“As a huge fans of acai bowl or any smoothie bowls, I really recommend this place. Among smoothie bowl places that i’ve been visited in Bay Area, this place has one of the most aesthetically pleasing bowls. The price is a bit higher compare to other smoothie bowl places, but it is worth it since they offer great variety of topping. The taste and the texture are okay. For me, I have anothe smoothie bowl place that I like more than this place in term of the taste, however, aesthetically-wise this palm-acai cafe is the winner“

“Folks with celiac disease who can’t have wheat, barley or rye (need to be gluten free): Swung by at 8am when they open to find the shop closed with no activity. About 8:15 saw some folks moving around inside. Gave it a few for them to get settled and headed in about 8:35. I saw at least one of their smoothies had wheat bran. Since things felt very disorganized, I didn’t trust they would be able to handle cross contact safely so I left.“

“I love this place! I have been going here since it opened and it has always been wonderful. Everyone is always so kind and welcoming, and the food is great. They are also very fast, which means my family can always get food when we are in a rush.“

“This is the best boba place in Berkeley. The lady working here is so nice and she even gave my friend a free drink for his birthday! If you ever pull up here make sure to get the grape sparkling or any of the Thai tea. Their sushi roll is also amazing. I swear you won’t be disappointed :)

“One of my go-to sandwich shops on Solano Ave. Great paninis – can vouch for the shrimp & avocado, tuna, or vegetarian. Comes with a decent side salad and packaged in a convenient, highly portable, reusable, compostable box. Service can be a little slow at peak times, but not too bad.“

“The Yemeni coffee was really good. The pastry was stale and underwhelming. I’d say all items are overpriced. You guys need to step up your pastry game, I was disappointed. $7 for a stale piece of baked dough. “The cheese” inside was all dried up. We sat by the window and it’s great to people watch.“

“We discovered Uncommon Grounds at our favorite restaurant on our wedding anniversary many years ago and have been brewing their coffee beans ever since (perhaps 15 years?) and simply love the freshness, flavor and depth of their different coffees.Especially enamored by their decaf coffee as well. “They use a touch-screen order system, you don't have to wait for help. The foods was great and the portions were just right. The wait may be longer than some might like but that just means you haven't had to cook much, it takes time. You could probably eat there but it would be kind of tight. “Love this spot so much. Huge salads, good prices, refreshing smoothies. They use good fresh fruits and veggies. My favorite is sitting in the back patio on a sunny day. It's a bit quieter too than some other spots in the area that can be too crowded. Lots of nice natural light inside too.“

“I LOVE happy lemon. This is one of my favorite boba places for a fruity drink. The blended lemon drinks, which are unique to happy lemon, are my favorite. I like sweet drinks, and I'd say 100% sweetness is pretty sweet. Occasionally I'll get a milk tea, though they aren't my favorite place for such drinks. I did learn recently that a lot of drinks have sweetened condensed milk, even if you sub soy milk for the regular milk. So for anyone lactose intolerant, be sure to confirm while ordering. For this reason, I'd recommend another shop for more milk tea options.“
