I especially appreciated this long, straight hair in ponytail person who took everyone's bespoke order so professionally and calmly though the line was so long that even I felt overwhelmed. I went back to the store for my 2nd, and the new person wasn't as wonderful as her though she did her job fine.”

“The Pit Stop at Morongo was decent overall. I’d put the food roughly on par with Denny’s, maybe a little better.

I ordered the Double Smashburger. It was definitely palatable, but the meat itself wasn’t particularly flavorful and didn’t really stand out. The highlights were actually the other items I tried. The bacon potato soup of the day was surprisingly tasty and probably the second-best thing I had. The clear winner was the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. It came out warm, gooey, and delicious—easily the best thing I ate that day.

Customer service was friendly, although service was somewhat slow and a few things were forgotten. In their defense, they were extremely busy, so I can understand why.

One thing I really like about Morongo is the variety of restaurants available. There are so many other places there that I want to try that I’ll probably work my way through those before coming back to the Pit Stop. That said, I did see a couple of items on the menu that I’d like to come back and try eventually.

Overall, the Pit Stop is perfectly fine for a casual meal, especially if you’re already at Morongo, but I wouldn’t specifically make a trip there just for the food. Definitely save room for the chocolate chip cookie and ice cream.”

We also ordered the chicken bowl with mac and cheese which is also good but they could add more mac and cheese to it to be as filling as the first one.

“We had another great experience at Good Times Restaurant inside Morongo Casino. This was actually our second time dining here, and once again, the service was excellent. The staff (Trish) was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a pleasant dining experience.

The portions are also generous and definitely good enough for two people to share, which is always a plus.

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the prime rib. Unfortunately, I found it a little bland and felt it could use more seasoning and flavor. That said, everything else was enjoyable, and we still had a good overall experience.

Since this was our second visit, I’d say that speaks for itself. We’d still come back and try other dishes! 😊”

“We were a group of 4, yesterday Monday 08.24. My wife and I have been here during the first few months of it opening. We were impressed and we have been recommending it to friends. It's the perfect place to be after shopping.
Yesterday Chris was our server. Between opportune intervals he passed by, not just to ask the perfunctory questions like, is everything OK. We truly appreciated his geniune friendly interaction. We talked about family matters, and he showed us photos. Of course, he knew their menu selection and offered good suggestions. Everything really is authentically Italian. Don't leave without ordering their gelato, freshly done in house. And Chris knows what Birba means (I studied in Italia and I asked him).

Lots of parking spaces, big enough store with lots of places to sit, friendly staff, hot food, good fountain drink station. Was just travelling as a tourist and sometime you always take the small lunch time stops with you, like this one. Recommended.”
