Carnicería y Taquería El Rey is hands down my favorite spot for authentic Mexican food in the area! The flavors are unbeatable, and you can tell everything is made with care and tradition. The food in this cafe-shop is extremely tasty, you can buy raw or cooked meat to take away - you won't find better and tastier, the freshest, like nowhere else, 100% incomparable to what is sold in supermarkets. There is something to eat and buy to take away. The entrance is the first on the right, as you drive in from Auburn Boulevard, on Manzanita Avenue, and the exit is on either of these two streets, Auburn and Manzanita.
This is the perfect little Mexican place right on the corner. They sell a lot of pantry staples and candies. They also sell marinated meats and cuts but I haven't tried any of those. The burritos are great though and good service too. Very convenient
