The huevos rancheros mexicana are simply the best you can get in the east bay. The corn tortillas are also nice and hearty, unlike the dry mealy ones I see elsewhere. I'll back again and again for the same meal.
We ordered the catering for high school game here. The food is excellent, fresh, not salty. Beef is tender, Guacamole is very fresh. Churros is a must-try. It has chocolate filling. Staffs are very friendly. Highly recommended!
Excellent food, punches well above expectations. Generous portions. Love experimenting with the hot sauce collection on the wall.

University Taqueria is a restaurant known for its delicious Mexican cuisine. They offer generous portion sizes with giant burritos filled with flavor. The carne asada and guacamole are standouts, always fresh and accompanied by complimentary tortilla chips. The burritos are celebrated for their authentic flavors, and the sauce bar adds to the experience. Their horchata is also highly praised for its authenticity. The restaurant is inviting with exceptional service, treating every customer like family. Aromas of Mexican dishes fill the cozy atmosphere, making it a great spot for any meal. Customers have enjoyed the well-seasoned burrito bowls and enchilada plates, often noting the quality of the ingredients. Although there may be occasional order mix-ups, such as smaller taco sizes compared to other places, customers still find the food to be amazing. University Taqueria is highly recommended for Mexican food lovers. Don't forget to try Cals Fried Chicken and Burgers across the street!
