“I'll admit I know about as much about Persian food as a sea cucumber knows about macroeconomics. The food here was great, sure, but the environment was amazing. Everyone from the lovely lady behind the counter to the regulars playing cards in the corner made me feel like I was right at home. I had the chicken kabob at their recommend and I'm glad that I did. I will admit that the yogurt soda was not for me though. The indoor seating is super small and cramped but that's more because they seem to expect you to eat on the patio. I'd happily go back again, if only to learn more Farsi.“

“Wow. I just put my fork in to pull some chicken meat off and it was so tender the bone popped right out (even though it wasn’t my intent) and came off 100% clean. Unreal.. reminds me of the food back home. Can’t wait to try everything on the menu including the fried eggplant vegan sandwich. We got the lemon chicken, falafel, and fried cauliflower, which is more like a cauliflower steak than florets. Delicious but just an fyi.“

From the start, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and Ellie was especially kind. She checked in on us and made us feel genuinely cared for along with the hostess who was amazing. We even shared how disappointing our Valentine's Day dinner last year had been elsewhere, which made this experience feel like a complete and refreshing opposite in the best way. Everything from the service to the pacing and overall vibe was fantastic, and the food was outstanding, with the seasoned beef easily being our favorite among the delicious cuts. Overall, it was a wonderful Valentine's Day that we'll truly look back on fondly and we will definitely be back again!“

“Indian and Mexican fusion is an incredible innovation. We got two burritos, the appetizer sampler, roti, paratha, a mango lassi, and a tea and everything was so delicious. They even brought us out some soup and rice pudding without us even asking for it. The soup was really comforting on that rainy day and the rice pudding was the perfect light and sweet note to end the meal with. I’m so glad we stumbled onto this place on the last day of our trip. “We drove from Phoenix to L.A to eat there.
I have not had a couscous in 35 plus years and it was very very good.
The ambiance is good, and the owners are really nice people. Overall a good solid 10/10.
It was worth driving 370 miles. Of course, we are gonna be doing other things, but the first dinner was a hit.

“I had this placed saved on Instagram and decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint! We got the chicken kebab plate with extra pita bread. It was so delicious 😋 EVERY bite produced a happy dance. Customer service was great. The girl at the counter was very patient with us. There’s outside seating where we chose to sit and free parking on the side streets. I would’ve given them five stars but the fries were lukewarm. They were seasoned and crispy but warm. I will definitely be back and I can’t wait to eat my leftovers tomorrow.“

“This is honestly the best brisket sandwich and burger I have ever had IN MY LIFE!!! And I have had a lot of both! The brisket has more of a pulled pork consistency and it is unreal with that in house slaw and potato bun. Smash style burgers are also my top fave kind of burger and they do it exactly how I would dream of it being done. They are also not your usual slider size. These are the size of a kids meal burger (so to me- that’s normal sized). Not some giant sand which but the perfect size. I would normally be content with just one of these sandwiches but I did the combo so one brisket and one burger and I could not stop eating either one even after the meat sweats set in! I got the fries with no cheese and they were great. So happy to have found this place! Speaking of place: there are no signs. Its inside of urban skillet and there are no signs or menus up in there either so feels like an underground magic spot. I feel like I’m in the know now. Thank you! (Next time I’ll take pics.)“

But SAMO PIZZA is the real deal.

My kids needed to use the bathroom, and unfortunately, we were told no. For that reason, I would not return, as I prefer restaurants that have restroom facilities, especially when dining with children.“

“I'm at a loss for words, but I'll try my best. Food? Amazing! Perfect amount of seasoning and the portions are huge! And this is coming from a big dude. For the appetizers, my favorites were the Kashk E'bademjan (Eggplant Delight), Potato Salad, and the Hummus! They have more selections, but this is what I was able to try. I hear all are great! For the Entrees, ALL OF THEIR KABOBS ARE FIRE (MMM MMMM YUMMY). I had a sample of most them and in the islands, we would say "broke da mouf kine", which translates to, the food is *beep beep* GOOD! If you've never had Persian Food, or you love it, this is the restaurant for you! Drinks? I love Korean Soju and Cass beer, so yeah, +10 points from me. They do carry various Wines and Beers though...and of course your choice of Soda Pop. Atmosphere? It' gives you a Kewl Kids Vibe; a classy place where you can be yourself with family and friends and just enjoy each others company. You have your choice of Indoor and Outdoor dinning which is amazing. There's also a private room upstairs that can hold 20 people for a meal and karaoke (there is a fee to reserve, but very much worth it). Staff? We were greeted at the door as if we were coming home. Pasha and his staff go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Their suggestions on meal and drink pairings are spot on. I can't thank Pasha and the crew for making our group outing a success. Overall? I'll be going back and I hope that you add this restaurant to your list of 'go to' places to dine at. You will not be disappointed, I promise you. (Unless your attitude stinks or you're not willing to try new food ‍) Pasha again, thank you so much for the hospitality. “Baja California Tacos is our go to fish taco spot in LA. Dont be put off by the appearance of this spot, as the fish tacos are among the best we’ve ever had. You can’t go wrong with either their fresh flour or corn tortillas. Their fried fish is always piping hot and crispy and the lettuce and pico are fresh and bright. The crema is perfectly seasoned and adds a satisfying creaminess. Baja California Tacos is comparable to the greats like Kikos and Oscars down in San Diego and more than satisfies the fish taco craving in LA!“

“Had a great experience at The Kebab Shop! The manager, Juan, was super helpful and welcoming—great customer service makes all the difference. I ordered the grilled chicken bowl and it was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The bathrooms were clean, which is always a plus in my book. Even though they opened a new location in Santa Clarita, this one remains top tier—the taste here is always on point. Definitely my go-to spot!“
