There are classic, more commonly known Thai dishes, as well as lesser known dishes on the menu that provide a lovely variety.

I got the crispy pork with prik king & side of white rice, my boyfriend got the green curry fried rice, and we both got Thai iced teas. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back.“

While they’re a little on the pricier side (we paid about $30 for two people), I feel they’re worth the cost. They’re made fresh with quality ingredients, flavors are well balanced, and my leftovers kept really well.

“Sunlife’s Million Dollar Smoothie continues to be one of my favorite things ever. I think they’ve brought the price down a little since Covid?? (Or I’m delusional. It’s still pricey for a smoothie but utterly worth it.

The young woman working the counter in the Calabasas store when I went in to grab it was super friendly, authentically so, and was running things with efficiency and kindness. Really impressed.

“My wife and I live in Tarzana, and even though we have plenty of decent Mediterranean spots nearby, we always go out of our way to eat at Mediterranean Pita Grill. The outdoor seating area offers beautiful views of the hills, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

The food is consistently delicious and generous in portion. I usually go with the beef and chicken plate, and I’m always impressed with both the quantity and quality. The rice is cooked perfectly—not too soft, not too firm—and the meat is always tender, juicy, and full of flavor.

On top of that, the staff is generally polite and friendly. They’ve earned a forever customer in us.“

“We went for dinner with the family on a Tuesday night. The place has a high ceiling and is very open - much like an attic space. The counter at the front has a huge refrigerated case with nice looking pastries. We didn't try the pastries. We were seated and the waiter came quickly. She took our drink order and came back for our entree order right after. We all chose pasta. I had the bolognese tagliatelle. My husband had the plain red sauce. My husband reported that his pasta was great. Mine sauce was good but not great. It was soft and lacked depth, or character. The pasta itself was good, not the pasta. My main concern was the noise level. Granted, I'm not young, but the hard floors and high ceilings weren't softened by any soft covers, so it was deafening to me.“

“Redemption. I visited sharkys last month and didn't have a good experience. I put a review and to my surprise i ended speaking with one of the owners. I'm not the type to give establishments second chances yet when one of the owners reaches out to apologize then I decided to give it a go. I walked in today and was greeted with a smile. I placed my order and had a seat. My food was brought out to me and the clerk even took time to double check my order. I came back and began to try it... I feel as if the owner actually listened. Food was on point, employees were nice, even before they knew I was there for the 2nd chance. I applaud this company for acknowledging when someone has a bad experience and offers to make it right. “i have been eating here for 20 years..food is always good, hot and friendly people. Good if you work and only have 1/2 for lunch. Prices are more than fair. Highly recommend“

“The best Japanese food I ever had! So tasty, so much flavor and it melts in your mouth. Their house special Shibuya rolls are amazing. Crispy rice Spicy tuna to die for, scallops rolls - even a simple cucumber side dish was so tasty. My favorite Black Cod Miso - cooked to perfection! Everything was so fresh - you can feel the difference!

The place is small and the wait can be hour long. Plan accordingly but going early for dinner can reduce the wait time. Parking can be difficult but there is plenty of parking off the road.

Update: wait this time was longer because of weekend - over 2 hours! We just went to The Commons at Calabasas. The food was still super good!

PS: To cut wait time many people plan ahead. Go at 4:00 pm to add reservation at Shibuya, watch a movie and come back!“

“I do frequent this restaurant because the food is good. , But, it seems to be very difficult to get somebody to my table when I sit in front. Last night, geting water for the table took 15 minutes. And then when I'm trying to get somebody's attention, I noticed that the staff gathers around in front and talks together. I have no problem with staff being social but their first priority is to help patrons of the restaurant.“

“Pizza was great, I liked the charred pepperoni! A fav of mine ♥️ I dropped by while staying in Calabasas as it was super close to my hotel. Service was quick, friendly, and they got everything right, as well as making sure I received dinnerware. I actually travel with my own ? My salad was also great, nice ceasar dressing. “Being a pricey restaurant where the food is reliably very good, something was missing. The pasta dish arrived with cheese sprinkled on top. We were expecting that cheese to be freshly grated on the pasta by the server at the table, as we have experienced at other Italian restaurants.“
