“This place consistently has good texture boba and well mixed teas. I am a frequent visitor and the person who takes orders generally remembers to ask if I want decaf if I forget to order it at night. I particularly enjoy the honey milk tea, the Thai tea, the taro milk tea, and the sesame milk tea. The black pearl milk tea is a good value if you want boba and don't have a particular flavor in mind as the price includes boba.

- This place remains consistent and a good value for the area. It is particularly cost effective to split a large between 2 people. I feel the amount of boba they give is generous, especially in the large.
- This place has fried snacks available.
- Their seating area and restroom is open again after closure during COVID.
- They have no changing table.“

“The matcha here is absolutely delicious. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients in their drinks, and I like how you can add extra shots of matcha if you prefer your drinks stronger. I really enjoyed the Banana Pudding Matcha Einspanner because the topping was delicious but didn't make the drink too sweet.

The seating area is small (around 3 tables) so this is a better place to get drinks to go rather than to sit at and hang out. Unfortunately there was no trash can inside the shop, so all the tables when we went were quite dirty as previous customers left their trash on the table. Not a huge problem, but definitely something to keep in mind if you plan on sitting in the shop.

Overall, this is one of the best matcha drinks I've had in the Bay Area, and I definitely will be coming back!“

Got the mango pomelo sago and was a classic good sago. A bit milky. Also the box shape made it very hard to eat in the end cuz the straw couldn’t get to the ingredients on the other side.

Nick was incredibly friendly and taught us about the ideal brewing times, tea quantities, and water ratios to make each drink. “The drink is good, but the boba is a bit tougher than I prefer. The main reason it loses a star is that there is absolutely nowhere to sit and enjoy your drink. There is a bar to stand by while waiting for your drink, but there are no chairs or tables. Pretty much you can get your drink and then leave. The surrounding area is also pretty bad to hang out in, it's just a parking lot and then a road that constantly has cars passing by at high speed, though that goes for all the stores in this area. However, the lack of seating makes this much more evident for this place in particular.“

“Cozy Tea Loft is a cute tea shop in West San Jose with a lot to offer. As a chocoholic, I'm especially pleased with the variety of cocoa drinks and with the fact that black (chocolate) cloud foam is an option. The crème brûlée in the Torched Series is also good. As far as toppings, I've only tried the Black Boba, and it was nice & chewy. A side note: as someone with a sweeter tooth, I found 80% to be optimal, so you might want to order a bit less than your usual for starting out.

As far as the interior, it is nicely decorated with some fun touches (how many tea shops have a claw machine?) But I think it could be made "cozier." I don't have issues or complaints with the service.

“I stopped in after grabbing a meal nearby, looking for any boba in the recent heatwave.
Let me tell you, I was in for a surprise and I didn't even know it.
Upon entering I was greeted by a comfortable and clean atmosphere and good music. To my surprise, just behind the glass on the counter was a worker actively making the fresh boba pearls!
Ordering the drinks went nicely and they had a very good selection of teas and flavors.
I opted for the simple and classic Brown Sugar Boba w/Fresh Milk, and it was one of cleanest, smoothest boba drinks I've ever had.
The owner was on site and she was very kind and generous by answering any questions and letting us sample her freshly made boba. She showed such passion for her craft and the business and it shows in the quality of the product provided.
The fresh boba she let me sample was absolutely delightful and had a flavor unlike any of the typical tapioca boba pearls you would find at your average boba shop.

Definitely suggest coming to Mr. Sun Tea and trying out their boba. A simple review can't begin to show the difference in taste and quality.

They have six locations in total and I will be visiting them regularly from now on. Officially my go-to boba spot.“

“I ordered exactly what the most recent reviewer ordered. The signature Alpine green tea with "jelly cake" which is called feng guo in the store. I like it a lot. The tea itself is very sweet, the jelly is almost tasteless, a bit fruity sweet, but very big, chewy, and slippery. The contrast between the two is fun. By the time I finished paying the drink was ready which I don't think ever happened to me in a boba place.“

“Place has comfortable sofas, so it's a nice place to relax but not an ideal place to get your work done. Go in order 2 Oolong teas from the Kiosk. Yes, they have a kiosk. The Oolong bamboo is refreshing but lacks sweetness. The Peach Oolong was nice, definitely order that one next time.“

“Tong Sui Desserts & Drinks in Sunnyvale offers an interesting take on traditional desserts, though it didn’t quite match my personal preferences.

Signature Dishes: Maybe it’s just me, but I didn’t love their tong sui signature dishes. As a huge coconut fan, I felt like the addition of flavors like strawberry or vanilla made it taste a bit too western for my liking, taking away from the authentic coconut flavor I enjoy. While the concept is creative, the execution didn’t quite hit the mark for me.

Pricing: The pricing definitely felt a bit high for what you get. While the desserts are decent, I don’t think they justify the cost, especially considering the size and flavor profile of the dishes.

I got the strawberry matcha with boba, oat milk and 25% sweetness (I generally go lower). it was honestly some of the best I've had! very smooth. great flavor and the 25% was in fact ever so lightly sweetened. “I got the Grass Jelly Roasted Milk tea. It tastes really good with a unique flavor. I got it with less sugar but it was still tasty and it's a large serving. I also like the addition of the jelly.I got the Passion Fruit 101 today and it tastes so good. I just want to keep drinking it. The boba and jellies are a nice addition. Usually, I don't like boba but the flavor in these were nice. It's tart and sweet, even though I chose 0% sugar.“

“Cute little corner Tong Sui store in one of the most popular strip malls in Milpitas, with ample parkings and chic green interior decoration! I fell in love with all the things this store has to offer!

One step inside the store and you feel instantly refreshed with their green and plant decorations. You can either order using the iPad or with the staff. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Our order came out in reasonable time.

I ordered the Golden Glow smoothies which was made from coconut and pineapples and their coconut pudding with durian. Both tasted amazingly!! The smoothies was refreshing and had the right amount of sweetness. The coconut pudding was light, melt in your mouth and matched perfectly with the rich durian!

Overall, highly recommend this cute corner Tong Sui place if you're ever in Milpitas :)“
