“My first time experience here was amazing, my husband took us here on Valentine's Day and I was very impressed. I love how romantic and the vibe here was great! They had a DJ playing all the great old school hip hop. Their fixed course meal was amazing, more food than I expected, the servers were great even it was a busy night we still got checked on and if we edge doing fine, which is totally a big deal when it comes to customer service for me. I would love to try out their brunch one day !“

Bartender was real quick even as the bar started picking up.Cash only wouldn’t have been a problem if we could’ve started a tab by with our credit cards or IDs as collateral.“

“Nice long bar so theres a lot of space to chat, and a good selection of beers from various locations in California and nearby states including Moksa from Rocklin, Slice in Lincoln and other awesome breweries. They offer ales, sours, IPAs, stouts, wines and even got some in-house bottle options. When you leave you can pick up a 4 pack for your home. Service is good, and they offer some small bar snacks like pretzels and trail mix.“

“We are long time customers of City Pub and used to go more frequently when they had more menu selections. We understood a more limited menu during covid, but that limited menu has stuck. There's only so many burgers and grilled chicken sandwiches you can eat before you're bored. Beer selection remains good though even here some of the rotating taps have declined. What they have for food and bev are still strong, just wish there was more variety.“

“I have been Jonesin for for a lobster roll. I ordered the lobster and cheese sandwich, thinking it would be a grilled cheese with a dash of lobster. Boy, was I wrong! It has a generous helping of lobster, the right amount of cheese and perfect on sourdough! This went well with a black and tan, along with some delicious cheesy tots! This is a really nice, friendly pub and I will be back!!“

“Was in San Bruno on a Thursday evening and we ordered take out but wanted to hang out more so I looked up any bars or dive bars around. I called and asked if we can bring in outside food and I think the Irish Owner answered and he said yeah sure you can bring whatever you like. So we brought out Korean fried chicken close to around 9pm and pretty much had the whole place to ourselves in the beginning. He let us turn the lights on by the table and Christmas tree and we started with beers to go with our Korean fried chicken. And we later ordered shots. It looks like they have usuals that go there. They have a pool table and play pretty good music and it wasn’t so loud. There weren’t any other places open around it and it felt really safe, there was street parking right out front. So the best of both worlds to catch up and grab a drink with friends, plus for being able to bring outside food. The owner worker was so friendly and inviting.“

“This took me far too long to write, but I wanted to find the right words to say. My husband and I had been waiting two long years to get married. We postponed twice because of the pandemic and in the course of that time changed our venue to San Benito House. Let me tell you, that was the BEST decision we ever made. Not only is the venue itself incredibly beautiful and the food so delicious, but Kai and his staff bent over backwards for us and all of our guests. Kai is the ultimate hype guy and he took what normally would have been a stressful event to plan, and made it so easy and fun. I would (and will) recommend that anyone who is wanting a Half Moon Bay wedding, that this is the ultimate place to go. Our guests are still talking about the day and if we could, we’d do it 1000 times over just to experience the magic again. Thank you, thank you, thank you! To Kai and the incredible staff, you are truly THE BEST.“

“Our band, Drini & the Bad Kats Band, played at the venue for the first time last night. The entire staff, patrons and owner were great. Our friends loved the venue as well. I’ve been for Karaoke Nights several times and have always had a blast as well. The drinks are strong and delicious, just like I like em. Lots of space to move around too. 🤗🎤🎉“
