“Sitting outdoors is not quite my vibe even with the misters but I absolutely love their pizza, calzones and breadsticks. The only time I was disappointed was when I missed my drumsticks which they corrected at a later date. ? I just recently tried their hamburger pizza and it was absolutely delicious!“
“Expect a bar in the daytime and a little better food than typical bar food. Throw in some George Jones playing from a juke box in the background… kids playing around on the dance floor. You’ll see winners, and losers, chain smokers and boozers. They have yuppies and bikers, even thirsty hitchhikers. I saw cowboys and truckers, brokenhearted, fools and suckers. “I'm happily surprised about this gem of a restaurant. I spent most of chico passing this place when going to other restaurants but finally decided to go to this place check it out and honestly, pretty cool place. It felt uninviting at first seeing through the window is a pool table looks like a club or something lol but nah its chill I ordered a pizza called chicago's favorite, why? Because I noticed they had a deep dish option and I thought what better pizza to deep dish-afy than a chicago styled pizza? Overall, a really good pizza, savory, a pleasant aroma. A complaint tho, I was expecting a deep dish to be filled to the brim but it was just a medium pizza with the crusts pointing up. Also I wish the crust was more chewy Layout: I went in the morning and first thing you see is the giant pool table, hang out with friends to play pool, they got the sticks and balls on the wall Second thing I noticed, a tv playing a cartoon, throughout the morning, I realize they just play whatever, first a cartoon then a live action show Extra note: I couldnt finish the pizza so I brough it home and throughout the day, the aroma of the pizza wouldnt stop and I think that experience also inflated my view of this pizza, probably I asked for water, they didnt seem to have water cup and water dispenser so they gave me a bottled water and charged me, I asked it they had a water cup and they talked to each other for a bit, uncharged me and then left... so I took the bottled water for free and paid for pizza sounds like a good deal. Hee hee You can make any pizza flavor a deep dish, it just has to be medium or large size When the pizza came out, they offered ranch so I said sure, also offered parmesan, pepper flakes and a paper plate so yes kids, throughout the morning, I think the kids are related to the owners of the restaurant so maybe they're here often, playing with their marbles, you can hear the marbles being played with, I didnt mind As I looked up to the menu screen, the lady told me I could just grab a physical one, that was a lot better, I took pics of every page for yelp Also, what a beautiful menu, you can see it in the pics but I really like how attractive it is and how easy to navigate it is despite being creative with it's design Idk why there's 2 posts of the same velly pizza on yelp. “Been living in chico for 6 years and always saw this place and was curious about it. Decided to give it a try and this shiz SMACKS. Get the mexican pizza, its pepperoni, pickled jalapenos and carrots and its INSANE. It is a little sus and you cant go inside. You have to call it in, and then call when you get there and the owner brings it out to your car. The windows are basically boarded up which is odd, but i have decided it doesn't matter because the pizza is that good.“
“Highly highly recommend the Tandoori pizza. This is seriously the best pizza in Chico. I've had their buffalo wings, lemon pepper wings, garlic bread, and most of their pizzas and it has always exceeded expectations. Don't even get me started on the ranch :)“

Your staff and your food made us feel so special and wonderful and celebratory last night.. Sarah went out of her way to acknowledge what that baby had been through.. “Woodstock's feels like the quintessential neighborhood pizza parlor. We dined here this past weekend for lunch and both ordered the meal deal: salad, slice, & soda. Prices have sure gone up in recent years! We carried the slices directly from the counter to our table... no waiting. They were large, probably 1/6 of a large pie... the crust was pillowy soft, and even though I prefer it a bit thiner & crispier, it was tasty nonetheless. Salads arrived to our table after we were nearly done with our slices, which felt a little delayed considering they were lettuce + side of dressing. I prefer a salad as a starter, but our slices would have been cold had we waited. Overall, it was a pleasant lunch on the patio while we watched the bicycles flying by during the Chico Stage Race. I think my personal pizza tastes would draw me elsewhere, but I can certainly see this being a great patio for dining with friends when better weather arrives.“

I've supported this location because the owners supported me when I sold them a car, but not just for thar their pizza is way better tasting then the one downtown like same name but taste flavor profile on different planets I would go out of my way to go here well worth the money.“
“Loved the food. It was a bit dark and the music was a bit loud for a Thursday night in a mostly empty bar, but once the DJ came in it was better. I didn't get a photo of our food but it's the best fish & chips I've had in the Chico area in the 10 months I've been looking for a fish & chips place. My husband had the naked pepper wings and loved them. Will be back again to try more foods and maybe dance next time :)“

Was informed of prices for all sizes of pizza for 3 Toppings and once I chose a size I was told 15 minutes until it's ready.Arrived to a friendly host and helpful kitchen staff who quickly got our order to us.If you've never been this place has an at home environment, arcade games, and a nook full of family friendly board games!We took our pizza to go. The crust was crisp and not soggy or greasy, the ingredients used were all clearly made in home and my child said its the "best pizza ever"$33 for a 18" (large) 3 topping pizza to go and it was ready fast! “I have nothing bad to say about this place. Tens all around! It is safe to say it is the place to go to if you want filling, delicious and fast pizza, and it is at a great price for what you get. I love that you can completely customize your toppings and it’s all one price. The location is very clean and it doesn’t take too long to get your pizza. One time during my second trip to Mod’s, there was a longer wait time than usual and one of the employees gave me a voucher for a free pizza simply because of the wait, which I hadn’t even noticed myself. Overall, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the pizza is top notch! I would recommend this place to any picky eaters or simply pizza enjoyers :) I always get pineapple on my pizza and it is amazing because I can put it on only one side since a lot of people don’t approve of the pineapple life. TLDR: Mod Pizza ruless!! The only complaint I have is that it is in a sort of hidden location.“
“I highly recommend their Thai Chicken Thin Crust Pizza! Sweet and spicy with zucchini chicken onions etc. Yummy! Best thing about my visit to the Mangrove store is how accommodating the staff were because I had my dog with me. They even brought my pizza to my car when it was ready! And it was the bomb! However, if the owner reads these comments, I’d recommend updating the lighting and they should just swap the garlic bread with a half portion of pizza dough with cheese on it. The baguette ordered was so sub par, especially compared to the pizza dough.“
