“We have a family tradition of trying donut shops all around San Diego and on our travels. We have found that quality comes with independently owned places where the owners are artisans who make their donuts themselves and whose livelihood depends on their reliable product. Super donuts #2 is just such a place and our favorite donut shop in San Diego. Not fancy on the outside or inside, cash only. Just great donuts.“

“I'm long overdue writing a raving review of this donut shop. It had been a family favorite since 2008!
They always have the freshest of donuts and other pastries.
You are greeted by the friendly owner and family.
They have a well stocked fridge with everything from chocolate milk to Monster energy drinks
They are located next to the 7/11
It is a convenient pitstop for snacks or hearty jalapeno ham & cheese croissant. Close to the Inland Rail Trail for the cyclists among us.
They prefer payment with cash but card payment is accepted with a small fee.
They're open 7 days per week, closed on Holidays.

“Got a deal on their mini donuts, but they were from the night before. They were good, but they would have been better selling them at the end of the day the night before. I also bought extra fresh ones and they were yummy. Perfect 2 bite donuts, variety of flavors and they change daily. Service was good and it was in a good court with other vendors, which was a cool spot.“

“I've been looking for that one buttermilk old fashioned from my childhood from the bread man that drove around called the helm's truck when i was a kid, and Foster's donuts got it, finally lol!

“The man that was there was super friendly! I'm guessing it was the owner and his wife. I was kinda sad that they didnt have bagels but I tried the vanilla bean smoothie and it was super yummy. Would definitely go again. ??Also very clean!“

“I know it’s a chain but it feels like a welcoming little local spot. Prices are very reasonable which I feel is so rare these days, service is good and all the employees are friendly. We love coming here for bacon/sausage, egg, and cheese bagels/croissants and a few donuts.“

“Tiny donut shop in the middle of Carlsbad Village. Everything is fresh and delicious. My favorite donut in the world is their lemon pistachio old fashioned. Hubby loves the chocolate cake with coconut. They don't have fancy pastries, just really great donuts. Friendly counter service, best donuts in the area.“

“We were visiting the area and my kiddo wanted donuts. We stopped for some donuts and boy were they delicious! We got an apple fritter, strawberry buttermilk, pavlova, cookie and cream, chocolate, sprinkles, and the PB&J donut. If you want a fresh, delicious donut, this is your place. Only thing I wish they had was a bathroom. We wanted to wash our hands and they don't have a restroom. Other than that, everything was excellent.

“Been (im)patiently waiting for this to open...Parking can be tricky at peak lunch and dinner times but mostly it's great. Once you're in, the vibe is great. They have a little spot to take pics in front of a grass backdrop! Seating area was plenty too!The 3 flavors we tried were cookies and cream, strawberry and glazed. Each tasted great with the glazed being my favorite. The strawberry one was still good but it seemed like it was missing something. Cookies and cream were a little too sweet for me but if you like sweet or fixing for a sweet tooth, go for it!The service was great! She was so friendly, helpful and gave her personal recommendations. She seemed to like all of them but she was able be specific with flavors so it was super helpful!“
