“We came here for the weekday lunch specials. Even though a lot of them were very tempting, the $11.95 Cajun pasta, $10.95 seafood po'boy with fries, I had to get the seafood boiler for my first time, but I definitely have my eye on the fried basket special for next time. The $14.99 seafood boiler includes your choice of 2 types of seafood, one side, and one can of soda. I recommend the mussels; they were huge. The garlic noodles were well-seasoned and a decent size for a side. The food came out fast and the service was friendly. They provide the necessities like gloves, bibs, mints, and mouthwash in the bathroom. The whole place was very comfy and less hectic than most seafood boiler places. They do have a decent selection of beer and soju though, and a cardboard cutout of Jennie.I saw on their napkin holder that they had a promotion going on: if you write a review for them, you can get free funnel fries or beignets.Since my mom is a big fan of funnel cakes, we went for the former. The fries format makes it so much easier to eat and it came with two scoops of ice cream. It came out hot and perfectly oily. The server was trusting enough to get it in the fryer for us before I finished typing this review.“
“At first coming in side we were not sure what to get but then we meet Ms Sindy here and she was very friendly and answer my questions about the menu and I ordered a BBQ bacon burger and for my boy a grilled chicken and some fries we love the food and the experience we had here I'm for sure recommend this place if you want a nice burger with fries“
“Had clam chowder and fish combo plate. Chowder was great as usual and server accommodated our request to add bacon bits to the soup. Fish (pollack) was flaky and tasty; big slice too.Parking: Street parking in front, lot in back. We were there at 4pm on Monday so plenty of spaces in front.“
“I go here once a week after work. I just picked up some fish and shrimp about 20 minutes ago. Im happy to say it was smacking!!!! Finally someone is not afraid to season their food!!! Im glad I still have some fries left. Im knocking those out after my nap! 5 stars!!!!“
“My wife and I enjoy eating at fish's wild for few years now. We live at the Markham apartments and really say that it's been one of the biggest perks of living there is the proximity to the restaurant. The restaurant itself is not fancy and customer service is definitely above average but nothing too wow factor. But the food is really outstanding and the portion sizes last a while. I get the chicken katsu there which is a mountain of fried chicken cutlets and the sauce is great. The also always prepare my food in under 10 minutes and I would sometimes call and walk there (4 minute walk) and when I arrive the food is ready. The price is good relative to the portion and not to mention that you get two large sides for all the plate entres. My wife raves on their baramudi fish and gets it weekly. I highly encourage people that want tasty food for a good price and timely service.“
“We had a very pleasant evening there playing darts and trivia, drinking and eating the shepherds pie, which was very good. It's a cozy place so don't go when it's crowded. It was a Thursday night so I recommend trying it on Thursdays. The bartender was very friendly.“
“You don't mind many places specializing in catfish (or souther fried fish) so when I found this place I had to try it! I didn't realize going in that it was a good truck, but I was planning on taking the food to go anyway. It was parked behind another restaurant and in a parking lot that I honestly almost missed the first time trying to find it. The staff was all really nice and friendly, they gave me extra sauce and helped me decide what to get. I really wanted to try the bacon bourbon cheese fries and catfish.. didn't realize the fish came with fries so I pretty much had double. They had thicker ridge cut fries and they were good! The bacon fries were so tasty!!! Lots of flavor and the sauce on top was totally worth ordering. You know the food was fresh too because it took a little while (but not an obsessive amount) of time to cook, and it was still hot when I got back to my hotel. The fish batter was crispy on the outside and the fish inside was flaky and buttery. Really well-done! Definitely would come back here, there was no wait either when I went so I got exactly what I wanted in a quick manner!“
“Great food and service, atmosphere is clean just old. Crunchiest and best tasting cod ive had in the bay area. Fries are good not super crispy could be better but the fish is tops. Chowder is delicious just like mama used to make. Calamari is good too very fresh.“
“Amazing staff and eats. We especially love Miles, one of the sweetest humans we’ve ever encountered. We’d be sure to return even if the halibut fish & chips weren’t great, which they were. Thanks for a fab experience and the happy energy!“
“After came home from London, I started to have some craving about fish and chips, searched for one near work in Sunnyvale and found this little place hiding in a corner of a shopping center.Went there for lunch and the place was empty on a Thursday, I think most people take out instead of eating in. I ordered a 2 piece for $14, and eat in because I wanted them hot and crispy. The order was made to order and they came out quite hot and crispy both fish and chips. They’re so good, no fishy smell, the fish was so white and tasty with vinegar and tartar sauce. Enjoy every bite just like fish and chips in London. The only thing that fell short is the chips. They’re crispy but not as rich and tasty as real fresh potato fries.Anyhow, it hit the spot and I liked it. Will come back here whenever I have a crave for fish and chips, glad it’s not too far from work.“
