“I'll tell you...the Tacos El Rey Food Truck is a great stop for lunch! I had to wait a while to pick up my custom made Harpoon heads from the Iron Works place so I walked over to the El Rey taco truck, and got a couple of chicken tacos grande, and they were amazing! The shrimp burrito has just as much flavor but is a little lighter.One of the delicious things about this burrito is the inclusion of sour cream in the regular— the difference between regular and super burrito is just the size, not ingredients, so you can get all of the amazing flavor in a smaller size!The pricing is a little inconsistent— it would be good if they updated their menu so that it reflected their charges. There’s a dollar different here and there.“

I haven’t had such amazing Northern Mexican food since 2020 in Arizona and I went to Playa del Carmen. Which the tacos were just as good but I was missing a good burrito and that’s just what I got.

The carnitas marinade was excellent, no extra salsa required. They also actually have horchata which is the other thing I’d been missing. This one is thick, sweet, and tastes more of vanilla than cinnamon. But it was delicious.“

“This is a quick serve onigiri restaurant in downtown Berkeley. It's awesome to be able to get fresh onigiri in the East Bay and they include edamame as well. We split a plate of 3 and got the short rib(x2) and the unagi. Very small inside the restaurant, very much a get your food and go type place, but there is some room to eat standing up. They were quick, well priced and delicious. The perfect quick bite.“
