“Before traveling to L.A. I googled best places to eat. Tacos LA Carreta was one of the suggestions. So after a full day of activities we decided to give it a try. Thank goodness we did! Best Tortas and tacos I ever had!! We will definitely make this a go-to for sure.“
“The food is SO GOOD!We came around 5:30pm on a Thursday, and there was no wait. The service was excellent and the food was amazing! Our eyes were bigger than our stomach, so we ordered more than enough food, but we had no regret!Highly recommend the bolognese pappardelle! Do not think of this pasta as of the regular bolognese pasta! It is not a red sauce based but cooked with a 200-year old family recipe! White sauce with ground meat and peas. It was divine! I would definitely order it again and again! The fungi pizza was also delicious! Came with six good sized slices. I loved the mixed mushrooms and the cheese! Good to share or enjoy on your own! Please do note that the restaurant serves pesto bread when you sit down. Be mindful of the large amount of food if you are not hungry hungry. We came hungry (normal hungry haha) but an anti plus two entrees filled us up quick, and we had to take about half of our food home.Three items plus two drinks came to be around $110 with taxes and tips. Given the quality and amount of food, it was well worth it! We will definitely come back!Oh so yes it is cash only. Bring cash or use the ATM inside :)Parking: Private lot at the street mall.“
“Everything Made Fresh, The carnitas & chicharrones are my fave? Everything is Delicious Y las Micheladas Sheeesh ?? mouth watering Good??, An Those fresh warm frijolitos refritos with them tortillas hechas a mano ?? i can go on With all the Great food they Have Highly “
“Having been a loyal patron for years, I can confidently say that not only does this taco truck serve delicious food, but the staff is always incredibly nice and welcoming. Whether it's my go-to asada burrito or trying something new from their menu, the quality and service remain consistently excellent. I love it!“
“Best churros of all, borderline Whittier and La HabraEven as being hot out of the deep fryer and burning myself off every bit , their churros are on pointHow they make them !!!!!!Recommend them if you’re around the La Habra and Whittier area or any neighboring city near by“
“It's great. Price of food was not posted but I'd say it's good value. I would have bought more types of food, but was scared of high prices. I bought 3 things, and it fed 3 people. I wish I tried the clam chowder. Calamari was about 10 bucks. Great value.Lobster roll was about 20 bucks. Good value.Large Mac and cheese with lobster is 20 bucks. Ok value.“
“I've lived in SoCal all my life so I've had my fair share of taquerias & taco trucks and this place is my fav! Prices are reasonable, food always comes out fresh and hot, salsas are delicious and actually spicy, and service is fantastic! They're parked in front of a park so there's plenty of parking. Asada, pastor, and lengua are my go to meats. Be sure to ask for carrots and grilled onions!“
“They have several different options to chose from drink wise and a full menu that I will certainly be going back, and trying. There's plenty of people in line, coming and going. I could tell this place is popular among its locals and has a solid backing from its customers. There's room to stand and wait, and it's easy to pull in and park. Quiet part of town, so it's a peaceful area.“
“My boyfriend and I were in Huntington Beach for Labor Day weekend and before leaving we searched Apple Maps for a taco truck. This one was the first one that popped up & we went for it seeing that they had 4.5 stars on Yelp! Let me tell you, soooooo good! We happened to go on Taco Tuesday so they had a 5 for $5 special on the tacos! They're regularly $1.50 each which is still super cheap. They were amazing and will definitely be back when in the area! Service was great too!“
“Ordered 6 tacos total around noon time.Waited about 5 minutes for the food come out.Host taking the order was very courteous and very informative of all salsa selections available in their format. They also ask if you'd like salt upon wrapping up the order which is pretty cost effective. The flavors of asada 4/5Al pastor 3/5 Quesabirria taco 3/5Cabeza 3/5 (bit greasy)Packaging 5/5Pricing is fair about 2.25 per TacoSpicy salsa is really hot! I'd recommend going 1 tier lower to truly appreciate the meats more. Will be back some time to try their other protein options.“
