“I’ve been here a few times and have always had a great time . Personally my favorite is during the colder months , they start serving tortilla soup. All other times I’ve ordered chilaquiles mild. If you’re feeling adventurous and want to try the hot version, they offer to put some of the hot sauce in a little cup so you can control the heat. The staff is very attentive and always makes sure my glass or mug is full. If you’re visiting bethel, then I’d recommend this place and the bar right next door.

Parking: Parking lot is tight , but you can always park on the street.“

“I'm visiting from Texas. Stopped here with my family after the farmers market and had some carne asada street tacos. Flavor was excellent the green sauce and Pico were on point and definitely made me feel at home. I highly recommend adding breakfast tacos to your menu it's a Texas staple that everybody would love here (I'm a local native). Went to the bathroom to wash my hands and it was one of the cleanest bathrooms I've seen at a restaurant, bonus points for that. I will definitely return on my next visit thank you for the wonderful service today!“

“I was turned to the place because of my students. They talked about the breakfast burritos so much, I had to try. You get 2 for 7 for potatoes, your choice of meat and eggs or 2 for 8 for chorizo and potatoes- and I think also eggs. Delish! I have since tried their chiliquiles and haven't looked back!“

“I’ve lived in this town since I was 4 years old so I remember what La Costa used to be. It was a tiny shack that had the best Mexican food around. Now a days they have a nice building with a fountain outside. It’s so convenient for me to get a quick bite after I’m done with Jiu jitsu at Growth Mindset Collective. I really love this place since the owner lives here in Oakley. We should all be supporting our local business owners that make Oakley a good place to live.“

“They're burrito bowl was really big and tasty. Although I didn't ask for it, they put a lot of fajita mix with it. Of course rice and beans and also lots of guacamole. It was really good. They have a really impressive salsa bar with chips, the salsa bar had over 8 different salsa's, price was ok, a little on the high side, but the free salsa and chips really made up for it.“

“This place is an amazing hidden gem. I wish they were located in a spot that is easier to find because I want others to enjoy their food. There is another mediocre place in town (that shall remain nameless) that everyone raves about but this tiny, family owned taqueria located inside a Mexican market is 100 times better. Please go there and spend your money. They deserve the support and the other place already gets plenty of business because of their location and the fact that most people think it's the only place in town. Service was top notch our serving person checked in with us regularly, and when she went on break she let us know, introduced the person covering for her and asked if we needed anything before she went on break. The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. Temperature was set at a comfortable setting. The coffee was good location was clean.“
