There are classic, more commonly known Thai dishes, as well as lesser known dishes on the menu that provide a lovely variety.

I got the crispy pork with prik king & side of white rice, my boyfriend got the green curry fried rice, and we both got Thai iced teas. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back.“

“My wife and I live in Tarzana, and even though we have plenty of decent Mediterranean spots nearby, we always go out of our way to eat at Mediterranean Pita Grill. The outdoor seating area offers beautiful views of the hills, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

The food is consistently delicious and generous in portion. I usually go with the beef and chicken plate, and I’m always impressed with both the quantity and quality. The rice is cooked perfectly—not too soft, not too firm—and the meat is always tender, juicy, and full of flavor.

While they’re a little on the pricier side (we paid about $30 for two people), I feel they’re worth the cost. They’re made fresh with quality ingredients, flavors are well balanced, and my leftovers kept really well.

“We went for dinner with the family on a Tuesday night. The place has a high ceiling and is very open - much like an attic space. The counter at the front has a huge refrigerated case with nice looking pastries. We didn't try the pastries. We were seated and the waiter came quickly. She took our drink order and came back for our entree order right after. We all chose pasta. I had the bolognese tagliatelle. My husband had the plain red sauce. My husband reported that his pasta was great. Mine sauce was good but not great. It was soft and lacked depth, or character. The pasta itself was good, not the pasta. My main concern was the noise level. Granted, I'm not young, but the hard floors and high ceilings weren't softened by any soft covers, so it was deafening to me.“

“The sushi here is absolutely excellent, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can really taste the quality in every bite. It’s also such a great value for the price, which makes the experience even better. I especially recommend the vegetarian roll, which was delicious, and the salmon avocado roll, which was perfectly balanced and so satisfying. The specialty dishes are fantastic as well, the crispy tuna dish, in particular, was outstanding and full of flavor.
One detail I really noticed and appreciated was how beautifully they cut the avocado. It’s such a small thing, but it shows the level of care and attention that goes into every plate, making the presentation just as enjoyable as the taste.
I really like that there’s the option to order individual rolls from the menu, which I personally preferred. At the same time, they also offer really good lunch specials that are generous and worth checking out if you want a complete meal at a great price. We came here for dinner and everything exceeded expectations.
Another thing that stood out, aside from the food, was the care and attention from the chef. It’s clear that he pays attention to his customers and takes pride in making sure everyone has a great experience, which adds so much to the atmosphere. The service overall was warm, attentive, and friendly, making the evening even more enjoyable.
I also have to mention the ginger — it was excellent, fresh, and had just the right flavor, which I personally loved. It elevated the sushi perfectly and showed the thoughtfulness that goes into the small details here.
Overall, this restaurant is a real gem. From the fresh and delicious sushi to the beautifully cut avocado, the attentive chef, excellent service, and even the little touches like the quality ginger, everything came together to make it a memorable dining experience. “When we arrived a large party, with lots of noisy kids, were preparing to leave. However, it took them a while, so it was noisy and chaotic. But, when they left we really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the outdoor patio. You never believe you're sitting next to the very busy parking lot. Kevin was our waiter, again. He was very apologetic for the chaos and, as on previous occasions, very friendly and efficient. My friend wasn't hungry, so she only ate 1/2 of her 1/2 roasted beet salad. She did enjoy it and took the rest to go. I had my usual pasta with goat cheese and marinara sauce. I was hungry and ate my entire dish, whereas I normally take half to go. It was delicious, of course. Overall, we had a nice lunch and catch up. I'll be back.“

“The best Japanese food I ever had! So tasty, so much flavor and it melts in your mouth. Their house special Shibuya rolls are amazing. Crispy rice Spicy tuna to die for, scallops rolls - even a simple cucumber side dish was so tasty. My favorite Black Cod Miso - cooked to perfection! Everything was so fresh - you can feel the difference!

The place is small and the wait can be hour long. Plan accordingly but going early for dinner can reduce the wait time. Parking can be difficult but there is plenty of parking off the road.

Update: wait this time was longer because of weekend - over 2 hours! We just went to The Commons at Calabasas. The food was still super good!

PS: To cut wait time many people plan ahead. Go at 4:00 pm to add reservation at Shibuya, watch a movie and come back!“

“Being a pricey restaurant where the food is reliably very good, something was missing. The pasta dish arrived with cheese sprinkled on top. We were expecting that cheese to be freshly grated on the pasta by the server at the table, as we have experienced at other Italian restaurants.“
