“We celebrated my mom’s 90 th birthday last night at Ottavios. We have had prior celebrations in the past, 44 years ago we had our Wedding Rehearsal dinner there ! The back private room is so nice to have a dinner party! We were allowed to arrive early and decorate. All the staff were very attentive and friendly! The food was delicious and huge portions! The service was excellent! I highly recommend Ottavios if you are looking for the perfect dinner party location!“

“This hidden jem will not disappoint. The food is on point and deliciously fresh and tantalizing! They have a menu that fits every type of eater, including vegetarian selections and healthy tidbits. For those who love to indulge, mouth waters glasses of ice-cold milk shakes dipped in chocolate await you, with leftovers in the container and a spoon! There are waffles with maple syrup, Hawaiian pineapple chicken sandwiches, Serrano peppers mixed in with scrambled eggs, and kids menu items that can feed two very hungry preschools from a single plate. I always have leftovers. And to top it off, the prices are pretty reasonable, especially for the huge portion sizes. When you pull up, you may notice that the lines may be long, but don't let that hijack your food craving. Stop the car and come on in! They have a fast system, and it works like clock work. I don't know if it's because they are located at the airport where people traditionally need fast service? Or if they carry on the excellence, always model from it being an early military insulation moons and moons ago! But it works! You place your order before you're even seated and pay right away. Then you have many opportunities for seating. You can go outside and observe the plans and helicopters up close and personal on the top deck. Or there are several covered see through patios. Each is well heated and ventilated. Or you can snuggle inside in a booth or at a table with friends. You will find plenty of staff who check in on you, and are constantly on the move, providing exceptional, high quality customer service. It's a pleasant atmosphere for families, friends or individuals. You can even find a seat at the counter and watch the food service in action. So check out this community treasure whenever you're in Ventura County! You will not be disappointed but will find a home away from home.“

“I recently moved to Camarillo and tried this place for the first time this weekend. I'd driven by so many times but never knew it was there. Very small with limited seating inside. There is a nice patio with additional seating outside. I ordered Bánh mì with grilled chicken on a baguette. It was delicious and so reasonably priced. The sandwich was about $11 and lasted 2 meals. The other menu items looked amazing as well, but I'm going to have a hard time not ordering the Bánh mì every time. I will definitely frequent this place in the future.“

“Smells amazing when you walk in! This was my first time coming, but won't be my last. I've had Gelato in Italy and this was just as good! I had lemon curd pastashio and I understand why it was the one that was almost gone. Amazes balls! Dark chocolate was exactly what you would want if you love chocolate. My son had cookie monster and cherry chip. He loved his and finished my dark chocolate too. I will return before noon to try the affogato. Missing one star, because inside was extremely hot! No AC and not somewhere I'd go in the middle of summer.“

“Food is excellent - pricey but well worth the money. Overall service also excellent as you’d expect from a fine dining restaurant. Servers very attentive and courses are perfectly paced. We loved that it was fine dining but provided both an elegant atmosphere indoors and a more casual atmosphere out on the patio. The bruschetta and fried calamari appetizers were fantastic. So was the Chicken Marssla w/mash and Grilled Salmon w/risotto. But the Grilled Rack of Lamb w/mash and the Chilean Bass w/risotto were just unbelievable!! We will definitely go back!“

“This Italian restaurant, which opened about a year ago, exudes a lively atmosphere. The room is filled with the joyful chatter of patrons savoring authentic Italian cuisine.

Among their offerings, my absolute favorite is the FETTUCCINE ALFREDO with Shrimp. The sauce is simply delectable, complemented by perfectly cooked fettuccine. The addition of shrimp elevates the dish to an extraordinary level. I firmly believe that this dish is the best in class, and I make such a statement only when I’m certain.

My wife opted for the Cacio y Pepe Glutton-free option, which, while enjoyable, didn’t quite impress me. However, I insisted that she try my fettuccine Alfredo. To my delight, she was thoroughly impressed and expressed her desire to order it again.“

I tried the Blood Orange, Passion Fruit, Wild Berry, and pomegranate! I have tried cider all over the country…this is some of the best! Take-away options as well. Limited hours, but they say if you have a group they’ll do private tastings. I’ll be back!“

“Eaten here several times for breakfast. I usually get some sort of omelet with pancakes on the side and it is always very good. Serving staff is great; a consistent good place for breakfast if you can’t make up your mind. Always a good comfort spot for a celebration for my wife or I or if we are going through a bad time like failing a job interview“

I did a wine-tasting and the wines were all quite good, with grapes sourced in different regions, from Santa Barbara to Monterey County to Lodi. Would definitely return when in the area.“

“They had pretty good live music and a very large selection of drinks. The wine was good and I had one of their beers and it was very good. It wasn't too crowded but there probably just enough people there. It's not a large venue. They do have enough room for a dance floor and there were quite a few people dancing. Really nice place to just unwind and have a few drinks. I enjoyed it and would recommend it“

“We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon after purchasing a deal to try out several new breweries in a widespread area north of LA. We ordered a couple of beers and a most delicious jalapeño bacon artisan flatbread served piping hot from the oven. It was incredible. I also enjoyed the “brats & tots” that came with a generous serving of beer cheese and spicy mustard. Atmosphere was peaceful and comfortable and the owner that served us was very friendly. “I went in for the first time today and had the best customer service ever. I am not a big smoothie drinker but I went in to get one for my son and husband. My son has been many times and knew exactly what he wanted. The person working helped us figure out what to get and even made me a special tea that matched what I was looking for. “What a wonderful find in Camarillo. Finney's has a positive upbeat ambiance and a very hearty menu of delicious selectables. Jenna the Assistant General Manager came by and welcomed us to assist our amazing server Danielle. Jenna took our drink order and we both decided on the guava margarita 🍹 which was fantastic. We both ordered the chicken bowl with rice, Pico corn, cucumber, avocado and nothing but quality ingredients. Danielle brought out the dishes and was very kind, attentive and professional. Jenna was also quite a wonderful person and very professional, kind and friendly. Kudos to the tag team approach! The food was fresh and tasty and we will certainly be back. “The food was AMAZING! I've heard many reviews of people hyping it up saying it was amazing, it was great. I was hesitant to try because it was starting to sound too good to be true. I had the al pastor sopes and birria nachos, my husband had the birria tacos and nachos. The meats were perfect! Not dry or overly cooked. The seasoning was perfect! Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs when ordering because we could have shared the nachos. Nachos are a shareable size for 2. We will definitely be back as the food was perfection and service was quick. Little wait time.“

“My favorite fish taco in all of Ventura and Los Angeles County! There are a lot of other great menu options but I can’t help but order the world famous fish taco every time. They make their own salsas and special sauce, the tacos are large and a great value. They have half price tacos Monday-Thursday from 3-5pm and a happy hour Monday-Friday 3-6pm. The servers are attentive and so awesome, the restaurant is clean and it’s a great atmosphere. The patio is great and there are heaters for the cooler weather as well as a large table with the ability to have a fire.“
