“This place is awesome!!! Their plate size for shrimp fried rice is huuuge and served fresh. ?? You’ll probably have more shrimp in a this plate than the shrimp pasta you had in Italian restaurants youve been to ? They gave me free donut and drink too! The staff is really nice and accommodating as well ?
Vegetarian options: They have variety of fruit selection and freshly made smoothies and shakes
Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp for wheelchairs“

“Second time coming to ZEF'S and will be planning on coming back for more brisket, burnt ends, tri-tip, pulled pork, and ribs soon. We got the platter and it easily had enough food to serve 4 for lunch with the sides and everything. Logan and the guys were friendly and made picking up the order an easy and worthwhile trip.“

“That’s what I’m talking about! This is some real serious BBQ. I had the two meat combo, which was pulled pork, brisket with mac & cheese, and baked beans. Let me tell you, I’m real picky when it comes to mac & cheese, and this was killer! The baked beans were awesome too. Full of flavor. It’s really hard to find a good barbecue nowadays, and I’m so happy that they are down the street from where I live.Favorite was the brisket ?“

“My husband and I have been here literally 5 times this week and the food never misses. The Breakfast is amazing, the dinner is out of this world. And the customer service is the best. The GM should be proud. It was such a pleasure dine here. Highly recommend the cream corn and if you go for breakfast do yourself the favor and get the biscuits.“

“I've been coming to Family Mongolian BBQ since I was a kid, and it’s still one of my favorite lunch spots. The customizable stir-fry concept means I always get exactly what I want—and after years of experimenting, I’ve perfected my go-to sauce combo: 1 curry, 1 ginger, 1 hot, 2 sweet, 2 BBQ, and 2 oil. For newcomers, it may take a little trial and error, but that’s half the fun.
The food is fresh, the flavors are bold, and the experience is as interactive as it is delicious. I usually come for lunch, which includes a small soup and one hearty plate of food—more than enough for a satisfying meal. For those with bigger appetites, dinner offers an all-you-can-eat option.
The service is always friendly, and the staff creates a welcoming, casual atmosphere. A fun little bonus? They have a cute robot server that brings dishes to your table—it’s a charming and modern touch that adds to the experience.
I also really enjoy their selection of imported beers. It’s a small detail, but sampling different options adds an extra layer of enjoyment to each visit.
If you’re looking for a tasty, relaxed spot where you can build your own perfect stir-fry and feel right at home, Family Mongolian BBQ is definitely worth checking out.“

“Definite go-to place for all-you-can-eat (ayce) K-BBQ in the valley. All around good food, service, and atmosphere, with authentic meat styles and side dishes. They even have some options for picky little kids [like mine]. Lee was very sweet and didn’t waste any time with any of our requests. Unlike other ayce places nearby who seem to slow down as your time limit nears. Also, legitimate Premium vs Standard menu where Standard has galbi and Premium has lobster as an example. Oh you have to try the basil/oil dipping sauce, super good with non-marinated meats! Coming back as soon as we can.“

“Decent all you can eat Korean BBQ in the valley. I ate the premium menu for about 35ish dollars per person and enjoyed the ribeye, brisket, and beef tongue. If you're picky about meat quality there's none all you can eat places in the valley, but this one is decent for all you can eat. I also like the clean and bright atmosphere“
“Awesome food and great selection in the market. Friendly staff!“

“GREAT chicken. Very crispy and not too heavy like some others out there. Me and my wife ordered 2 small 8 piece bone-in wings (Original Golden flavor), fries and coleslaw. The fries were some of the best I’ve had. Coleslaw was fresh & not too sweet.
My only two gripes with the food are: 1.the price) A little on the expensive end, as back home (Palmdale) we could get an eight piece combo with fries and a drink for the same price as just an 8 piece wings here alone (Korean place too). All good though, inflation hits everyone. Means we just will come here once in a while. And 2) you can only choose one marinade per wing set. Every wing spot I’ve been to allows you to do 1/2 one flavor and 1/2 another. Pretty standard practice, so I thought that was a little disappointing.
One more thing I should mention about the service: I wish the lady (she was Asian) would have suggested me and my wife share a medium (16 piece). It is cheaper to go that route if you both want the same flavor ($30.99) versus two smalls ($33.98). Would have saved us some money and been a nice gesture, but it’s hard to expect that when someone is running a business. Didn’t realize until after the fact.
Anyways, I’d recommend giving them a shot. Just note the things mentioned above before going, if they matter to you.“

“My daughter loves their cheeseburger and the chubby fries. Their turkey burger is yummy too. You can also call ahead to place your order and the guys working there are always nice and helpful.
The area can be pretty busy around the summer and weekends.
Parking can be headache but just be patient.“

“Honestly, if you’re looking for an affordable, and delicious Korean bbq place where you can stuff your face full of delicious meat, then this is the spot! It’s not traditional in the sense you get a buttload of sides, but the salad is delicious, the meat is high quality, and the service is beyond amazing!“

“Food was delicious. Bibimbap was awesome, as was the stir fried octopus. Flavors are great! The galbi portions on the galbi soup are very generous as well. However, overall a little pricey for the quantity and the atmosphere wasn’t very pleasant. There is no AC and the air is filled with the smoke from kbbq.“

“Me and my partner went here on a quiet Wednesday evening and it wasn't too busy so I can't say what it'll be like on weekends. We had the cheapest version of AYCE which came to about 70 dollars for 2 people.
We only ate brisket, bulgogi, and gelbi, and my gosh, they brought a lot by default, me and my husband was struggling by the second portion of bulgogi and gelbi but it was still really good.
Be aware there is a charge for 15 to 30 dollars depending on the wasted food you can't finish and you can't take home any leftovers which I find quite wasteful, since they'll just throw it away.
Me and my husband still had some leftovers but luckily they didn't charge us for it, maybe it wasn't too much leftover to charge us but it did teach us how much we can eat next time when we come here again! The ladies here were very nice!“

“Amazing food! Family owned for more than two decades. Never a drop off in quality. They’ve been a consistent fixture in SF Valley, which speaks volumes since it’s hardly recognizable even in the past 5 years since the pandemic! My favorite dish is the seafood combo with short ribs!“

“I went here on my dad’s birthday. I ordered a mixed greens salad and steamed broccoli for my sides. I ordered New York strip for the entree. I requested medium rare but it was medium well or well done. My brother ordered a different steak but medium rare. It came out medium well or well done. My dad’s steak was perfect. The cook needs more practice or something.“

“Brisket and ribs were perfectly tender. Smoke and seasoning was spot on. Kansas City's got nothing on Cuckoo's Nest BBQ. The mustard sauce needs to come in a jar ?.
Parking: Park on Mulholland and a short walk up the driveway.“
