“We have visited this location twice using their drive thru and experienced fantastic service and quality fast food albeit tacos, fries and their chicken wrap. They also provided us with a shit load of condiments to go with the food. I give this location a 5th star based on our last visit. We pulled in for a late lunch on a Saturday, made our order, when we got to the window the drive thru employee gaves us our food and when I handed him our card he stated the manager was paying for our lunch. I was surprised and made sure I thanked her. Although she sort of shrugged it off we were touched that someone would cover the cost of our lunch. Don't know the reason why but it was enough to move this Jack in the Box from 4 stars to 5 stars. Nice job, Jack!“

“Portion sizes were good, the chicken and carnitas were good, the al pastor didnt taste like anything tbh. They put lettuce on the tacos, and guacamole which for most is a plus but for me wish they’d mentioned it on the menu before i ordered. I wanted a burrito but they make them weird missing the things i want (rice beans cheese with the meat) and adding things I dont generally go for (lettuce salsa fresca guacamole)

Its authentic but whitewashed, like the menu caters to the oceanside surfers rather than latinos who want an authentic tj taco. Overall it was decent but not my top tier favorite.“

“I work in the area, and after going to a few different taco shops the carne asada burrito tasted the freshest.

The parking situation is a bit tight and isn’t that accommodating to larger vehicles. If it was busy, I think parking would be problematic. Aside from that, I will come back.“

“First time eating here. Was working in the area and looked up taco shops near by and found this place and saw great reviews. This place lived up to the reviews. I believe it has a new name from what I saw inside it said Raskals Taco Shop. If your ever near by, definitely consider checking this place out. It was clean and ambient and service was great. “We started with their Cadillac margarita straight up with an extra shot of tequila on the side. The margarita and tequila was very smooth. I usually get Patron Silver but this time we tried Cierto Blanco. We nibbled on the chips and salsa as we enjoyed our drinks. Then we ordered the chicken Fajitas de la Casa with all rice and no beans. The guacamole was bright green. They cover the chicken fajitas with a crema. I assumed the crema was on the side. Their corn tortillas are amazing. I could eat them separately by themselves. There’s no shredded cheese, just the crema which was different. I definitely prefer shredded cheese. Then there’s the grilled bell peppers, onions and a couple tomatoes. Excellent flavors. Great service from our server. The restaurant has a fun upbeat vibe with positive energies.
For me, the margarita was a 5, service a 5, corn tortillas, guacamole, grilled vegetables and rice were a 5. The crema on the grilled chicken was a 3.75. This is why the food score was 4 stars and not 5. Almost 5 stars across the board.
Suggestion: have the server inform the customer the crema usually is on top of the chicken and would they prefer it on the side.“

“This is authentic tacos for real. It reminds me of going down to TJ. Super delicious. They have like eight different meats that you get to choose from and for a carnivore like me that is outstanding! The two dudes that were there working a really nice. And you gotta try the salsas

“This is definitely a to go style taco shop, or a quick lunch break and you aren't looking for ambience. But the food is sit down restaurant quality. I'm a gardener so I've had plenty of burritos over the years and the ham + egg breakfast burritos are top notch tasty!“

“One of the best food trucks in North County. Authentic ensenada fish & shrimp tacos. Made from there family recipe that originated in Ensenada ! Now these Tacos & burritos are actually better that the Mexican original as Meche's adds tomatoes and proprietary ingredients to upgrade what they offer. Very comfortably the best fish tacos of any food truck.“

“Breakfast burritos are the best. I love their their rice and bean burritos and their fish burritos as well as the mistake burrito. They could add a little too much white sause on the fish burrito, so I always ask them to go easy on the sause. Fish burrito have a lot of cabbage but it's still good. Prices have increased everywhere, so that's no surprise here either.“

“I was lucky enough to have carnitas, chicharrones, & tortillas carried up to Alaska for me to try! It was all AMAZING and a great taste of back home. Authentic carnitas done simply. The tortillas compliment the meat too. ¡Muy delicioso!“

The only negative side is that looks like we were overcharged (which noticed only back home). 1 burrito, 2 tacos, chips, super small rice & beans = approx $43.

“We love Taco Tuesday here but it is busy so be prepared to wait in line! It's worth the wait. Salsas are spicy for us gringos but burns so good. We've only tried the street tacos - adobada and pollo asado. Good portions and very tasty. The atmosphere is taco shopesque.“

“The drive thru is typically always quick at this location. The food has always been freshly made never cold, never room temperature either. It is always good.The one working the drive thru is very friendly and demonstrates excellent customer care. I enjoy hearing them say "you, got it" "would that complete your order?" “I recently ordered My Favorite Jumbo Jack burger Regular style No added anything ! They're on sale 2 for
$ 5 . I usually always add cheese , No Ketchup , Grilled Onions . This time I just went with a Jumbo Jack , Jack in the Box style and it was Soo Tasty ! It really wasn't missing anything ! Great taste just the way it was !

“We tried ordering several things but they didn't have anything double, and nothing with milk shakes. What we did finally order was fine.service was good and quick.but out front was some homeless man who was blowing his harmonica on like the highest his speaker would allow and it was pretty annoying maybe they should ask him not to sit directly in front of the front door.“

“I love that they have kept some alternate options on their menu. My fave go-to's are their chicken teriyaki bowl combo, and the chicken fajita pita. I still like their mini tacos,but their original 2 crunchy tacos are still a better deal .“
