This time, I decided to stay a few days at the new Home collection lodging and the getaway was completely remarkable. I will make sure to come back more often in order to unplug and relax completely in this paradisiacal getaway.”

“We had a very nice experience at La Bodeguita Panino. The restaurant was very clean and tidy, and the fresh flowers on the tables were such a nice touch. Service was exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

I ordered the Insalate Chicken Breast & Red Beet, with grilled chicken, roasted red beets, walnuts, red onion, Gorgonzola, mixed greens, and homemade balsamic dressing. The salad was fresh, healthy, generously portioned, and beautifully presented. My only minor critiques were that the caramelized walnuts were a bit chewy and could have been cooked a little longer, and my salad initially arrived without the red beets. When I mentioned it, they promptly corrected the mistake.

For a drink, I made my own sparkling Arnold Palmer by combining their iced tea with a Sanpellegrino Limonata — delicious! 😊

The restaurant has a cheerful, casual atmosphere, and parking is easy right in front. Overall, a friendly little spot with fresh food and attentive service. We’d happily return.”

“We had a wonderful dinner at The Altamont last night. Everything was fresh and we finally had a meal that was worth paying for. Steak sandwich, Ruben (specials they were offering), pork sandwich and a kids cheese burger. We also shared a side of fries. We will definitely make the trip back out again soon to enjoy more of their offerings. Also the building is beautiful! Bonus that it is kid friendly!”

“Do not pass this place up if you drive through the area! The owner brought us a sample of her salmon chowder while we waited for our food. The chowder is absolutely AMAZING! She shared awesome conversation of how she came about her salmon chowder. Great, family style atmosphere! We can't wait to return!”

“I was really impressed with the deli and the vast selection that was offered. The best part is the outside seating area to me. I'm told the BLT sandwiches are really really really good. The salads looked like standout additions, delightfully prepared. An excellent place for a soda and bag of chips to grab while you explore guerneville if you just want to lay back in a woodsy retreat.”

“Cherie has brought her experience in interior design and with the fashion industry to this historical Lodge. Every room is high-end designed with personal outdoor jacuzzis and there is an adorable gift shop with reasonably priced goods. Rio Nido is quickly becoming a premier destination to suit vacation needs in the central Russian River. Rio Nido Lodge’s events are tastefully decorated and I am proud to own a home in Rio Nido nearby the Lodge after watching it be vacant and neglected for a handful of years.”

“Love the carnitas, I usually go to La Rosa for my Mexican food. But since prices went up, and compared their carnitas to la fogata. La fogata carnitas have way more flavor than la rosa, and again cheaper.”

“Never heard of this winery! It was complimentary tastings for party of a wine road event. Wines were good! Especially for the price point. Christine was great! They have a large picnic area right outside. You taste in part of a cave so it is on the cooler side. You might need a sweater in colder months. Please visit them if you're within range!”

“I always enjoy my time at the Jenner inn. The tree house cottage was the perfect, private space for a night of relaxation. The room has 1 queen bed a Kitchenette with a sink, mini fridge and microwave. Satellite Tv and WiFi. Looking forward to my next stay.”
