“This is a great spot for late night eats! The are open past 10pm, take Venmo or cash and are little pricey, but definitely worth it! You purchase inside the gate under the tent, then take your ticket to the food truck window. I got 5 tacos and a Pepino Agua Fresca and spent around $30. They did forget one of my tacos, so I had to go back for it, but they gladly made me very quickly and I was a happy camper. I got green sauce on mine and ate every single one of them. They were so delicious! There's lots of lights around the area and plenty of parking behind the truck, and in front of it. I can't wait to go back and try the burrito quesadilla and birria!“
“The best damn tacos in Oakland, full stop. Usually carne asada is a throwaway order, bland cardboard for white people (like me) who don't know anything about Mexican food (fortunately not like me). Not here. A friend who used to be a Michelin star chef proclaimed this the best carne asada he'd had outside of Mexico, and I agree wholeheartedly. And that's not where the show stops. Super legit pastor, fire fish tacos, solid vegetarian options, and don't skip the specials--I have yet to be let down. The brisket barbacoa especially is one of my top three tacos I've had in my entire life. Get the handmade flour tortillas, it's worth the extra money. And did I mention unlimited guacamole? Show me another place with unlimited guacamole. Not to mention the otherworldly salsa matcha. Don't sleep on this spot.“

“This place is in an old strip mall shopping center. It used be a salvadorian restaurant before and they were ok. This place is much better. The food tastes pretty good . The burritos are huge and the tacos are regular sized tortillas( not street taco sized) and they were loaded with meat. Customer service was good. There's really not much seating her but it's OK I always take it to go. They have good salsas and sliced cucumbers. They also have pickled onions with habeneros (which are delicious) and slice pickled jalapeños. I think this will be my new go to spot for Mexican food.Parking: Lots of parking here“

“One word to describe this place "WOW." The food was honestly beyond our expectations. We were looking for something near by to eat and we came across Pipirin. The order was ready within minutes from ordering. We order tortas and tacos of pierna, carnitas, birria and Lengua all meats where so good to say the least. This is a must try.“

“A few people in line ahead of me when arrived. My friend and I had looked at the menu and photos on Yelp ahead of time and honestly it didn't help. There were so many delicious looking items. Person at the window took my order, was super clear and precise. It took a bit of time to get our order. There were probably 6 orders ahead of ours, and it took maybe 10 minutes? It felt longer because it was cold outside lol thankfully there are tables. It wasn't loud, patrons are decently quiet. Just normal East Oakland traffic sounds. Everything I ordered was delicious. “Must Try! I went for the long awaited first time last week and I loved the place! I asked for 4 steak tacos with chips and guacamole to be divided into 2 to go bags and they cheerfully split the 1 order of chips and guacamole. They were busy and they worked together as a team getting the food out fast and a problem with the cash system working. It's a great family feel, with high quality ingredients. The best thing is the steak is so tasty!! I'm impressed with the from scratch guacamole, everything is very fresh. I noticed the tall rotisserie of marinated pork and I'm excited to try that this week!! It's such a great edition to The Glenview.“

As far as the franchise goes, this is one of my favorite locations because of its 24/7 hours of operation and the fact that they don't make me wait elsewhere to get my food when I order at the drive-thru like the Hayward location on Mission Blvd does.“
