“The service was great! Little hiccups with woman at front desk. That person seems to be a little nit picky with customers and staff. Come to find out she's a manager. It really sets the tone for the employees but the employees seem to overcome and are really customer focused! We love Cassandra and Deanna, and especially the woman who replenishes the food. They are always pleasant and prioritize customer and cleanliness.

Parking: There were construction guys and landscapers blocking entrance. We tried to wait and they gave us a look and waved us on like we were being unreasonable for waiting. What egos!

“Would recommend! Our 1st time here, for our 46th anniversary, and we tried the Akitaca special. The food was Great, very tasty, and you get quite a bit. Our Waiter Keenan was very attentive, and the restaurant was very clean. The only downer was that the music was a little loud for us (we were the oldest diners) and a little profane, so we won't be bringing the grandkids when we come again, but the food was awesome!“

The shrimp quesadilla was filled with the best beer battered shrimp I've ever had. I wanted the camaron da pilar, but they were out. I'll go back just for that. The pictures from the menu pale in comparison to the actual quality of the food. Do yourself a favor and go enjoy their shrimp, calamari and fish; anyway they serve it it is stellar!!!“

“I always come here to get their mixed seafood salad that comes with ceviche fish, shrimp, squid, octopus, tomatoes, avocados, cilantro, onions, jalapenos and lime. I love that it comes in a takeout tray and the price is very reasonable. Super delicious ?? I always eat my ceviche with tostadas. I like their selection of spicy habanero hot sauce at the tables.? The horchata drinks are super refreshing and delicious. It's not watered down, you can taste the cinnamon, rice and sugar.“

“Food is excellent especially when looking for seafood. Since this is a food truck, the only seating is outside so we recommend either pick up or when the outdoor weather is good. The shrimp cocktail variations were excellent and the mix of tacos we tried were also very good. We have also used calling ahead and picking up the order and had no issues with our order. The only thing is the waitresses they have, so many of them yet, they lack to come to the table and ask to check on there customers. I could see them all bunched up talking about there personal stuff. And it wasn’t one or two times. The customer service is poor. But the food is authentic and amazing! Props for the owner and cooks!“

“This restaurant is always clean and the service is great. Chips and salsa are put on your table right away. After ordering your food you won't have to wait long before your food arrives. The food always has wonderful flavor. Some of my personal favorites here are chicken burritos, enchiladas, chiles rellenos, root beer, beans and rice. They serve beer. The sodas are Pepsi products! The only negative thing I can think of is sometimes it's loud. This is not the employees fault, but some customers talk and laugh and the sound seems to stay among the tables, maybe it has something to do with the building, ceiling, or ventilation, I'm not sure.“

I looked over the menu fully intending to get the prime rib. I must say it was a little underwhelmed by the available side dishes. I ordered the prime rib with a side of steak fries and beans. The prime rib was good but nothing I would sing praises about and there was way too much pepper in the beans. When I asked my friend who recommended this establishment they said the prime rib used to be a lot better. I guess I must have tried it too late. All in all it was good but not great.“
