“My favorite fish taco in all of Ventura and Los Angeles County! There are a lot of other great menu options but I can’t help but order the world famous fish taco every time. They make their own salsas and special sauce, the tacos are large and a great value. They have half price tacos Monday-Thursday from 3-5pm and a happy hour Monday-Friday 3-6pm. The servers are attentive and so awesome, the restaurant is clean and it’s a great atmosphere. The patio is great and there are heaters for the cooler weather as well as a large table with the ability to have a fire.“

“Latitude 34 is our favorite restaurant (not just in Camarillo). The food is fantastic (lobster bisque, filet mignon, halibut, salmon, ribeye, scallops, sesame ahi, Seabass, Brie chicken, filet mignon bites, chocolate cheesecake are some of our favorites). The servers and the rest of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.“

“This Italian restaurant, which opened about a year ago, exudes a lively atmosphere. The room is filled with the joyful chatter of patrons savoring authentic Italian cuisine.

Among their offerings, my absolute favorite is the FETTUCCINE ALFREDO with Shrimp. The sauce is simply delectable, complemented by perfectly cooked fettuccine. The addition of shrimp elevates the dish to an extraordinary level. I firmly believe that this dish is the best in class, and I make such a statement only when I’m certain.

My wife opted for the Cacio y Pepe Glutton-free option, which, while enjoyable, didn’t quite impress me. However, I insisted that she try my fettuccine Alfredo. To my delight, she was thoroughly impressed and expressed her desire to order it again.“

“I found this shop scanning GMaps. But as I was driving thru an industrial park I began to think they led me off course. So it’s where they do most of the mongering but they have a little shop that serves most of the people in the industrial parks and vicinity. It was funny, they called me out for it lol.

But the girl was super nice and helpful and led me to the Fish Tacos. Well worth it. Light bread in, good crisp and flavor. I would def come back but it’s a lunch spot for the locals. Don’t let that scare you away.“

“The absolute best carnitas I’ve ever had. We lived in Mexico for 15 years and ate plenty of carnitas but these are better than any we had there. Tortillas are made on the spot. Portions were big. Service was excellent. Best thing to say about a restaurant… can’t wait to go back.“

Been fortunate to eat in some of the best restaurants in the U.S. I would choose Otani’s Fried Teriyaki Snapper with double rice over any other meal that’s out there. “Lemmo's grill is a new find for me. What a great place! We were greeted and seated quickly. The food was fantastic and the service was perfect. Calamari was awesome and the marinara sauce that accompanied it was a wonderfully rich and complex. Ordered steak medium rare.....and it was medium rare. It was seasoned perfectly and delicious. The people may have been the best part. Family owned and operated the owners were present, helpful and extremely nice. if you are looking for a big chains and mediocre service and food. Give this place a shot. You will not be disappointed!“

Today we had one of the most amazing culinary experiences at Sister’s Asian Eatery. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service that set the tone for an incredible meal.

As vegans, it’s often a challenge to find places that cater thoughtfully to our dietary choices—but not here. Sister’s offers a variety of vegan options, and you can truly tell they care about how the dishes are prepared.

We started with the Vegetable Tom Kha, a coconut-based soup that was perfectly balanced—creamy, tangy, and aromatic, with fresh vegetables and just the right amount of spice.

The Vegan Panang Curry was a standout—rich, flavorful, and deeply comforting, with a velvety texture that paired beautifully with steamed rice.

We also tried the Soft Tofu Vegan Pad See Ew, a stir-fried noodle dish that hit all the right notes: savory, slightly sweet, with tender tofu and perfectly cooked flat noodles.

To top it all off, dessert was a dream—the classic Mango Sticky Rice. The mango was ripe and juicy, and the sweet coconut sticky rice was the perfect finish to a wonderful meal.

The warm and welcoming atmosphere, coupled with incredibly friendly and attentive staff, made me feel right at home. “10/08/2023... worst experience for breakfast. Food was bad, customer service was worse but even more terrible was the attitude given by the manager and waitress. Absolutely no F's were given. Waited over 30 minutes only to be told they were out of the menudo... on a Sunday at noon.“

“I only got to try them recently due to DoorDash and I have to say I like them way better than the snooty ones at Seafood. Their section is smaller but they are so generous with their portions. There's usually 2 ladies that work behind the counter and they know how to handle orders from the app, updating new items and removing those that are out vs the ones at Seafood are so dang clueless that they usually end up cancelling my orders. I do take my time to pickup the food so I know it'll be ready when I get there. I have returned countless times now, almost at a weekly basis, trying out different dishes and all have been delicious so far. The folks are friendly and take great care of packing the food ❤️“

“We've lived in the Suntree neighborhood in Newbury Park for 23 years, and have really enjoyed food from Sesame Inn (3327 Kimber) recently. \n\nSesame Inn was owned for a long time by Jennifer and Paul, but went through two changes of ownership once they retired. A new couple, Ling and Shao Yung, now own Sesame Inn, and have kept the original recipes. The restaurant is currently carry-out only. Ling handles the phone and Shao Yung runs the kitchen. They're delightful!\n\nWe've ordered most things on the menu (including the "secret" menu), but keep gravitating towards our favorites. We did so again this evening. Whenever we have out-of-town guests that have been here before, they always ask for carry-out from Sesame Inn.\n\n★★★★★ - 5 stars!“

“I try not to visit the big brand name juice places because there are lots of little ones that need attention. This is one of those small places play finally visited and I am glad I did. We have more than just juices here, but I settled for the mango papaya large size, but I should have settled for something smaller. It was too much for me but I did like it a lot. Service was good.“
