“I had wheat grass shot! I enjoyed talking with everyone at this shop and was able to park my bike outside and still keep an eye on it from inside! The was feeling bad with brain fog and fatigue and after I left I felt great! Definitely will come again and will bring my family to try as well! I used to work in a juice bar so it’s hard to impress me but this spot is the real deal! Not only do I wish I worked here but to own it would be awesome! Thanks to the owner for opening and yes it’s expensive but try making it yourself I promise you will rather pay! lol“

“Convenient location from the SFO airport. Nori roll with the “tuna pate” was really delicious Blueberry banana smoothie was also great, made with their homemade almond milk. I was warned beforehand which items contained honey (I believe it is mostly the desserts that have honey). Updated from previous review on 2025-04-10“

“The drinks are excellent. The food is all decent for the most part, but I absolutely love the fried rice for a comfort meal. It's clear they make it to order because it's so hot and fresh whenever I get it. Add an egg, you won't regret it!“

“It was fun going during the soft opening of Palmetto Superfoods in Burlingame (there are other locations in the Metreon, on Union Street, and on Clement Street in San Francisco, with another planned for Santana Row). I learned a lot by speaking with the super friendly and deservedly-proud owner. This location in Burlingame is a really cool little spot diagonally across from Safeway and has a sweet public rooftop sitting area. And I love that everything is plant-based except the honey and bee pollen, but they have a vegan apple honey — which is absolutely delicious — as a superior substitute. Anyway, with a choice of bowls (and smoothies), one could choose a set one on the menu or customize everything with unlimited bases and toppings — as long as it fits in whatever size bowl you choose (yup, I totally went large). I opted for the Bay Blend, but swapped out the strawberries (not really my thing) for toasted coconut flakes (most definitely my thing). The bowl was quickly layered by the friendly employee, who looked like she was excited for her next opportunity to surf, at least in my imagination. From the açaí, pitaya/dragonfruit, and chia pudding on the bottom to the banana and almond butter in the middle to the granola, blueberries, and toasted coconut, etc. on top, it was scrumptious and satisfying. Wanting to try a little more deliciousness, I decided to take a Midnight Beach smoothie to go. Now that I’m gone, I know I’ll be back!“

“This is my favorite boba shop in the Bay Area!
They use Straus fresh milk, Califia almond milk, and Oatly oat milk — all high-quality choices in the market.
Their boba is also amazing — always soft, chewy, and just the right amount of sweetness.
What I love most is that their drinks are never overly sweet, unlike many other shops.
Their seasonal watermelon drinks are super refreshing and perfect for summer. You can even see piles of fresh watermelon behind the counter, so I’m confident their fruit drinks are made with real, fresh ingredients.“

“Well the setting is inside of family fare on Burlingame and 28th the lady moved a little slow but was friendly it was a nice little area that you can sit down at and enjoy your coffee and talk to someone and the only problem I have is for a small coffee it was $6 that is absolutely highway robbery. Other than that it was okay“

“Super nice and helpful staff, the drinks were ready so fast! The tea and boba are pretty good, but the menu is slightly limited. The interior of this place is not the cutest, but there's lots of chairs. Very good location, right in the downtown.“

“Love stores that are specialized in just one item and do it very well. The owner only sells freshly squeezed sugar cane juice, that's it. It's squeeze-to-order. In a giant machine right in front of you. Didn't add any water or sugar: you can see it and taste it. Unlike many other places in the Bay Area that sell sugar cane juice.
They are many add-on options. All real juice.
You might think it's expensive ($8 for a regular cup, $10 for a bigger cup) but for a full cup of real juice vs. boba tea that has lots of extra sugar, coloring and flavoring, I think it's a good deal
Oh the owner also gives us some samples while we wait, that's an extra half cup there
It's gonna be very tough but I hope he can keep his business alive for a long time.“

“What a great place to have breakfast or brunch. We are coming from SF to Filoli and were looking for place to eat. This Cafe popped up on the map. And I’m so glad we stopped by. I had the special bagel and my husband had a pastrami sandwich, with mint lemonade and turkey coffee.“
“Marisa cares about her customers and it shows. I go to many Jamba Juice locations on the Bay Area Peninsula and this one is the best because of the service! Keep up the good work Marisa!“

“Deja Vu Organic Juice Bar in Downtown San Mateo is my go-to for fresh juices, smoothies, açaí bowls, and healthy bites. The flavors are always consistent, the space is inviting with a sunny back patio, and the music is always vibing. Perfect spot to recharge or get some work done, with super kind owners and even a small discount for cash.“

“I was very glad when the cafeteria opened, as I don’t like chain coffee shop and now I can just buy good coffee from local shop instead of 15 mins driving to Blue bottle. I always go with latte, and it is okay ish - it is definitely better than chain coffee but in my mind not up to other boutique cafes like blue bottle/verve, and not even to latte I made at home sometimes (and I don’t have an expensive Lamarzoco machine). Also as others pointed out, it is too milky with large cups. But the price is the same as the other boutique cafes! I was surprised when I first noticed the price: close to $8 for a grande latte? Anyways, still happy that we have a nice local coffee shop, but please keep the price reasonable for locals to support happily.“

“I love this place — the coffee is top quality, and you can grab a great lunch at the same time. They offer a nice variety of drinks and meals, whether you’re dining in or just stopping by. My favorite are the cappuccino and homemade cookies ✨️✨️✨️. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, the kind of spot you'd absolutely consider for a casual date or meet-up. Highly recommend!“

“This is a Coffee House owned and operated by a local resident family. Yes, I’m a past employee from when the Granola’s opened. If you want to buy local or just traveling through HMB this is a great ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ (5 Star) place for a quick snack, meal, read a book or work remotely awhile. I highly recommend the breakfast cookie or a bagel breakfast sandwich! Yes, the pour over coffee is my fav. If you’ve not been here before…. What are you waiting for?“

“I always stop at Sidewalk Juice Bar in SFO and get their Acai bowl. This is my favorite Acai bowl of all time. I also get their vanilla latte. They have a wide variety of juices, toasts, pastries, and snacks. I highly recommend Sidewalk Juice. They have outside-the-airport locations in Millbrae and San Francisco.“

“Excellent trip to Jamba Juice! Asked some questions to try a new drink, and Isabelle came through with a recommendation.
The store is very clean, well-maintained, and definitely my go-to Jamba location in the area, for the quality, environment, and staff.
Ask for Isabelle's help. She'll make sure to take great care of you!“

“I rarely leave food reviews, but this place deserves one. Fresh ingredients, tasted great, generous portions. Amazing value to boot. Handwritten thank you scribbled on the box, and easy ordering process.
If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Thanks for doing stuff the right way!“

“For those like me who care about the quality of ingredients and avoid unhealthy foods this place is great! No artificial additives, real milk and zero sugar options. And the large cup is actually large . I got jasmine tea with zero sugar and zero ice, 3 portions of red beans and 1 portion of boba“

“NEW in the Highlands: At last, our own boba tea joint and it’s awesome! RareTea took over the Hawaiian BBQ space, and it’s serving up Okinawa and Jasmine milk teas every bit as good as it is back in Taiwan 🇹🇼! Props to the owners braving COVID shutdown and having a go at their small business — from the looks on the little kids’ faces, we are glad and we will be back, often! 🥤 🌞 🇹🇼“

“Their thing is that they make their own boba from scratch here. It’s a bit different (their boba is clear and not black) and amazing
The tea was balanced and flavorful and you can customize your sweetness. Just make sure you taste test it before you leave. Some drinks are sweeter than you think while others are not.“
