16 Best Taco Restaurants in Vista

“OMG!!! The food is amazing! Hard to find (because there's no sign outside and it's actually inside the Chevron Food Mart)
...but it's worth the work to find it!
The barbacoa Taco was one of the best things I've ever eaten!
(It's made from lamb meat and as a Greek, I know good lamb ...and this is some of the best!).
The owner is an absolute sweetheart, and gave me a complementary Aguas Frescas to try. The green one was out of this world yummy!
I will be here many more times.
I consider this a hidden gem!!
Some of the best food I've ever had.“

“My family and I tried Junior's Taco Shop for the first time, and we had a great experience!

We happened to visit during a slower time, which gave us the opportunity to chat with the cashier a bit, prepare our hot sauces, and place our order without any wait. Our food was also prepared and ready very quickly.

One thing I especially want to highlight is the great pricing. With the cost of food and everything else continuing to go up, it was refreshing to find a place with such reasonable prices while still serving delicious food. Junior's definitely stands out as a great value.

Our food was fresh, tasty, and satisfying, and the overall experience was welcoming and easy. We’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu!

If you’re looking for good food at reasonable prices, I’d definitely recommend giving Junior's Taco Shop a try!“

“No sabes a donde ir a comer?, ve ahí y no te arrepentirás.“

“Forgot to take pics of all the food but man, this place was good!!
The quesa-birria taco was my favorite. So flavorful. The salsas were also bomb.
The owners were super sweet as well. Definitely a gem spot and we can't wait to go back!“

“Best fish tacos on the side of the border!🔥⛽️🤩 also a great family. Try everything! It’s really good.“

“Just tried the menudo today! It was bomb af!!“

“Tried it while staying nearby and I'm so glad we did! The cashier was pleasant and on point. The food was ready quickly, everything was hot and fresh, and the portions were generous. We had tacos and chips and guac. The pollo asado and carnitas tacos were my favorite. The salsa was the best part. The green salsa was so flavorful with a nice slow burn. And the Pico de Gallo was not hot at all but delicious on the chips and tacos. I'd give this place 10 stars if I could! Nice people, great food, clean and cute restaurant. Thank you!“

“I dont have no pictures of tha tacos but believe me these are some of the best tacos I have ever had in my life..beautiful lady taking my order..the tacos maybe a Lil pricey for some but they are well worth it..tip the cook cause he deserves it..chowwww..“

“I want to give a huge shoutout to Maria M. for her incredible kindness and outstanding customer service. I was a little short on money for my meal, and without hesitation, she paid the remaining balance for me. Her generosity truly blessed me, and I’ll never forget it. She went far above and beyond what anyone would expect, and her sweet, caring attitude made such a difference in my day. Employees like Maria M. are rare, and she deserves to be recognized for the compassion and excellence she shows to her customers. Thank you so much, Maria. you are truly a blessing! ❤“

“I love that they have kept some alternate options on their menu. My fave go-to's are their chicken teriyaki bowl combo, and the chicken fajita pita. I still like their mini tacos, but their original 2 crunchy tacos are still a better deal .“

“We tried ordering several things but they didn't have anything double, and nothing with milk shakes. What we did finally order was fine.service was good and quick.but out front was some homeless man who was blowing his harmonica on like the highest his speaker would allow and it was pretty annoying maybe they should ask him not to sit directly in front of the front door.“

“To the Jack in the Box crew, thank you so much for always being so wonderful, friendly and caring. The staff always goes above and beyond. Everyone is so nice, hard working and professional. Thank you so much.

P.s. Omar and Jazmin, thank you for today. I was so tired and you guys had my order on the screen before I even uttered a word. So grateful for you.“

“I have to be honest, it's a little noisy inside. The food is really good. I had the beef wellington, it was definitely worth trying but their filet melts in your mouth. Do not leave without Gordon Ramsey's grandma dessert. It's divine. Sticky toffee pudding. The service makes you feel special. Our waiter and his staff never missed a step. You'll drop a pretty penny, maybe a parents date night, leave the kids at home. The wine wall is pretty amazing to see. Check it out.“

“The Vista branch has some problems but nothing they can't handle especially alondra. She the golden standard of what Taco Bell should stand for. Her customer service as well as multitasking has customers wishing and wanting her to be their first responder. I say if she has not been promoted yet there should be one on the way“

“Our family doesn’t fast food but our son wanted some curly fries! We decided to eat inside and we were pleasantly surprised. The manager helped serve us and find a table. Honestly we felt welcomed and served like it was a dining out as usual. We could see ourselves coming back.“
