“Came here one morning after passing it the other day. It was not busy as it was when I first passed by it. The service was quick and easy. I ordered the chicken and waffles. Honestly it was a huge portion of food. The chicken was nice and crispy. Seasoned well and the waffle was really good. The gravy was a nice touch and good but I Honestly did not finish it. Everything was so delicious and the coffee was also great. Great atmosphere bomb food and exceptional service. 👌“

“Highly recommend Jason Cafe! Our family stayed in the neighborhood for a week and ate here four out of our seven days. The service is super fast but never feels impatient, orders always 100% correct, hot, and delicious! Hands down the best waffles I’ve ever had, but everything is good. Servers are amazing, efficient, and friendly. They were really nice to my child who has Tourette Syndrome, never made him feel weird. Also the place is super clean—nothing is sticky or needs to be wiped down—they keep it immaculate.“

“I ordered the sizzling stonepot with galbi (beef) and an ube latte, and both were excellent! The stonepot had a generous portion, tasted just like Korean BBQ, and was packed with flavor. The ube latte had a great ube taste without being too sweet or overpowering. I'd definitely order both again and would recommend giving them a try!“

“Had a fantastic team lunch at Hatched in Palo Alto with my office colleagues. We went for a fully vegetarian spread and tried a great mix of their popular toasts and burgers, including Avocado Toast, Wild Mushroom Toast, Ricotta Toast, Heirloom Tomato Toast, Impossible Burger, Portobello Mushroom Burger, Veggie Burger, and Black Bean Burger.

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The Avocado Toast and Wild Mushroom Toast really stood out for their rich, well-balanced flavors, while the Portobello Mushroom Burger and Impossible Burger were hearty, satisfying, and perfect for a lunch outing. The Veggie Burger and Black Bean Burger were also delicious and packed with texture and taste.

The service was friendly and efficient, and the ambiance was bright and relaxed—ideal for a casual office lunch. Overall, Hatched delivered a great vegetarian-friendly experience with plenty of variety. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for anyone looking for tasty veg options in Palo Alto.“

“This place is great for what me and one of my friends go there for whenever it's time to do a Sunday catch-up. Tasty, basic diner style food with plenty of options for Hawaiian and Filipino favorites as well. The menu has huge variety, and everything is served up by warm and friendly staff who keep the coffee topped off and seem to enjoy being there.“