“This is one of 3 reviews, that will have the same introduction! I decided to do my own version of a "taco crawl" and tested out 3 taco trucks I've driven by and have been wanting to try out! All 3 are in the SGV, and I'm SO glad to have tried them! El Pastorcito Taco II is outside of the Arcadia Park off Santa Anita Ave & just south of Huntington Drive. Based on the name, Al Pastor is their specialty, so naturally I picked out the Al Pastor taco! With a smokey flavor, onions & cilantro and a nicely sliced piece of pineapple topping the taco, it was worth the $2.50 it cost, and was rich in taste! Staff here were friendly, though it wasn't a super busy weekday evening. No seating here, which is totally fine, and it is by a big parking lot, so plan ahead to eat in your car, especially since you want to eat it hot & fresh! No worries though, everything comes on a Styrofoam tray, works great! A decent variety of other items on their menu as well - definitely a go-to when I want to get some legit al pastor tacos!“
“Wish I lived closer to have Carmen's be my daily coffee stop. I can't stop thinking about the banana foster latte I had. Toasted butter and real banana no artificial flavoring or syrups. My next try will be the eggnog latte if I can make it before the season's over. I also hear my friends talking about the strawberry latte. Can't go wrong“
“As someone from San Diego I always claimed our tacos are better but this food truck changed my mind. This is the best food truck for tacos and they are super affordable. every time I'm in LA I will make sure to drive down to Long Beach just to get to them fireeeee!“
“Who doesn't love cupcakes!? While out and about, I came across Coco’s Lip Smacking Cupcakes. The sign said it all for me and I had to check it out. When I entered, the space was very clean, organized, and just very appealing to the eye. The aesthetic was very cute and definitely my vibe. They offer a bunch of different yummies including cookies, cake, cobbler, and of course, cupcakes. The lady was very sweet and helpful. I went with a dozen cupcakes. I got a variety of different flavors. I got red velvet, chocolate, vanilla, cookies & cream, and a few others. The cupcakes were so good!! The cake part was very moist and the frosting just melted in your mouth. It wasn't heavy or too sweet. If I'm in the area, I'll have to pick up some more! Thank you for a great experience!! “
“The beef ribs and the carne asada tacos are amazing. The tortillas are fresh and the meat is well seasoned. They grill everything right in front of you, and the smell is amazing. Well worth the price for the amount of amazing food you get. The people are also super friendly and will give you recommendations if you’re stuck on what to pick. I always recommend this place to anyone looking for street tacos.Parking: Be kind and park out of the way of flowing traffic. People pile up on the merging lane to Washington. Find a safe place to park and walk.“
“This review is long overdue, and I hesitated to write it. Tacos El Panzas is my husband's and my all-time favorite. I selfishly wish we could keep it our little secret. It's truly something special. Forget fancy decor and trendy vibes - this no-frills gem serves up the most incredible Mexican food from their truck. Their carne asada, pollo tacos, and mulitas are simply unmatched. Don't miss out!“
“I highly recommend. This is a great taco business. It is located on a corner and there is a several parking spaces belonging to the building they're parked in front of, very convenient. There is no seating area but they have a self serve table full of salsas and toppings to prep as you need. The lady taking the order is very friendly, very patient, that is very important to me. The tacos are small in size but the amount of meat inside the taco is decent. I recommend the buche, suadero, lengua and they used to have tripa but i was told it was not selling as much so they took it off the menu unfortunately. I've had their nachos and they fry their own tortilla chips and it's very delicious. This is definitely my new taco spot.“
“I do not know you, have never ate their.I read on the news your kindness in helping an elderly woman being attacked and robbed. You were badly hurt trying to help a stranger. I wish we had more people like you!!Get well soon, and God Bless.Floyd“
“Luis and the cook was very polite taking my order,He and the cook has very good customer service,The food was very delicious 10\10 definitely coming back again and getting everything on the menu! Tacos dorado's was bomb tostada Mixta was bomb ? ? ? ?“
“I am not a food truck fan in general. Maybe two or three times a year I go to one, but it was raining and cold and there was one at the front door so tonight was Food Truck Night, and an overcooked, overpriced burger with too many fries would be just fine.SO WHAT A THRILL TO DISCOVER ITALIA ON THE ROAD instead. The tastiest lasagna I have ever had, with a fresh salad I was too full to eat.The bread and chocolate chip canolis, which I did have time for, were good enough to write about. So I am. Wonderful dinner.Equally important if not more so, ANGELO and SOLENT, the Truck's partners in life and lasagna, were so kind and warm and genuine that my dinner experience soared to really special heightsThey are cover-model captivating, both of them; without a touch of conceit. The food tonight was exceptional, and my experience unparalleled , .in that great way when life occasionally makes the ordinary extraordinaryPeople worth knowing, food worth tasting, and a small business worth supporting. ITALIA ON THE ROAD.Dinner is served (see photo).Buon appetito.“
