“I ordered online in store pick up. The ordering process was easy. The food was ready within 10 min of my order. It was a seamless process. I got the classic cheeseburger added pickles and grilled onions, the burger was really delicious, definitely on par if not above in-n-out. I also got a side of fries, the regular size order is large enough for 2. The fries were good, but fresh McDonalds fries are still my favorite.“

“This is probably the best In-N-Out we have been to. We are avid In-N-Out goers and this has the be the best we have been to. The food comes out quick, they seem to be very efficient. “1st time in an in-n-out burger being from the Midwest. It was a pretty good burger, I'm sure because I got it plain it detracts from what the whole experience of Animal Style I hear about is but I would say overall it's a great fast food burger buttery grilled buns, super melt cheese, and two thin (almost smash) patties doesn't get much better. The fries were also super fresh and hand cut right in the store. I got a chocolate shake as well. The only thing I didn't like was the paper straw it was served with, but the shake itself was good.“

“Food was absolutely delicious. Service felt like you were well taken care of. And the ambiance is very chilled and laid back with tvs of either random sports or other various shows, along with amazing artwork of various heroes. Not just military but firefighters and police officers. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and fries. They were all sold separately. But nonetheless they were all delicious. “Stopped in after work on a Friday for a drink and was pleasantly surprised. Friendly atmosphere, clean, good tv's for sports viewing. We had Zuchinni fries as a snack and they were crispy, flavorful, & the ranch dipping sauce was delish. You can always judge a place if their ranch is good or not. John our server was super cool and friendly. I was on the fence about ordering another glass of wine and he let me know they do half glasses, which was perfect. They serve breakfast on the weekends from 9-12 and we I'll for sure try it out. Nice to have a local sports bars in Vista!“

“Went there for the first time and can't wait to go back. We are from Denver and the bartender was awesome. The food was made correctly, not crunchy or burnt. I had the buffalo chicken fingers with fries. Not a big fan of crinkled fries but the spice on it made it tasty.“

They look just like the pictures and the meat is tasty and juicy. The prices are reasonable but on the higher side for burger and fries. Will go again for my $15 burger!“

The chef (owner?) brought out the breakfast burrito I ordered and made sure I had everything I needed. Honestly don't have much to compare it to but, it had great flavor and texture. “Brewery and restaurant in a large open space. Kid and dog friendly.Good parts of our visit:- Food was good. We had the blackened mahi tacos, which were delicious. Highly recommended. We also had the wagyu burger which was fine, but the selling point of the burger is the beef and any flavor of the beef was overwhelmed by the gruyere and gorgonzola cheese and a ton of arugula: I would recommend getting other burgers and not paying for the wagyu, as the flavor is hidden.- The waitstaff. We had Michelle, who was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and overall an excellent server. High marks.The weaker parts of our visit- The wait. We were seated quickly, but after that, service started to really lag. My guess is that they were down a server: there were two for a large space and, for instance, it took 10-15 minutes just to get our check and pay when we were ready to leave. Normal times might not have this issue.- The beer. It was...fine. I had a flight for CBC's own beers (a dark lager, a pale ale, an IPA, and a stout). None stood out. For those who aren't fans of current trends in double dry-hopping everything, this place can work, as the beers were all pretty mild, but none of the CBC-specific beer was particularly memorable or noteworthy. That said, they do have a massive beer selection from many different brewers, so this might just be what we tried.“

“I love little off the map beer and burger joints. The Red Rooster has one of the best burgers in town. Top it off with a really cold beer and you’ve got me! If you are expecting fancy… this is not the place. It does have a classic old bar atmosphere, and that is what makes it great.“

“Stopped here today for breakfast and my friend wanted to have lunch. I got the pancakes with scrambled eggs and potatoes, it was pretty good. My friend got an Impossible burger and subbed the fries with onion rings which she said was very good. She also got crispy green beans which it tried and were good. The one thing that bothered me the most was that when she went to put her green beans on a plate the bottom of the container has red cabbage stuffed in the bottom to make it look like it was filled with the green beans.These 2 meals with the tip came to $71.00!!!Restaurants are getting crazy with their prices. ?“

