“5-star alert! My wife surprised me with this delicious Tunisian restaurant on Father’s Day! It was like an exotic trip to Mediterranean North Africa. The servers were good and the owner was super friendly and helpful! We had prawns, fish, lamb, cauliflowers, and the infamous Hand of Fatima. Everything was delicious, with unique flavors and beautifully presented. The sauces were so unique and flavorful, we had 3 orders of bread as we want to enjoy more of the flavors in every dish!“

“I’ve seen this place since 2017 but never decided to eat here once I found out it was a Greek restaurant (at that point I thought they just served chopped up grilled chicken on top of bowls of salads with olives) but boy was I wrong.
The service is as good as the food, both magnificent. I finally came here because of LATryGuy on YouTube review in one of his YouTube channel shorts and when I saw the chicken I said “OH it’s like Dino’s Greek style chicken with the seasoning and lemon juice on the bed of fries at Dino’s restaurant) I tried both types of lemon garlic chicken meals at Maisons so far the regular and spicy (which it’s actually not that spicy at all) and they were good. The gyro is good too, I’m just disappointed they have not re-upped on the LEGENDARY LAMB CHOPS for months after the review. Next I have to try the shrimp pasta like LA TRY Guy reviewed he said it was a 10/10 for everything.“

When you need a Shawarma, World Famous Grill is here to deliver. The Shawarma was great and I tried the Chicken and The beef because of a confusion, at the end I won... They were both delicious and different. I'm still trying to know how the baklava was. It melt in my mouth. Next time, I will try it slower, but with the amazing taste, I doubt it will be possible.“

“It was lunch time on a Tuesday and no one was there. The neighboring establishments were busy so I decided to try this since I needed a quicker lunch to get back to a work meeting. It was not quick. That’s a “me” problem. But I was surprised it was 20 minutes for my one order. A bit overpriced for the basic format of the restaurant. Tasty food and the manager appeared to have a friendly relationship with a regular that came in which is normally a good sign.“

Standouts for me were the kafta kabob and the gyro meat. I was very impressed with the authenticity of the flavors and the loving care put into the preparation and the presentation. And, the accompanying baba ganoush was very fresh and tasty. David, the chef and owner (along with his wife) is very friendly and welcoming. “I visited The Hummus Factory in Manhattan Beach yesterday, craving some Lebanese food, and wow, I was blown away! The hummus is top-notch—easily one of the best I’ve ever had. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate, and the chicken was so juicy and flavorful. I also tried the gyro, and everything was just amazing. The pita was warm and soft, the salad fresh and crisp, and the lamb was perfectly marinated—it literally melted in my mouth.

My wife went for the Greek salad, and she couldn’t stop talking about how refreshing and light it was. If you're in the area and in the mood for some delicious Mediterranean food, this spot is a must-visit! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Manhattan Beach.“
