. For dessert we have the mango sticky rice, I like how it comes with a heart shape!
For drinks we have Thai milk tea, pink milk and fresh coconut. Overall, an authentic Thai restaurant that you should give a try!“

“First time going here. I got the Beef Drunken Noodle and the Seafood Tom Yum Soup. When I tell you both dishes had so much flavor and they give you big portions. The food was absolutely delicious and amazing. The waiters were very kind and very attentive. The place was decorated in Halloween decorations, so cute. I loved everything about this place. This will be my go to spot for Thai food from now on. I'm a very hard food critic and this place passed with flying colors. Thank you for the amazing food. I will be back.“

“Cozy Thai spot with amazing food and very warm servers. Flavors were spot on and everything was very fresh. It seems the chef experiments with new items seasonally and their current special Rice Street Supreme should actually be permanently added. Very flavorful! Chef stopped by each table personally checking if everything was okay. Very homely Thai vibe with great food and warm staff!“

“Quick and tasty? Fresh and affordable? Authentic and accommodating? This is the spot when you want a meal that fits all of those categories. Each dish has rich flavor and abundant spices without feeling heavy. I love the papaya salad, curries with tofu, and every dish pairs perfectly with the dedicated service. It’s phenomenal when the front of house and back of house work together seamlessly in a restaurant and this is certainly true for Long Beach Thai. They also have Thai market items like durian, stuffed pumpkin, and sweet treats for purchase at the counter. The servers are very good at letting you know that a dish has peanuts in it and asking if you have an allergy. They run an equally efficient dine-in experience as they do for carry out. Love to support businesses that offer consistency of this caliber. Check them out!“

“Don't let the location and exterior fool you. This place has one of the best traditional Thai dishes in north OC. I've tried several Thai restaurants all over So. Cal., and for the price to taste ratio this small hole in the wall type place is almost a hidden gem.“

“Today I went to rodeo 39 in Garden Grove with some friends and I stumbled across Kra Z Kai's. It was my second time trying Laos barbecue. This place is a hidden gem for sure. Everything was the delicious. The ribs were marinated for 24 hours. The barbecue pork and the chicken were all marinated in the same sauce. The owner told me the service was fast and this whole ambience was nice some of the best food I've had in a long time next time I'm going to Garden Grove. I will come here again.“

“They really need to update their hours, the food is awesome, but I came here on Friday at 2:25pm and the gal at the front desk said they close in 5 minutes. Their hours on google is incorrect. Very disappointing! I drove 20 minutes to get here 😕“

“I've been eating at this Thai spot for about a year. I've eaten here at least 10 times and it has hit every time. Amazing food, great service, and affordable prices.
The pad thai and panang curry are top tier. I recently tried the Bangkok sidewalk favorite (similar to gra pow at other restaurants) and it was 10/10.
This place is a must try if you are in the long beach/Lakewood area.“

“Thai food in this neighborhood have all fallen for some reason, and I thank this place for opening to pick up where they lack. I think it's great they came into a location that has very mediocre Thai restaurants around with decent ambiance but low quality food. Instead of focusing on a dine in experience, this place is all about delicious Thai take out.
The drunken pad noodles and spaghetti are great and Thai level spicy.
The pineapple fried rice is also delicious.
This is my new go to Thai spot.“

“This place is so good you know it’s fire when it’s elderly Thai mommas cooking 🧑🍳
Reminds you of Thailand 🥹
Note: thai food is normally on the hot end so ask for less spicy if you can’t take the heat.
Will be back thank you again!“

“Have been picking up takeout from this neighborhood staple for 26 years and I know people who have been eating here since 1990. D Thai Chinese is apparently a one-woman operation; the owner takes orders, cooks, serves etc. all by herself, and she is so sweet and friendly.
I can only respect how D Thai's prices remain lower than other Thai/Chinese places in the area, although the prices have been raised in the last year or so (two dollars up per lunch and dinner special). The quality of the food however has remained reliably good, fresh cooked to order, and flavorful. I don't know enough about Chinese or Thai cooking to comment on how authentic it is, but it's pretty good in my opinion and that's what matters most to me.
I've tried most of the menu over the years and the standouts to me are the fried rice, thai basil chicken, mongolian beef, beef salads, and pad see ew. The majority of the menu is four stars, but those are the five star items in my experience.
Be advised, cash only and takeout only! For what it is -- a takeout Asian hole-in-the-wall restaurant -- D Thai is a respectable local treat that I will allow myself pretty regularly within my budget. Since the owner lady is so likeable and impressive, and the food is plentiful and decent quality for your dollar, I have to rate this place five stars overall.
Thank you, nice owner lady, for your years of providing your good food and service to Westminster's hungry and grateful people!“

“I walked into a small restaurant and was greeted by the owner who was very polite and accommodating, it was clean and atmosphere was welcoming. I ordered Yellow Curry w/chicken & Pad Si Ew Noodles with beef to go, I was asked to have a seat and about 12-15 mins later the food was ready to go. The yellow curry was tasty but I tend to have very high standards when it comes to curry. It was more than adequate but it could have been spicier and to be honest, I’ve had better and worse. However, the Pad Si Ew Noodle with beef was AWESOME! It was so delicious and perfectly balanced. I would definitely come back just for this dish 😋“

“YUM!!!! First time trying this place and it was gooooood!! We ordered the tangerine chicken. Super crispy and light. Delicious! Also ordered the spicy garlic fried rice with chicken with extra spice and it did not dissapoint! It was our first time there so that's all we had but we will be back to try more! :)“
“Phi Thai Eatery is surprisingly good. We had the green curry, tom yum soup, pad thai, pad see ew, and veggie spring rolls, all of which they were able to make vegan and all of which were delicious. It was a life-saving meal after midnight when there’s almost nothing else open that has vegan fare, much less scrumptious, spicy eats like you find here!“
“By far one of the best Thai food spots in LA family owned since the 80s been coming to them since I was a kid. Their 7 sea soup is amazing. So glad they opened this spot in Pico Rivera. I used to go all the way to their Hollywood location. Will be coming way more than I should.“