“This restaurant is the real deal!! We had the asada, chicharron and Chorizo w/ papa's gorditas. ALL OF THEM WERE AMAZING. We wanted to try more put they were so filling we are will have to make a return trip soon. The service is excellent as well, kind & friendly staff. There is enough seating for 30+ people but I can see this place filling up once the word gets out.A must try in Norwalk for fresh delicious Mexican food.“
“Went around 8 pm. Wasn't busy at all, pretty lonely honestly. We found parking right away (it's street parking). What felt like 10-15 minutes after ordering we received our order. If we talk about presentation... from what I saw on Instagram honestly it disappointed me. But tasty wise, it was good. The best I've had? No but it was good. I would go back again. The papas preparadas were the best out of the three items we ordered.“
“The churros were delicious and mine were made fresh to order. They came out fresh and hot and had the perfect amount of sugar and cinnamon. I got lechera which condensed milk drizzled on top and strawberry glaze on top. Definitely recommend this place if you are in the area and looking for churros.“
“Holy moly that red sauce is UNREASONABLY spicy. I love it. Pastor was juicy, flavorful, and tender, even only 30 minutes before closing. That’s quality. This is a MUST try taco truck for sure. Also side note: they put cilantro and onion in the quesadillas, and they also give you lime with it!“
“A hot summer day in Chicago doesn't tend to scream "birria tacos!" and yet I found myself eating at Chela's with a friend. The establishment looks small outside (there is definitely limited parking shared with a Subway sandwich shop) but there is a lot of seating. The service was great- the waitress was very attentive and the cashier was very nice. There are complimentary tostadas and sauce brought to the table and the birria tacos are fantastic! Multiple salsas are provided, but the tacos are spicy themselves. Highly recommend trying them out.“
“Did you say mariscos food truck?! They have all your marisco needs, so many good choices, look at their menu. Been here a couple times, both times were a success! Here are a few pictures from our last order. Great customer service, delicious food, happy stomach! LoL! They have a bar right across the way that sells soda/beer so it's convenient if you're looking to grab something to drink right away. They do have a few tables where you can sit down and eat if you would like to eat there. Will definitely come back.“
“**This is for the catering service (me as a guest).Office building used them for their tenant Christmas luncheon. Food was good, service was excellent, atmosphere was work place patio so—ya know.Office offered both savory and sweet crapes but I only had banana/Nutella crapes. They offered lemonade, coffee, water for drink. It was free for us so I don’t know the price but I enjoyed it ✌️“
“I love this place. The tejuino is really good. Authentic taste. They have all sorts of other snack options. I really like the family run business. I've never had a problem with parking. They don't open on rainy days. Follow them on the gram too! It's an open air location there is limited seating.“
“The food is so delicious. We had the arrachera in tacos, a burrito, and on the potato plate and every bit of it was amazing. The tortillas (both corn and flour) were hand made and fresh. On top of that the the salsas offered were sooooo good. We will definitely return for the food, and customer service. FYI, they are cash and Zelle only. No cards.“
“All the tacos here are very decent, in spite of not having torillas a la mano. The Suadero tacos are straight FIRE!! They have three different sauces to choose from and offer grilled onions, which is a plus. The service is good, and the cooks are on their game, serving those orders out fast.“
“Oh man... authentic pizza dough and high quality ingredients rolled by hand. That Wisconsin Mozzarella cheese definitely adds that wow factor. When you bite into it, it melts in your mouth while providing that impressive quality cheese flavor. Options range from jalepeno, NY 3 cheese, pepperoni, j*** chicken, and classic mozzarella. I've now tried 3, looking forward to doing the jalepeno one next. A handheld pizza you can walk around with... it doesn't get much better than that. I found them where all the food trucks line up across from LACMA during lunch hours.“
