“We went on a random Thursday night. A work friend had mentioned we might like this place. They were spot on. My husband and I enjoyed a couple drinks each. Then split some of their appetizers and small plates. We chose to sit at the bar, it give a better view for people watching. The Mint Julep was the best I've had since visiting New Orleans and the signature Boujee Violet was amazing, if you like lavender drinks. My husband had the Corpse Reviver No. 2 and the L'espresso Martini, both of which he gave high praise. We split the Kale Ceasar salad, mac & cheese, a Bavarian Pretzel and the Rock Shrimp Beignets. (And still took food home) Portion sizes are good, price range is a little high (but what isn't these days?) but not outrageous. Even though they were busy, the bartenders gave their full attention when assisting patrons. They are friendly, knowledgeable and well trained when it comes to proper customer service.Parking: If you've been to The Village at La Floresta, you're probably already familiar with the parking situation. While there is ample parking, there is a little walk to get to the restaurants location. But worth it.Kid-friendliness: Not really a good place to take young children. “I came to this store around 6 o'clock on a Monday evening. There were not many people in the store and I didn't have to wait. When I entered the store, I immediately felt it had a sense of age. The waiter was very enthusiastic and led me to my seat. The menu and tea were served quickly. On the menu Some say it opened in 1984. I ordered Mapo Tofu and Teppanyaki Sanxian. First of all, Mapo Tofu is amazingly delicious and tastes very authentic, with the green peppercorn flavor that I tasted in Chongqing. The three fresh iron plates are very delicious. Finally, we were treated to a sesame dessert, which was also very delicious. The food I ordered was still very memorable long after I finished eating it.“

“Drove by this place hundreds of times since I've moved to the area. Decided to finally pop in this weekend for a drink and it was a fantastic time! First off, the bar is pristine including the bathrooms. Something you don't generally get from a dive bar. In fact I hesitate to call it a dive bar. I believe the term "small bar" is more accurate. The beers were poured into frosty mugs and were icy cold. There were a few locals when we came in and ALL of them were super chill. In fact within a few minutes of chatting with them, one fellow bought a round for the whole bar. Never felt so welcomed as a new patron in a local bar. The best part by far was Randy, the bar owner. This guy was pure class and took the time to get to know us and chatted with us the entire time we were there. Just the nicest dude. Only thing I feel it was a little overcooked. The fries taquito chicken strips. Go to went for less time cooking the other pet pee. I had there was my friend's birthday party. Had a bunch of candies on the table when I went to go get some. The waiters had cleared the tables and took all the candies for themselves when I asked for some. One waiter young lady said all the waitresses took them. I was kinda shocked with that. They didn't give it to the birthday girl or ask Her what she wanted to do with them. They took it upon themselves to pocket them. As I was confronting the waiter, she came back and gave me 3 pieces of candy. I left it on the table. When I left bigger they wanted it.
