“Just had my 3rd dining experience this morning and all 3 breakfast meals have been fantastic! As a person on the carnivore diet, I find it refreshing I can order an all protein meal and be completely satiated without paying an arm and a leg. Eggs were scrambled perfectly and the bacon was delicious. And who could have thought a simple burger patty could taste so good. Must be a magic griddle! Highly recommend! Oh, and service is amazing. My Americano was tasty!“

“Just picked up my chicken soup this afternoon,my granddaughter wanted to go to the park,I ordered it over the phone and they said 10 minutes but we stayed at the park for. 45 minutes the soup and croissant was still hot not warm but hot my granddaughter loved the bread man lol“

“It is such a beautiful little place. It has a cozy atmosphere. The food was fabulous. We had a party of 13. We had a wide range of delicious food. Lamb ..Chicken Filet Mignon.. Mussels .. Prawns... “I used to work in this building in the early 1980's at the Bronze Seal coffee shop. It's great to see it still thriving. I remember the original owner Roger Steck. Such great memories growing up in Benicia.“

“Great little spot in the industrial area of Benicia. They had a fair amount of seating set up both indoors and outdoors, and they had 8-10 beers on tap. I went with their Golden Stout and really enjoyed it. The Beertender (Molly) was super friendly. I'd go back if I was in the area.“

From the moment we walked in, we felt like guests in a welcoming place, after a long day of appointments, we were in search of refuge in the form of chips and salsa, a stiff drink and maybe a plate of nachos before an hour long trek back home to SF. We had the street tacos, rice and beans with chips and salsa. Delicious is an understatement! If you want awesome food, a nice place to eat, indoors or out, OR you prefer street side at a table to people watch, indoors for air conditioning, or there's ALSO - the back courtyard with shade and privacy, plenty of seating, fans for hot days or heat lamps for cold nights... “First time stopping by here after work. I started at the bar to order some happy hour drinks and appetizers and then moved on to a table with friends. The bartender and server at the table were great. The atmosphere inside was very chill, not too crowded, and had people from every walk of life. I would definitely be coming back. My only thing was the chicken wings I ordered were supposed to be salt and pepper but came out with little to no seasoning. I did try the fries, and they were decent.“

“We have been going to Dianna's for years. We moved to the area back in 2014, and found out in 2017 that my husband was celiac.

Dianna makes all her cakes, cookies, breads and pastries with loving care, and makes many items gluten free, which is such a treat for my husband.

Her sandwiches and coffee are good too, and she usually has homemade GF bread in reserve to make a quick GF sandwich for those requiring it.

Like any "local store", product availability varies. Some days my husband can get GF Banana Bread or Carrot Cake. Other times, those aren't available but GF Zucchini Bread and Red velvet cake are. It's actually a nice surprise.

I suspect Dianna's was hit hard by Covid, and I know she's mostly a one-man show now, which must be a lot of work. But she does a good job of cranking out the goodies and serving them up well.

If you're in the area, especially if you are celiac, I highly recommend giving Dianna's a try for lunch or coffee/tea and baked goods!“
