“Celebratory engagement dinner for my son & now fiancé. The restaurant is small, but they accommodated our party of 22. They reserved the back portion of the restaurant for us. The service was 10/10, had a set menu due to the size of our party, but there was something on the menu for everyone. The owner came around 2-3 times & introduced himself, asked if everything was ok or if we needed anything & thanked us for choosing his restaurant. We cannot thank the owner & his staff for everything they did to help make this such a memorable dinner.“

“I showed up in the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday. Nobody there except my server who was very kind. I hung out for a bit waiting for my pizza and what followed was me wishing I had paid more for it! Holy smokes. I got it to go but took a bite when I got to my car. “We have been going to Heirloom Pizza a few times a year for a while now and have always enjoyed great food and good service. This was until last night. The food was still delicious and the server was good. That was the limit of a good experience. The hostess had a look that we were bothering her by wanting to eat there. We arrived about 7pm and they were busy, but it only took about 10 minutes to be seated. We ordered fairly quickly and then waited for over 50 minutes to have an appetizer to reach our table and another 25 minutes for our main dish. By the time we received our appetizer the restaurant had only 5-6 tables with people still sitting. We understand that it takes a little longer for a deep dish pizza, but well over an hour in unacceptable. In the 50 minutes we saw no less than a dozen or so orders go out the door for pickup orders. I understand they sell pizza and there is likely a large amount of business that doesn't come an stay to eat, but we felt forgotten. If we choose to go back, maybe we should order before arriving.“

“This is honestly the best pizza in Monterey, everything’s really balanced and it’s worth the price. I got the curry veggie pizza, it’s the perfect blend of Indian food and pizza! I don’t know how to explain to you in words how good this is. It put my faith back in pizza.

“I love and cherish and utterly miss this place.
Unfortunately we no longer live in CA, but much of our money was spent on Friday night Pizza My Way. We went in so often, the staff began to recognize us. We've dined in once and it was really pleasant, but we mainly ordered takeout. Our go-to is the chicken masterpiece, it just has a wonderful flavor profile and never felt heavy/greasy to eat.
We've tried other flavors, but nothing beats the masterpiece. I've attempted to make my own version at home; and I'd like to think I've gotten pretty good at it, but it's just not the same.

“Attention Mod pizza lovers, this is the same concept where they build a pizza in front of you, but the crust is even better because it is structured and yummy. Immediately upon stepping in, we were greeted with multiple hellos and welcome in’s- that always makes an experience better from the start! After they had put my pizza in the oven, I realized I hadn’t added the crushed garlic and I briefly mentioned it to my boyfriend next to me. The employee heard me and immediately offered to add it and insisted on it which was so kind. As for the pizza, it was delicious- I had a vegetarian pizza, the roasted broccoli topping is the best. The bathrooms were impeccable which made for an overall great experience (p.s. to the girls: there is no mirror!). One of the best parts was the design of the place, as well as the atmosphere. The tall ceiling and windows made the space roomy and “fresh”. The chill indie beachy guitar music made us feel like we were relaxing by the beach as we watched the sun set through the large windows. As for the seating, there are many option. My favorite were the booth tables because there was a comfy back rest (pictured) and were clean. Shout out to the 7pm crew for being friendly, hardworking, and overall great workers!“

Everything from the lasagna to the caesar salad and everything in between is awesome. They have a live band sometimes and have tiramisu Tuesdays! (Who could say no to free dessert)

“Great Sicilian pizza. Best I had in a long time. Italian sausage, just right amount of chilli. No cheese, no stuffed crust, authentic Italian. We ordered takeaway and even though they were busy, it was ready in 10 mins. Service was excellent, they threw in the ciabatta and virgin olive oil for free as they didn't have garlic bread. First time here, wish we lived here, but sadly just passing through.“

Slightly pricey for a burger but it was super good and i’d get it again. I’d recommend the blackened chicken sandwich the most!“
