Eggs Benedict was a hearty breakfast with a jumbo cinnamon roll. Everything on the menu is prepared with top-notch ingredients, so order your favorite food and it will be delicious.
Coffee is refilled often and stays warm. Others had pecan waffles which pecans are mixed in batter, not just sprinkled on top. Orange juice is fresh-squeezed.
We ate outside in the sunshine and cool air for a pleasant atmosphere. Dog friendly so animal friends will be around to visit.
Service was excellent. Danielle was on top of everything and didn't miss a beat!

“We went camping near Big Bear, and found Murray's because they have karaoke. We ended up going all 4 nights of our stay after our daytime activities were finished. The karaoke host Russ is a super fun friendly guy, and all the bar/food staff were so friendly and welcoming. By our 4th night there it was like we'd known these people for years. We were sad to leave. They also have probably the best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had in my life.“

“This is a hidden gem. Our group members raved about their delicious breakfasts. I had a huge double burger on a homemade brioche bun. Prices were more reasonable than those in the center of Big Bear Lake. Blanca's niece served us and brought a bowl of water for our friend's dog without anyone asking. The one big negative is there is only perpendicular parking off a busy road. So you have to wait for a break in traffic to back out.“

You can have taco specials on Tuesdays, and beef ribs on Thursdays. Comes with corn, potato, and cornbread made by Monica. Might not be able to finish it all. “Randomly dropped into Piza Kama for lunch while visiting Big Bear this summer. We arrived shortly after they opened and were the first ones there. We split margarita pizza and it was PHENOMENAL! The dough and sauce had amazing flavor. Probably the best pizza sauce I’ve ever had.“

“Fantastic experience here! It's a very cute, very tasty restaurant where you can get Tex-Mex specialties. If you're able to visit for breakfast, my partner and I really enjoyed the chilaquiles. The chile relleno was also cooked to perfection. Servers were very friendly; there was a table of older folks that seemed like regulars, and the waitresses were so nice taking their time to speak with them. Seems like a family-owned place where they have lots of regulars! :)“

PROS: Located in the heart of Big Bear village, this rustic, warm, and cozy restaurant provided wonderful amabiance for a Spring evening meal. Hostesses and greeters welcomed us with smiles and friendliness. Our server, Leticia, provided courteous, professional, and knowledgeable service. We ordered the outstanding macademia nut crusted crab cakes with a wonderfully balanced chunky mango salsa. Not since the heyday of Citrone's in Redlands crab cakes have I delighted so dearly of these crustacean delicacies. The baked brie accompanied with toasted pine nuts, and chipotle rasberry sauce paired deliciously with grilled ciabatta. The freshly baked bread added a nice yeasty element with butter. The entree of pistachio crusted chicken with orange dijon sauce complimented each other sweetly. The buttery sweet potato mash contributed to the nutty tangy protein. I enjoyed dipping the freshly prepared vegetables with the sauce and mash! CONS: The salad that comes with the entree seemed like an after thought and definitely did not compare to the freshly made soups. The dishes are slightly overpriced compared to other places with similar food selections. So, the value is not exactly there. OVERALL: With a dirge of options at the quality and professionality of Peppercorn Grill in Big Bear, I highly recommend this spot for a wonderful dinner with friends and loved ones. ⚜️💚⚜️“

“So delicious. I got the Lamb Korma the first time the lamb was tender and the sauce was so good creamy and the right amount of spices. The next time I got the butter chicken and I don't know what they do but I think it is some of the best I have had.

My husband got the Lamb vindaloo and he got it a 10 spicy and absolutely loved it. The flavor was excellent and he was sweating and it was definitely spicy (he has a very high spice tolerance);it was really tasty not just hot.

We also got the garlic naan which was good too.

“Oakside Restaurant was an amazing discovery! We had lunch there today, Saturday, April 5th, at a table for three. We are visiting from French Polynesia, and this is our first time in Big Bear.
