“My friends and I came here for dinner on a Saturday. Although it was busy, we still received great service. Our food and drinks were served at an appropriate time. The servers were very accommodating to different diets (someone in our group was vegan and someone else was pescatarian). There were various options for all! We also enjoyed a couple of rounds of drinks. They were all delicious! The restaurant has round tables that make you feel like you are eating at home. They also have outdoor seating. The restaurant is dimly lit, creating an intimate and relaxing ambiance.“
“Jonny was our server the first time my friend & i came here and did not disappoint. We've been coming here for margarita Mondays and we always have a great time! Jonny always exceeds our expectations. The one thing I have a complaint about is the music. it's what's the same thing over and over again. we've tried to make suggestions but it's always the same music.. other than that Kalaveras is great.“
“Sivar Treats has an amazing staff and delicious food. There are many tasty treats: pupusas, plátano, el caldo de gallina, los postres. My family hired them for a baby shower and they were professional , kind , and the food was perfect . They have another location opening in Silverlake too!“
“I have just moved to OC and glad to have a great time at Isla. Food was yummy - the plantain chips, ceviche, sautéed garlic butter shrimps, oxtails, yuca fries, cocktails, etc. Ricardo was very helpful and gave us some great suggestions. Great service and atmosphere, would love to return soon!“

“They were catering a wedding I attended and it was so good I asked them about possibly catering for my upcoming work function. They were so easy to work with. They tailored their program to meet our needs. They were on time and items were executed as discussed. Working with them was so far the best outcome out of all of our past experiences. I would definitely recommend reaching out and seeing if they can create what you are looking for. Their food program is on point and I wish I had easier access to them on a more regular basis. They are a gem for sure!“
“Love this place food is always good and as well service is too friendly atmosphere I got the chile reino plate rice and beans we're good but expected more from the chili reino usually it's the whole chilli stuffed with cheese and egg how I'm use to it but here was different had lots of cheese and some wat egg I seen and slices of jalapenos it tasted as I dunno if it's cause thier closing soon or how that plate comes but was ok I usually get thier shredded beef taco plate wanted to try something different plus chilli reinos are my favorite just not what I expected“
“- Great platanos; nachos were good (the guac could be better/real); and sampler was good too.- Only constructive criticism would be to liven up the inside interior (outside of a wall painting and angel-wings banner, it's rather plain and boring).- Definitely worth a visit. My Dominican lady loved it and felt it was authentic (mofongo) as you can get out here on the West Coast.“
“When I walked through the door I was greeted with a smile by cashier Daneila, I ordered an asada Torta and asada taco and lemme tell you both were great had so much flavor the asada was juicy seasoning was perfect and very tender I've been to the trucks in the area and other's restaurants looking for a good torta and this is it!!! King torta for the win oh and the bread“
“This is also a store that makes you feel like you're in America.A lot of tortillas come.The avocado dip was very delicious.I'm not a fan of watermelon cocktails, but it was interesting.I ordered grilled salmon for my main dish.It was delicious and just the right amount!“
