“Hidden semi hole in the wall taco spot. Located in a large plaza with plenty of free self parking. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. You can see them preparing all the ingredients as well as tacos cuesadillas, and burritos. There are a few indoor tables and seating. There's also a small salsa bar.
The menu is limited and straight forward. Basically choose the type of meat you prefer.
This is not fast food. It takes time to prepare fresh food made to order.
Tried the shrimp vampiros. It's kind of like a tostada so best to eat that first since the shell will fall apart if you eat your tacos or burritos first. It's very yummy!
Also tried the chicken taco. It was ok...nothing special about it.

Definitely get the free onion and jalapeno.

The salsa bar has your
typical tomatoes, onions, limes, etc. but it would've been nice if they had cilantro
There's also two containers with free beans so make sure to grab some.

Prices are a bit high for the tacos at $3.25. The vampiro is priced right at $4.15
Portions are a bit small but they make up for it with the free beans and salsa bar.

If you're in the area, it's worth a try. There are better Taco spots elsewhere, imo.“

The ceviche has also become a go-to part of my order. Lastly, the service is always top tier- everyone is so nice and incredibly helpful!“

“Came across this place after looking for another spot and I have to say I was NOT disappointed! I had the pastor, buche, lengua, and cabeza tacos and it was absolutely delicious! Usually when I have buche, lengua and cabeza it always tastes gamy but I don’t like to avoid trying new ones and I’m so glad I didn’t avoid it from here!! I had 7 tacos for $17! Really good for the amount you get!

“Variety wise Guisados has the most unique flavor profiles for tacos I have come by in long beach. The sampler is a great way to get your whistle wet and see which is your favorite. The tamales will give any abuela a run for her money. The customer service is great and you can taste the love and tradition of put into each bite ❤️“

“So I live in Compton, only a few blocks from the birra spot. I'll be honest, I did not like birria de chivo but I came here for Father's Day because my dad who lives in L.A. wanted to try it. Long story short I had no clue what to order. Gentleman at the window was soo helpful and patient in helping me, the señoras are cooking in the truck so we knew it was going to be good. Anyway my dad loved it, and I tried it and I really enjoyed it. “Outside dining or indoor sports bar like atmosphere. It's a nice little place near uptown Whittier. Fried Basa combined with the butter sauce was extremely delicious. Nothing beats a beer and fish n chips. Lobster taco wasnt really the type of lobster i expected, but i mainly came for the fish n chips“

Eat here if you like Mexican food. I pray it never ever changes. This places energy, environment, patrons, employees and most importantly the food are all just amazing. “I visit Long Beach California every summer and was recommended this location by a local.

Their 10 dollar family meal is amazing value. It comes with 3 tacos, beans, and rice. I got the al pastor as it was on the wheel. They were amazing! Slightly charred, seasoned perfectly, and a good portion. You make your order, they give you your food, and you garnish with whatever you like.

Obviously, it's 5 stars in my book.

“My favorite taco truck when I lived in Maywood! I Still come around to enjoy some Tacos from time to time. The pastor is delicious and the quesadilla have beans inside! You can ask them to not add beans. The asada is well cooked and not as fatty as other places. They offer grilled onions with a grilled jalapeño. Self serve sauces/habanero pickled red onion/radish. Friendly and quick service. Recommend if in the area. Gets pretty packed in the night. Parking sometimes could be hard find inside the lot they are located in and you cannot park in the lot next to it. Eat in/on your car or take home.

Also, the place is well kept & organized. The employees have worked there for a long time and they always serve you in a efficient, attentive, and efficient manner.

“Amazing food! I ordered an al pastor burrito and four asada tacos, and every bite was completely worth it. The burrito alone was massive check out my photo where it’s practically the size of a Nissan N300 rearview mirror (weird comparison but that's whats in the photo) Flavor-wise, everything was spot on: bold, authentic, and satisfying.

What really made the experience, though, was the atmosphere and the people. Everyone was so kind and respectful. The cook had me add my own salsa and onions outside before handing it back to him to wrap up, which made it feel even more personal. The cashier was just as great she even had samples ready of the drinks before deciding which one to buy.

They accept Zelle, which is super convenient, and the outdoor setup really captures that authentic LA street food vibe. This place is the real deal.“