“I was there around 2p on a rainy day after a Home Depot run. And they have a small menu that consisted mainly of seafood. I ordered a campechana chica and 1 taco de birria. The campechana was $13 or $13.50 and the taco was $2 or $2.50 (I paid a total of $15.50 for both). Both people inside the truck were very friendly and patient. The birria taco had 2 tortillas and delicious meat inside. It was a good size. The inside tortilla was soggy and falling apart but the exterior tortilla was super crunchy on one side and softer on the other one, giving it the perfect crunch. It was so yummylicious that I didn't even put salsa on it (a first for me). The campechana was a good size for a small, and decent taste, and they added imitation crab (jaiba) which not many campechanas I've had do. And since I'm not a fan, it was a bit of a bummer. Decent amount of shrimp, but wish it had more pulpo & veggies; it's understandable for the price though. It also came accompany with both tostadas and saltine crackers and 2 type of salsas. If I'm ever in the area, I'll order the shrimp cocktail instead and more of those birria tacos that have been living rent-free in my head since a few days ago. ?Parking: There's free street parking“
“Been to la Fortuna a couple times and it does not dissapoint. I normally go late at night after work and it hits the spot. They have a variety of meats to choose from and I've tried them all. I like that I'm allowed to have an open tab "cuenta abierta" and keep on ordering tacos. I would say my favorite meats are : cesina, cabeza, asada, suadero, and tripa. I love all their salsas too, they have two greens and one red.(the best is the light green salsa). These tacos melt in your mouth and are the perfect bite size. Give them a try.“
“The quesabirria was bomb!!! I got all 3 salsas and each of them complimented the food so well and was spicy just as should be. Birria was soft and flavorful. My favorite is that the tortillas tasted like they're made from scratch, either that or they buy some bomb ass authentic tortillas.Bite into it and it's crunchy, could honestly use a lil extra cheese but that's just me, and then the juicy carne with the consomé and salsa... omg fireee! Literally!! Highly highly recommend! As far as the service, it was average but not in a bad way.“
“The chicken strips are amazing, the chicken sandwich are amazing. I've had so far the hot honey, mild, and original. I would say that the hot honey would be the best, still need to try the other flavors. The mild was ok, it was more of the seasoning instead of a sauce which was kind of disappointing, but still enjoyable. The fries were decent, but to be fair it would've been better if I would've eaten the fries then and there instead of waiting to get home. Overall, the service is great, I ordered online and as soon as I got there it was ready for pickup. Great vegan chicken spot!“
“The tacos, yes! They are just as good as they look on on yelp my only con but something that could be a personal taste is that the tripa is cut too big. But the potato is to live for. Well mixed, cheesy, buttery and a nice portion of meat. Oh and amazing selection of salsas.“
“This is my go to spot on Taco Tuesday and a couple other days a week if I can afford it. Even though all goods are purchased at an all time high and wages being stagnant, I by a bunch of tacos and hum when I devour them. No Taco truck brings me into heaven when I eat these al pastor tacos. When I undulge into 6 al pastor tacos there is nothing but peace and tranquility as I take each bite. My children live it too. The young lady that takes the orders is super nice along with (I believe) the owner. I get a kick out of the guy that takes my order he just seems so happy he bounces up and down and says your total will be ONLY....(then the price). That tickles my tummy to death The lady will totally have a conversation with my kids. To me that is service because not only do my kids feel heard and my order gets placed.... I get good tacos to eat. I appreciate this Taco truck and the folks working as hard as they do to provide food and good service.Parking: The location is at an autoshop on pch and atlantic... there is decent street parking.Kid-friendliness: The lady that took my order was great to my kidsWheelchair accessibility: It's flat terrain“
“I have an obsession with their tripas tacos. The crunch with the spicy salsa, the soft warm tortilla and the refreshing radish bite after..i meannnn you just get it all. What more can you ask for. A reliable taco truck that serves great food and is a fast and easy meal! I dream about their tripas tacos! There is usually a line which speaks to how good their food is.“
“Very amazing customer service, employees were very nice and polite. And I only had to wait about 5 ish minutes for my food. Overall a great experience and great food. Especially the funnel cake fries:)Kid-friendliness: Starts conversation with kids, usually silly and funny“
