“The fish is excellent quality, which for me is essential for sashimi. My family loves the bento boxes - all food is outstanding, the service is professional, quick and friendly. We do take-away, but the dining room is clean and service is prompt. Please don't swamp my fav place ;)

“Wow this place surprised me so much, I went on my birthday it was a Thursday mid day and it was lonely. Not sure if that’s good or not but as we walked in, we were greeted and welcomed to a nice beautiful atmosphere.

Open concept, nice design. We were serviced beautifully everything was clean and squeaky clean floors.

Menu was okay to read, but we were able to order a few yummy rolls.

Wow the my favorite was the Vegas roll the combo with the crispy outer layer and the fresh fish on top with avocado with sauce oof it was delicious a must order option!
Everything was delicious and what made the difference was freshness.

I would definitely come here again or order out, but it seems a lot of people order out. Dining in was a great experience and more need to come and experience everything as well at least when they can.

Parking was a bit difficult, one level and easy wheelchair access.

“The take-out box was convenient, if not finished in restaurant. The beef and chicken were great with the provided salad dressing, rather than the teriyaki sauce. It was placed as side as suggested by the host, especially that I was a diabetic. The water was refilled as needed, which was appreciated. I also asked for a second bowl of miso, which I enjoyed. Overall, it was great to have a meal at the Bento Box in Chino.“

My family and I had the sukiyaki and tomyam broth with seafood, lamb and beef as proteins and rice. In winter, the hotpot HITS THE SPOT. Fresh meats, flavorful broth, generous cuts of fresh vegetables. Staff were all professional and prompt in ensuring diners are having a wonderful experience. This is a great social event for dining or if you're just a foodie! Totally worth checking out.“

“First time at this Yoshiharu, we use to go to Whittier but we recently moved to this city closer to our home. The food is amazing!! Super flavorful. The employees are great but there is one guy in particular who really made our food experience amazing. He greets the guest. His name is Chef Raymond (Chef Riot). Love how he runs the kitchen smoothly and how he cooks with passion. He actually asked us if we are enjoying the food & that made us feel super welcomed. Love it!! Thank You Yoshiharu. “My work moved near the area so was looking for some food spots. Came across this place. Man has food gotten expensive nowadays. Anyways it's still comparable to other places. I ordered the beef soft sofu and a salmon skin salad. I didn't eat the salad yet but I tried a piece of the salmon skin and it tasted good. As for the soft tofu its decent. I ordered medium spice but it's not spicy at all. Maybe I try spicy next time. This is a nice cozy spot. Not bad for lunch“

The place was clean and the food was delicious. I had the salt & pepper shrimp and my husband had the kung pao. I have to admit that when we walked in, I had my doubts. The place was empty and there were boxes stacked up in the dining area. Most likely bz they just got supplies but it didn't do much for the atmosphere. However, the gentleman who served us was very nice and didn't overly bug us. He would keep an eye to see if we were low on drinks but was not hovering. This is something I always appreciate. He noticed I ate all the jalapeño peppers and even let me know I could request it spicier next time. The missing half has very little to do with them or their food.
They are hidden away in a tiny spot so not too easy to find but the worth the effort. I definitely plan to return.“

A spider roll was the roll that made me become a sushi enthusiast, and for years I've searched to find an equal to that sublime roll. This did it, flavors and textures that were a perfect balance in every bite.

I stumbled upon Heemo Sushi - Chino Hills and was blown away! I ordered the Sunkist Roll—a delicious twist on a California roll with fresh salmon and tuna. Every bite was packed with flavor and perfectly balanced. The fish was incredibly fresh and the roll was beautifully plated.

The service was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. To top it off, I treated myself to a macaron ice cream for dessert, and wow—it was the perfect sweet ending!

“Great place!! Food was amazing and the food quality was great. Tasted so fresh! Bathe service (Salma) was the most noteworthy! She came by and brought what we needed before we even needed to ask. She kept our drinks filled and noticed when we needed napkins etc. very attentive and so friendly! “This place has great food don't let the bad reviews prevent you from giving it a try! I feel like the other reviews do not know how mexican sushi is done. It is very different than asian sushi, this being said all the sushis I've had from this place have been AMAZING! Their servers are nice and polite. The food is very good, specially if you have had sushi or sea food from Culiacan. In their menu it references many places from Culiacan Sinaloa, which I think was pretty clever. Also, don't miss out on their micheladas and the horchata de coco. I definitely recommend this place.“

You will notice right away as you walk in, that the atmosphere is rustic but inviting. The service was warm prompt and friendly and the food was very good, the sushi was very battery and succulent. We shared a bento box and a rainbow roll for our lunch, it was so good. Not only were we very happy with the quality but there was plenty of food to fill both of us up.
