“We’re huge fans of Porto’s, and visiting the Buena Park location is always a must whenever we’re on the West Coast. While we often order online from them, there’s something extra special about experiencing it in person. No matter how many times we’ve been, it never gets old—it’s always a treat.
It can definitely get busy, with lines often stretching outside the door, but the staff has the process down to a science. Every visit we've made between 10 a.m. and noon, we've been lucky—only about a 5-minute wait before placing our order. They move fast, stay organized, and somehow still manage to be friendly and attentive the entire time.
When dining in, they hand you a pager to place on your table, and everything—drinks and food—gets brought right to you. They even come around to clear the tables when you're done, which makes the experience feel that much more relaxed and enjoyable.
This time around we had the Media Noche sandwich, Lechon platter, and plantain chips, plus a good selection of pastries—cheese rolls, guava and cheese strudels, and our personal favorite, the besitos. Everything was flavorful and fresh. The Media Noche was packed with perfectly balanced, melty goodness, the lechon was tender and well-seasoned, and the plantain chips were crispy and addictive.
To drink, we ordered an iced vanilla oat latte and an iced Americano—both of which paired perfectly with our meal and pastries.
If you’re anywhere near Buena Park, Porto’s is worth the detour. The food is consistently excellent, the service is quick and efficient, and there’s something for everyone on the menu. Whether you’re dining in or taking a pastry box to go, you can’t go wrong. We’re already counting down to our next visit!“

“Thomas, Cody and staff were excellent! Had a great dinner, great service.“
“I had never visited a Medieval Times in my life despite growing up near one, and I finally had the opportunity to visit the Buena Park location while visiting Anaheim. This was such a fun and unique experience, and it is suitable for all ages and is a ton of fun regardless of the occasion you're celebrating. The show is entertaining and impressive from start to finish, the food is simple but delicious, and the service is excellent. I did find it a bit tacky that our server came around asking for tips at the end of the show, but I don't know how the servers are compensated so it's possible that they rely on tips.
This is a beautiful venue on the inside, and there is a gorgeous courtyard just outside the building which is a great place to relax and hang out before the show if you get there early. The meal involved tomato soup & Texas toast (garlic bread) to start off with, and then the entree included a seasoned baked chicken leg, halved seasoned baked potato, and a small piece of seasoned corn on the cob. Everyone gets an eclair for dessert, unless you have upgraded to one of the deluxe packages, in which case you also receive a piece of yellow birthday cake with chocolate icing. In my opinion, they give you plenty of food. Soda, coffee, and tea are included in the cost of your ticket, and alcohol can be purchased at an additional cost either before the show or during the show.
Very well worth the price, and I highly recommend for any occasion!“

“Food here was pretty good. Portions were quite large and not the typical Izakaya size. We got the Korean fried chicken which was really tasty. The crispy rice was ok. The regular size yakitori skewers gave quite generous portions. The decor inside is very nice.“

“Soooo delicious!! Ordered to-go & took us a little over 20mins to get home & surprisingly my Shaved Iced dessert was still frozen! Very satisfied with how everything tasted. I ordered the Green Tea Snow with Oreos, Strawberries & Popping Boba combination. I loved it. I also ordered the Pistachio & Matcha Green Tea Macarons & the Milk Tea. The Pistachio Macarons & Milk Tea was delicious. Definitely recommend. (Didn’t get to try Jesse’s Breakfast)“

“I come here very often, the food is always fresh and on point. You really get a great deal on AYCE sushi especially if you upgrade to the sashimi package. Everyone is always really friendly and ready to answer questions or suggest a popular or favorite item. I just left and already can't wait to get back! I highly recommend the eel on the sashimi menu, ridiculously good!“

“These corn dogs were delicious! I was visiting the area and stumbled across this place. The corn dogs were so good; I went two days in a row and purchased 2 corn dogs each time. The dipping sauces are great. The texture and coating are just right; not too much and not too little. I only wish there was one in VA.“

“If I had to describe this restaurant I’d say it’s totally like a home cooked meal. It’s a welcome change when traveling! The prices are reasonable and everything is homemade based on what I’m seeing. Everything is clean and the soup is hearty. Highly recommended and will be back when I’m in the area.“

“The place is clean and welcoming. The food here was amazing. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Katsu sandwich with curry dip was amazing. But you have to try the seasonal dishes like the eggplant sandwich and salmon bowl. If you’re looking for non heavy, comforting food, this is it!“

“This is a hidden gem among the other korean reseaurants/businesses in this area. Both their ramen and udon are very good. I can't believe I've never been here when I was growing up in Southern California. I don't live in this area anymore, but it's always nice to come back from time to time. This reseaurant also has a really nice music playlist.“

