“I was feeling so fatigued and bad tonight and didn’t wanna cook. So I go on DoorDash and I was in the mood for some Mexican food, but I was craving some birria, carñitas, and carne asada tacos. Something difficult to find an accommodating store for. But fuego cravings was able to complete my cravings. I got the 3 taco plate with rice and beans and by the grace of God this food brought me back to life. The tacos were delicious and fresh, rice super fluffy, and beans just right. “For our late lunch on the way to Whitewater and Idyllwild, we decided to try Mexican food since my husband saw it had good reviews, so why not! The salsa for the nachos was a bit watery, but still tasty (I ate it anyway, haha). The portions were big! I had two tacos, one shrimp and one fish, while my husband had three tacos. The food was worth it: big and tasty. The staff were okay; they were busy, but at least three different people still checked in on us to ask how we were doing and what we needed, which was nice.“

“We stopped by after work today and I have to say the food was awesome, the employees were friendly and really wanted to have our feedback on the food, even if there was something we felt was wrong with it. We assured the waiter the food was top notch and I have to say for a hole in the wall place they present your food like a five star restaurant, the only difference is you get a lot of food here, not so much at a swanky five star place. We will definitely be coming back. Prices were fair, food was fantastic and generous, employees were friendly and attentive the ambiance was quaint.“

“Mr. Taco is easily one of the best spots in Beaumont for fresh, delicious Mexican food. Every time I stop by, the food is consistently amazing — flavorful, hot, and made with care. Their tacos are packed with meat (the el pastor is great), the salsas are bold, and everything tastes like real, authentic cooking. You can tell they put pride into every plate.

The service is just as good as the food. When we went there was 30 minute wait because it was very busy. However, the staff is friendly, fast, and always makes you feel welcome. Even when they’re busy, they keep things moving and never compromise on quality. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and perfect whether you’re grabbing takeout or sitting down for a quick meal.

My favorites are the carne asada tacos and the burritos — big portions, great seasoning, and super satisfying. If you're in Beaumont and craving Mexican food, Mr. Taco should be your first stop. Highly recommended!“

“husband ordered the all meat (pollo/chicken) with no onions and added cheese. Said it was amazing and the chicken was perfectly grilled. I however did not favor my meal. I ordered the meat (half pastor/half lingua) nachos. I think I expected either homemade nacho cheese sauce or cheese blend on chips then put under broiler to melt. what I got was canned nacho cheese sauce that had been thinned down with water as it was rather soupy. The chips sadly turned to mush due to the watery cheese sauce and the easily half cup of red sauce that was poured over the top. Sadly I cannot tell you if the meats were good because they were drowning in red sauce. For 14.00 I expected better quality. we will go back, I will order 2 tacos no sauce next time.“

“Food is ok. I would say there has been a major shift in taste since the reopening. The portions are more than decent but the actual food seems to lack flavor. It might be a new meat vendor or cook but the food just isnt as flavorful as before.
They have definitely improved their service as the waitresses are available and will usually get you what you requested pretty quick.

I'll breakdown exactly why I gave this place a 3 on food.

The meats such as Steak, beef and the chicken all seem to just have no flavor.
It's so weird because you get a meal that looks amazing but as soon as you taste the main element of why you bought it there's nothing there.
I've ran into this in other locations and its usually the source of where they bought the meat and in rare occasions its the recipe.
Also their chicken seems soft but not a positive way. This is a weird one to explain. The chicken seems to feel like as if it was boiled in order to make it more tender and easily cut but to the point it feels mushy in your mouth but in a way you didn't want to.“

“This is the best place in Yucaipa! Have been a frequent customer since 2020. Food is always fresh and delicious, and the service is great! They are always packed and still manage to get everything out in a timely manner and their restaurant is always clean. My family and I don’t eat out much but when we do, it’s usually this place.“

“Casa Cruz restaurant is authentic Mexican food, so they have fish tacos, a lot of seafood items and spicy items. If you're going east on Ramsey once you see the big sign on the left you'll turn left on that first little street because parking is behind the building. The door is on the side of the building close to the street facing westbound. So if you come off the East freeway in get off on 22nd Street you would go left off the freeway come to Ramsey and go left and when you see the big sign that says Casa Cruz you'll go past the restaurant and turn onto that little side street. You could actually Order ahead and then go pick up your order and take it home. The other option is of course sitting in the restaurant they have a pretty decent sized dining room and they also have a bar. Since I do not do spicy food or seafood, I got the steak quesadilla with white cheese. It comes with a scoop of sour cream and a scoop of guacamole. My mother-in-law got their enchilada meal. Choice of enchilada, beans and rice. It was very good. The staff is also very friendly.“

Salsa bar spotless. Encouraged me to enjoy the salsa. Drink station spotless. Table tops clean, seats and floor clean. When order was called by a young male team member he waited to see if everything was acceptable. Looked me in the eye and said, "Please enjoy the rest of your day"! Such a pleasent experience. “Local traditional restaurant, great margaritas, decent vibe, not crowded, not fancy, great service! We ordered carnitas burritos, they were large, with homemade tortillas, buuuttt… they were very greasy. I had a few bites, then had to toss it. “A perfect 10! I have lived in Yucaipa for over 9 years and was just recently put on this place by my parents. They said it’s an absolute must try, that the food is delicious, big portions for great prices and amazing service. We decided to give it a try and I must say the only thing I regret is not going all these years! We are definitely making up for lost time. Visiting 1-2 times a week now! Everything on the menu is so good! When I say the portions are LARGE, hubby and I usually share their dinner plate's. Daughter loves the smoothies, I always ask for the chips and salsa while dining in. Husband loves the desserts. All day breakfast. They have a wide range of food from American to authentic Mexican food. They have a Happy Hour menu everyday with even better prices! There is something definitely on the menu for everybody and without breaking the bank! On top of all these wonderful things the service is EVEN BETTER! Very rare when you can find ALL these amazing things in ONE place! All the ladies are super sweet, even the cooks will say hello! Valeria is such a sweetheart, such a hard worker! “The chicken was excellent as always. I was disappointed; however, about the side salad that I ordered. When I got home and opened the container, the salad was old (brown) and wilted. Obviously, it was at least one to two days old. Please do not serve old salad to your customers. I paid $30 for a mini meal and expected to have all my sides fresh.“

I took several bites and first duct get any meat, then got maybe 1 piece of meat. They just shove it full of fillers. For the price, the meat should be half the taco then the extra stuff you want in it“

“I had the best customer service experience here out of all the Taco Bell’s I’ve ever been to. We came in just before noon on a Friday and were greeted once we got to the kiosk. The same worker let us know he would be happy to help us if we had any questions; he finished the rest of our order and served us with a smile, making sure we knew he had put hot sauce and napkins in the bag for us. I wasn’t able to get his name but he was tall and had a mustache; his customer service was top notch! 😄 Finally, when we were on our way out the door he said to us, “Have a nice day and thanks for coming in!” Oh! And the Crunchwrap we ordered was made well and the drinks were mixed right. ☺️ The store front and bathrooms were also clean and well kept.“
