“El Pollo Loco, H Street never seem to fail me on having my favorite! Chicken meals! The crew are very nice and always courteous with their customer, i myself experienced those , treatment that you we’re one of their family that they’re going take care of you’ for the rest of your dine in’ and i was surprise with the new renovations ‘ it was so aesthetic! Very instragrammable! Even before! But now! Way better! Kudos! El Pollo Loco !

“lately always been getting the 12 Piece Original Recipe with sides. order via KFC app and pickup via drive-thru. about $36 but really like $40 with tax. would otherwise get $20 eight-piece bucket refill but always need more chicken because more people come to the house! Yum!“

“They need to be more in tune with the table turnaround. If there were 7-8 open tables, they were all dirty as well. Eventhough the place gets busy at times, they should be able to send someone out and pick tables up and wipe them accordingly. C'mon, let's do 100% better on this so 5 stars could be deserved!
A plus that location closed at 02:00, an option to the late-late outers in San Diego.

“Visiting family from the East Coast and my daughter took me here today. I was stationed in Daegu South Korea for 2 years while in the Army. we used to get bb.q chicken almost every weekend. The kids loved it and so did I. This was my first time having it in 8 years and it immediately brought me back to being in Daegu. The food was amazing and brought us right back to being there. I highly recommend you check them out, you won't regret it!“

“The aroma sorta calls you in. It was a very welcoming atmosphere especially with the music playing. I knew it was in for some authentic Korean fried chicken. The menu displayed a host different flavors and heat levels. I chose the original spicy and their wings of fire, a sweet and spicy Asian BBQ. Everything met my expectations ???“

“This place is awesome! It feels like a franchise but this is their only location. I got the #1 and it was a Fantastic Chicken Sandwich. I got mine hot and the heat and spice level were perfect. The sauce (Chick Sauce) was tangy and a little spicy. The wall art is super cute and the over all chicken decor was a nice touch. I will definitely eat here again!“

“Seating inside is limited. Looked like a worker was sitting at one of the front tables and the tables in the back with the iconic sign were being used for restocking. The food is delicious. Tomato soup is tasty but not hot enough. Triple grilled cheese is fantastic and the fries are super crunchy!“

“I love crack shack. I was born n raised in San Diego but moved to Memphis where I learned what good fried chicken is. This is the fried chicken spot in Southern California. Fire nugs+fries+pickles you can not go wrong. The bar tender is really awesome and the food is seasoned perfectly. Really good desserts as well.“

“We love this place! It’s a little bit on the pricey side, but the sandwiches are really good size for sliders and the fries are really good, too! You can get varying degrees of spice level and the sauces are on point! Thank you very much!“

“As a foreigner trying to find the best fried chicken in San Diego, main chik is my #1 spot. I’ve tried many places but their chicken is deliciously juicy, fresh, coleslaw is amazing, Mac cheese is probably not the best or rather 5/10. I will always get my fried chicken here from now on!“

“I'm not sure why others had not the best experience trying their sandwiches, but we just tried their Original Bird - Fried Chicken Sandwich, and it was SO good. The photo I took will not do it justice! I should have opened it up to show everything.To me, all the textures and flavors went so well. The chicken was crispy on the outside, but so tender and juicy on the inside. The sauce was well balanced, and the pickle always great. The bun was nice and soft.Dare I say the best chicken sandwich for me is here! The fact that you can pre-order ahead of time, and drive on over and enjoy it outside in the San Diego Sun :)“

“My husband who has celiac disease loved it!! The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. This is the best fried chicken we’ve had since my husband was diagnosed. Unfortunately the sauces aren’t gf so we didn’t try those. The restaurant was very clean and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back!“