“As of April 2024, Rumors that the Vista store is going out of business is non existent! Daughter of owners just opened a store in San Diego down town area. I have a friend who drives from LaJolla to Vista for their chocolate & peanut butter malt.This is a very cool family restaurant thats been in business for 40 years. Very, very reasonable prices! Hot food or any kind of icecream, malts, banana splits... their menu is HUGE!“

“Amazing place. Top notch food. They were so nice too. We brought our dog (pug) and were able to sit outside. They were super patient with us as we figured out what we wanted. If you just want a nice place to get some breakfast - this is your go-to for the Oceanside/Carlsbad area. I wish we were native to the area so I can go more often!“

“Stopped by a couple weeks ago. Thought I was going to a restaurant but it's actually a food truck next to Black Plague Brewing. This is the epitome of don't judge a book by its cover. Simply put, I ate one of the best burgers I've ever had! Also ordered the Pulled Chicken Nachos, they were excellent. Fast, friendly service! A must try! “We stopped here for a late lunch after spending the morning at the beach. This was probably one of the highlights of the trip. The vibe is so chill and the restaurant is awesome you get an outdoor feeling even inside with the huge open patio. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly in making sure our family of 6 was set. The kids split some cheese pizza and lumpia that was fantastic and I had the beach BBQ pizza and lumpia with an anti matter ipa. This is definitely a come back kind of place so delicious so welcoming and so clean.“

“I love this place ! I have been a regular customer since the 80's The fish burrito, pastrami burger and Gyro are my amazing favorites. The Onion rings are to die for Best I have had anywhere. it's a no nonsense place no gimmicks just great food and affordable prices. The acai bowl for a healthy choice. They have a great selection of beer too. Inside and outside seating is comfortable. They don't wait on you have to go up to the counter to order and pick up. The food comes out fast too. although the have brought my food to me when they are not busy“

“Our family is in town for two weeks on a little vacation type trip. We have been here twice in the first few days. The food is so delicious. We have had the bbq burger, cosmo fries, the chicks (regular chicken tenders), hot dog, and all have been so good. We definitely recommend trying this place if you stop in at the windmill food hall. They are also listed for delivery on the delivery apps. The windmill food hall also has a little arcade type area which our kiddo really enjoyed.“

“We've been coming to Paul's Place for a few years now. We love the Paul's 1/2 pound combo. The burger is huge, could split it if you wanted. The fries are great as are the fried zucchini. We always drive through so haven't eaten inside. The make everything to order so it really not fast food but definitely worth the wait in the drive through. Burger looked on the small side at first, but was actually very thick and filling. Great toppings, sauces and buns. Second time I got the biscuit with pulled beef, also deceptively filling. “Got the old town hot dog and it was by far one of the best hot dogs I've ever had. Super tasty with the right amount of spice. The beer was good. Great atmosphere. Service was okay. “It's a Wendy's. It's has the things that all the Wendy's do. There is lots of parking. Wheelchair accessible parking and entrance. Restroom for customers. Like all fast food restaurants, set your expectations accordingly. Places round to eat for friends if they want something different. This one has a drive through and it is convenient to get to from the Freeway. A great stop in you need to be quick.“

“I picked up a bagel next door this morning and wanted to come back and try out the burger place. I came back during dinner time and it was packed. The bar was full and I wanted something more quiet. They put me in the outside seating area. The decor is very rustic and the music was all 80's rock. Perfect. I ordered the mushroom burger and my server recommended doing it with a double smash burger. I'm glad she did. The burger looked great along with the truffle fries. The fries were fantastic. Great flavor and the parm helped balance them. The bun had a sweetness to it and over all the flavors were on point. The server and staff were attentive and great. All around good visit and would definitely come back.“
