“I have been going to River’s end restaurant for almost two decades and have always loved the experience. This time, I decided to stay a few days at the new Home collection lodging and the getaway was completely remarkable. I will make sure to come back more often in order to unplug and relax completely in this paradisiacal getaway.”

“My husband and I have decided this is the best bar ever. We met some locals who were gardening out front (literally gardening lol) and they made us want to go in immediately. Speaking of, if anyone knows the gardeners name we cannot remember for the life of us! Which may be due to the very strong drinks and amazing 90s dance pop music. We felt immediately at home, the bartenders were lovely, and we can’t wait to come back.”

“Great food and lots of it. It’s all good but my favorite is minestrone. Filled with veggies in a wonderful tomato broth. I always get at least one quart to go to eat throughout the week. Don’t forget the cookies”

“Cherie has brought her experience in interior design and with the fashion industry to this historical Lodge. Every room is high-end designed with personal outdoor jacuzzis and there is an adorable gift shop with reasonably priced goods. Rio Nido is quickly becoming a premier destination to suit vacation needs in the central Russian River. Rio Nido Lodge’s events are tastefully decorated and I am proud to own a home in Rio Nido nearby the Lodge after watching it be vacant and neglected for a handful of years.”

“We had a wonderful dinner at The Altamont last night. Everything was fresh and we finally had a meal that was worth paying for. Steak sandwich, Ruben (specials they were offering), pork sandwich and a kids cheese burger. We also shared a side of fries. We will definitely make the trip back out again soon to enjoy more of their offerings. Also the building is beautiful! Bonus that it is kid friendly!”

“First time visiting, the setting is beautiful! The food is good and not over priced like so many wineries are. My only complaint are the pickles you get with your sandwich: the skin on them is so tough I could barely bite it. Also it would be nice if napkin holders were on the tables rather than in only one location.
Overall though I would definitely go back. The staff members are exceptional!”

“Do not pass this place up if you drive through the area! The owner brought us a sample of her salmon chowder while we waited for our food. The chowder is absolutely AMAZING! She shared awesome conversation of how she came about her salmon chowder. Great, family style atmosphere! We can't wait to return!”

“Stopped by for some drinks before we hit the road. I liked my iced americano. The chai was nicely spiced but a bit watery. Service was fast. Unfortunately we were having trouble with service indoors and Venmo but luckily had cash.”

“Love the carnitas, I usually go to La Rosa for my Mexican food. But since prices went up, and compared their carnitas to la fogata. La fogata carnitas have way more flavor than la rosa, and again cheaper.”

“Had lunch at Jilly’s today and it was delicious. We had the Smash burger, fries, clam chowder, and Mac n cheese with brisket. All were very tasty. Staff was super friendly and efficient. We highly recommend it.”

“Never heard of this winery! It was complimentary tastings for party of a wine road event. Wines were good! Especially for the price point. Christine was great! They have a large picnic area right outside. You taste in part of a cave so it is on the cooler side. You might need a sweater in colder months. Please visit them if you're within range!”

“The food is amazing, and Jay is such a sweetheart. I tried to order a spicy level of four for my curry and he warned me about North Indian spice levels. So I settled on a three and I don’t think I’ll go above one or two again. North Indian food spicy is very spicy. And the ingredients he use sources himself and they’re very high-quality and so delicious. I highly recommend the homemade mango lassi, The yogurt is homemade. The masala Chia Is amazing. The samosas are excellent. If you haven’t dined here, do yourself a favor.”

“Went for live music and had amazing bbq’d burgers made on the grill in front of me. Friendly staff, great food, excellent music. They were knowledgeable and able to accommodate my celiac requirements. Highly recommend!”
