“I checked out Charlie's Fish N Chips. Got the Red Snapper and Shrimp combo, both deep fried. Came with Fries, a dinner roll and a salad. The Fish and Shrimp were hittin', the Fries weren't hot. Staff was cool and efficient. I would go here again 100.“

“Dynamite fried fish at this little spot, located in a strip mall in Sylmar. I ordered red snapper and catfish, and both items were delicious--well-seasoned, perfectly cooked and served up piping hot. I particularly enjoyed the catfish. Outstanding flavor, very fresh tasting! So good! And the proprietor of this business is really friendly and welcoming. Very good food and very good vibes! I will be back.“

“The red snapper was seasoned & fried just right . I love the crinkle fries & hush puppies that accompanied the fish. I appreciated the packaging the fish dinner came in, a small card board box with a lid to keep everything warm & crispy. Alot of fish markets use Styrofoam containers which sweat the fish & fries out causing them not to have that fresh crispy texture. They give you tarter sauce in the packets like ketchup come in which is OK but, if they were to switch to the tarter sauce that come in the small round plastic container that most fish markets provide & add a bread roll , it would be over the top. Overall very nice fish dinner. The price i selected was for 2 red snapper dinners $38.00.“

The Tuck shop next door 🚪 OMG do not get me started we easily spend a small fortune each time. Because we know we can stock up & the price is reasonable. we actively choose to drive their rather than go online because it's about supporting other businesses & expats. This pub truly has an English atmosphere. Reminds me home UK & Ireland. THEY GOT CRACKERS IN! birds custard, every sweet you could want. if you are British & you are in LA. if you ent been here...are you even britsh?“