“We stopped by the Olive Garden in Buena Park for dinner and had a really great experience overall — definitely a 5 out of 5 for me.
The food was awesome. I didn’t really like the chicken gnocchi soup, though — something about the texture just didn’t sit right with me. Not sure what it was exactly, but it didn’t have the same appeal as everything else. That said, the never-ending salad was so good. Super fresh and crisp, and they brought out plenty of it.
Our server was really sweet, even though she accidentally forgot my Dr. Pepper at first. I mentioned it, and she apologized and comped the drink, which I thought was a really thoughtful gesture. Big points for how she handled that!
There was no wait at all when we arrived (just the two of us), and we got seated at a booth right away. It was clean, quiet inside, and honestly a really comfortable vibe. I’d say it’s not necessary to make a reservation, at least based on our visit, but it probably depends on the day since I’m not local.
The parking lot was a little sketchy, especially later in the evening — we heard a couple of people yelling at each other out there, which was kind of unsettling, but once inside, it was calm and welcoming.
We spent about $10 to $20 per person, which felt super fair for the amount of food and service we got.
Overall: great service, great food (minus that one soup), and I’d definitely come back again if I’m in the area.“

“Full menu Arby's, now with hashbrowns back, even better than before.
Locked bathrooms, neighborhood is just okay, parking is a little tight. Cashier will give you the current code for the bathrooms.
But the food was good.
They also have a drive-thru if you prefer.
Enjoy!“

authentic but morden Korean food experience🇰🇷🍚❤️
The decor mixes old traditional style with modern touches — like a cool robot server that feels very futuristic.
The food is really authentic, especially the sizzling rice, tofu soup, and galbi. 😋
We ordered 3 combos, and people of all ages really enjoyed them!“

“VERY DISAPPOINTING THAT THEY ONLY OFFER THREE ASSORTMENT OF VEGGIES (BROCCOLI, CABBAGE, CARROT) FOR THE VEGGIE PHO. IT WOULD BE IDEAL AND EXCELLENT IF IT CAME WITH MUSHROOM AND BOK CHOY. ALSO, DISAPPOINTED THAT THEY DON'T OFFER VEGGIE SPRING NOR VEGGIE EGG ROLLS (GROUND TOFU WOULD BE NICE). OTHER THAN THAT EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AMBIENCE.“

“Why I’m writing this review it’s because the food was good. The brisket was good and the lady too and I appreciate her so much and grateful she should get a $10 tip and every time she pick up the food when she when it’s cooked she says it’s hot. That’s nice. Good vibes.“

“I was in the area with my mom and haven't been here in a while. It does look like it's closed with the dark windows but it's busy inside.
They have the menu centered around donkkaesu (Korean version of donkatsu). We both got a combo of pork katsu ($14.95) with a small bowl of udon soup ($7) added to the meal. It came with a bowl of rice and a side of shredded cabbage with radish kimchi and pickled jalapeno. There's also a piece of fried shrimp and a fried potato ball.
The wait time was not long and the food came quickly. The lady came by and gave a small bowl of sesame seeds in a bowl so people can grind it to their preferences.
The katsu was crispy and a good size. It was not dried and the breading was not too thick.
The staff is nice, restroom was a bit messy.“

“I really love Korean-style cold noodles (naengmyeon), and if a place makes their own noodles, I’m always willing to try it. The noodles here were excellent in texture, but the broth was lacking in depth and flavor. While this isn’t a naengmyeon specialty restaurant, if they’re going to keep it on the menu, it might be worth putting a bit more care into the broth. Honestly, the soy-marinated pork ribs and other dishes might be a better choice here than the naengmyeon.
I visited again after a long time and ate soft tofu, cold noodles, and grilled pork ribs in soy sauce. Sundubu is similar in every restaurant, but Korean-style naengmyeon gets high marks because the noodles are made directly . It is not easy to make noodles yourself using a noodle machine. In Korea, only famous cold noodle restaurants make noodles themselves.
The pork ribs were delicious as they had no smell, the meat was soft, and there was a lot of it. The staff were especially friendly, so I didn't regret giving them a tip.
These days, it's hard to eat in a world where tips are so expensive. It's been a while since I've been back, but I always want to visit this restaurant.“

“I always come to the habit and enjoy the food and the customer service as well. Unfortunately yesterday the environment was not the best due to a customer yelling at who seems to be the manager, this customer really ruined my meal I really hope the Habit doesn’t let their employees be treated this way as he was yelling at her while she was trying to apologize. I know this has nothing to do with the restaurant specifically but I saw his review and would just like to state that what he said is wrong and as a customer myself they have never controlled the tips I leave.
If y’all can ban this guy from the restaurant it would be helpful so me and my hubby can enjoy our char’s in peace.
Save the drama for your mama sir.
Excellent BBQ bacon cheeseburgers btw !“
“Michell saved the day!! We had a group of eight for dinner and our original server took our orders and never came back from break. Michell took over and was helpful, funny, and courteous. All of the food was good but some of us ordered the Thanksgiving Pasties and they were DELICIOUS. Highly recommend Ghost Town Grill over any of the faster places at Knotts. Ony request for Knotts- bring back the Boysenberry Gin & Tonics! They were FABULOUS and we were so disappointed you took them off the menu!“

“Genuine Japanese Ramen with rich Miso taste. No other ramen shops serve this taste and only one in SoCal. It’s worth to spend your time to go to this place if you are Ramen Lover! Now they start serving Shio-Ramen (Clear Salt base soup) with Truffle oil flavor. This one is very good, too!“
