“Just got off work about 8:30 looking for a last minute dinner I saw this place though I'd try it. I will never order fish n chips from another place again! Instantly fell in love. Plates are reasonably priced, chill atmosphere, clean, & last but definitely not least the food was F'N BOMB!!!!! pardon the French but it's that good. If you're anywhere close to this fry joint (Within 100 miles)
or just passing though San Jose then this is a must on the itinerary. It was closing time when I. Arrived and they still hooked me up with a smile on their face.

“Wonderful Experience at Trails Pub in San Jose!

Trails Pub in San Jose is a gem that should not be missed. Whether you're looking for a delicious meal, a relaxed atmosphere, or a great selection of drinks, this place has it all. Nice beers on tap, loved the Smithwicks. My partner had Dragon's Slayer. We wanted to play darts, and you can just request darts from the amazing bartender.

“Ordered pickup so can't really comment on service or atmosphere aside from it was 10 mins from when I placed my order to when the food was ready so that was nice and just seeing the interior and parking lot when I stopped by. Plenty of parking and it has an hamburger joint vibe to it.

I ordered the Fish, Shrimp, Oyster, and Scallop combo. Probably my fault for not figuring out that it includes chips too since it was in the combo section but the fact that they don't specify it threw me off so I ended up ordering another small side of chips. Oops.

They included a container of cocktail sauce, tartar sauce, several packets of ketchup, and one of malt vinegar. Would have been nice to get some extra containers but I managed. Everything was tasty and the quality of their fry was excellent, moreso because I picked it up 10 mins after it was done and another 15 min drive home. The battering maintained it's crunchiness, which is great! My gripe here is with their chips. Generally I'm disappointed in this style of chips but they lacked enough salt, which really made them taste bland. On top of it they were cold by the time I ate, which is a bit surprising since everything else was still a good temperature.

I'll be back again, especially since they serve Mitchell's ice cream, which I somehow missed when I ordered online but will pass on getting any chips.“

“A good seafood joint/eatery in North San Jose. A lot of options are available here. The seating area, although indoors, is big enough for a fair number of people. A few tables are available. The service is speedy, and the staff are friendly. Parking is available in the nearby parking lot. Recommended.

“❣️❣️❣️Wow, the chips and the fish were just amazing. How is it that I just discovered this restaurant? I do love crunchy fish and it was very lightly battered, but it was very crunchy. It did have a lot of oil in it as I expected.
All in all it was what I was looking for and I got the fish and a new place for me to go and try more dishes next time.

The Cioppino looks amazing. I will need to bring my husband and family so that we can sit and enjoy the freshly cooked pasta and seafood.

My sister will really enjoy discovering this restaurant so yeah, I already told my families about it and we are planning to come back
