Amazing unique finds with Asian subtle flavors enhancing Italian classics! The espresso with taro latte was the perfect blend of sweet and earthy taro balanced with the espresso. I chose to try Hokkaido milk - which is a subtle chickpea blend without lactose and made in the Hokkaido style.

I love that the choices are already made friendly for those who may have allergies to gluten, dairy, or eggs.

Another note was the interesting food menu options! I had the adaptogenic mushroom gourmet toast — and it was so worth it! Amazing blend of umami and truffle and a tiny kick of spice.
The best part was I felt energized and focused for the rest of the day because of this great start to the day!“

The portuguese cheese and prosciutto sandwich was good but next time will not get it toasted as the cold cheese itself is wonderful! the Pasteis di nata are the best littleegg tarts as I found them to be a bit dry, but then again get another coffee! Owner was so friendly and the place adequate for being an older establishmen.“

“I really dig the vibe of Chromatic. It's in a big industrial warehouse-type space, and has a lot of space for seating and just enjoying your coffee and food. The space also has some cool merch, nice music, and various coffee table books on offer for you to read while you relax.

The staff were quite friendly, and the coffee and food was delicious. Can't really say I have any complaints. Cool coffee shop with a unique vibe. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the San Jose area!“

“I stopped in after grabbing a meal nearby, looking for any boba in the recent heatwave.
Let me tell you, I was in for a surprise and I didn't even know it.
Upon entering I was greeted by a comfortable and clean atmosphere and good music. To my surprise, just behind the glass on the counter was a worker actively making the fresh boba pearls!
Ordering the drinks went nicely and they had a very good selection of teas and flavors.
I opted for the simple and classic Brown Sugar Boba w/Fresh Milk, and it was one of cleanest, smoothest boba drinks I've ever had.
The owner was on site and she was very kind and generous by answering any questions and letting us sample her freshly made boba. She showed such passion for her craft and the business and it shows in the quality of the product provided.
The fresh boba she let me sample was absolutely delightful and had a flavor unlike any of the typical tapioca boba pearls you would find at your average boba shop.

Definitely suggest coming to Mr. Sun Tea and trying out their boba. A simple review can't begin to show the difference in taste and quality.

They have six locations in total and I will be visiting them regularly from now on. Officially my go-to boba spot.“

“My wife and I moved here after living in Latin America for years, and we were incredibly happy to discover an empanada shop that has such great flavors. Very authentic ingredients as well as some surprises like the Panzerotti. Their Mexican Mocha was also fantastic! Not overly sweet, which is so hard to find in a mocha. “Moderately expensive sandwich place with a Peet's coffee station in a different area of the cafe. Good varied selection to choose from. However note that they do not take cash! You pay using credit or debit card only. Also the paper receipt I got had faded ink so some places so be careful if u need it for business reimbursements. They give you an indicator which will light up when your order is ready and you have to come by to pick up your order. You can get free regular water from a fountain tap or buy the bottled water or other drinks. Sandwich I got was of moderate size and tasted fine. They have outdoor tables with overhead umbrellas to shade against the sun.“

“My nephew and I stopped by after visiting SCU yesterday. It was a perfect day to get boba so we came here

Prices are similar to any boba place but the owner or workers here were super nice.
We ordered gyoza, taro milk tea, and brown sugar milk tea. We didn't know the drinks already came with a boba and my nephew added boba to his drink thinking it didn't have it. The worker or maybe the owner, just super sized my nephew's drink.
We were happy they did that.
I like honesty and that was much appreciated.
Will definitely come again since i work nearby.“

“A true hidden gem in Mountain View. We love coming here for our Saturday morning bagel fix. The bagels are made in-house and have a fantastic texture, with some unique flavors like Swiss cheese, spinach, and jalapeño. Their homemade cream cheese is also a must-try. I'm a big fan of their Vietnamese coffee—it's got a unique blend that's unlike anywhere else. The place is simple but spotlessly clean, and the staff always wears masks. Just remember, there's no seating; it's takeout only.“

“I cannot recommend Caffino enough. I grew up near this stand and the new owners (2020ish) have done wonders to revive this stand. They repainted the stand and gave it a facelift and man it made a world of a difference. The coffee selection is immaculate and the pastries are delicious and always seem fresh. Not to mention the workers make you feel like family. They always welcome you with a warm smile, pay attention to your entire order, and never skip a beat. It is always my first stop when I come home to visit and will remain that way!!
