“My boyfriend and I now frequent Sushi Star since discovering the place a couple of months ago! It’s always very clean. A very pleasant atmosphere. Our waitress has always been Yi. She is very pleasant and thorough. Now, then there is the master sushi chef, Eric! IOHO we think he makes the best sushi we have ever had hands down! Our BIGGEST RECOMMENDATION IS THE BAKED SCALLOPS! “This place is a true gem! My husband and I have ate here twice now and we have NOT been disappointed. Our first time there he ordered a burger of some sort and I got the grilled chicken sandwhich in a lettuce wrap. Both were absolutely delicious. Our second time around he got the pesto crepe with fries, and I got the Mediterranean crepe with salad. We both agreed that my crepe was better, despite our love of pesto, but both were good. The fries and salad hit the spot as well, mostly because their ranch dressing is fantastic. Prices were definitely reasonable. I look forward to trying other things on the menu. Whether you want savory or sweet there's something for everyone!“

“One bite and I was in heaven! Best chicken tibs I have ever had. The cabbage & carrots plus kik alicha were all fresh, healthy and scrumptious. I really think the injera was more tangy than others I have had, and I absolutely loved it. It really compliments the dishes. I ordered the Ethiopian coffee, which they brew with spices. I tasted cinnamon--and possibly cardamom and/or cloves? Almost like a chai spiced coffee--a delicate and lovely flavor. I can't wait to have another meal there.“

“We have searched so many Indian restaurants. This is by far the best tasting food outside of India. Anjoo is still talking about her Chole bhatura. Everything is made from the love of taste. Five out of five stars. I dare anyone after tasting the food to say anywhere outside of India is better prepared.“

“All I can say is WOW! They make one of the best hamburgers I have eaten in a long time. The French fries are amazing too. Great portions and a real old fashion menue. When you compare this restaurant for it quality and prices..all these chain places are left way behind. Skeptical? Just try them..go ahead try them..then look at your bill. The only thing that is not rated 5 stars is that there isn't enough seating in front.“

“The papaya salad is to die for and the customer service has been great both times I have gone from the asian make owner! My guy friend and I have gone once for dining in and the second time when my guy friend and I got takeout. I can’t stop raving about the papaya salad! It’s a must try and I dream about it in my sleep it’s so good with the noodles and so spicy! Lol. I’m in love and drooling... o baby!!! Lol come here and eat, the other dishes are mediocre and the hot pot we tried the first time wa so so due to the broths we weren’t a fan of and the meat and seafood weren’t of good quality and had gone bad when we had gotten to them in the fridge. Just stick with the papaya salad and noodles and you will be good to go! Eat here and good eating! Cheers!“

“Valencia's feels like one of those secret spots that only the locals know about. This was my second or third visit, and the food is on point every single time. They have a little Bakery you can grab things to take home on your way out, as well.
On this visit we had the nachos with al pastor pork omg

“It's the type of restaurant that you order your food, pay and then the staff bring the food to your table. Since we were a larger party (6) we took longer for everyone to order. The staff was very polite, helpful and patient while answering all of our questions. They also were very accommodating with our add-ons or deleting items in our orders. The food came out quickly, was fresh, attractively plated and so delicious that we ended up ordering additional food to go! If we're back in Citrus Heights, I definitely would like to eat here again!“

“Very good sushi & such. We've been delighted on both visits. We ordered the Red Bull roll, mushroom bomb, & tempura udon noodle bowl. The noodle bowl is huge and had LOTS of veggies. Probably won't order that again, but there's plenty of things we haven't tried yet. We will be going back.“

“Angry is great if you want hot. X-Hot has heat with flavor. I get one of each every time I go. All the other flavors else could be served to children. I sign their little waiver each time but it definitely isn’t hot enough to write home about. Chickens shouldn’t eat Chicken. Great food and Staff is quite friendly.“

“Drove by this place for years and finally tried it out. Got a lunch special and the price was very good for soup, egg roll, chow mein, shrimp, tea.
Food was great. Portions big--typical of Chinese food. Value can't get any better than $14 for everything I listed above.“

“The menu has an amazing description of their pork. They were not exaggerating. The pork alone is worth the trip. Some of the best I've ever had. The ramen was good too with an option for extra noodles! Lots of variety on the menu with friendly, helpful staff.“

“I have been here several times by myself, today was the first time that I took one of my Asian friends the true test. I am glad to say that I was correct this place is above average in food quality and just below perfect in customer service. I definitely would recommend Pho Viet. They were definitely observing social distance procedures, and it didn't effect the great customer service.“

“Service was great, the food looked great, but was a little overdone. However, there was a massive party if like 30 in the bar that was sat just before us so I totally understand. Tami was our server, and did a great job with our meal. I did not catch his name, but the host at the front was also very personable. We overall enjoyed our night, and will def be back.“

“For a little hole in the wall place the Food was good, very friendly staff. I went early in the morning around 7am I think and not many people. The only thing I didn't like was that you can't order lunch in the morning I guess I got used to that at other places. I worked overnight and would get off around 7am and wanted lunch or dinner not breakfast. And I really wanted to try their curry dishes and they didn't have a Curry option for breakfast. But the breakfast was good,will definitely try it again.“

“I grew up on Ivars and Skippers up in Washington state and (chippy) fish and chip shops in Scotland. So you know I love fish and chips.
This location is always on point.
The fish at this Tugboat is really tasty and the oysters are not over cooked.

“Passed by here earlier this afternoon with a family friend before bringing him home so He could go to work at 1:00PM. This is My first time going to this Vietnamese restaurant in Citrus Heights. I've seen this place before when I was riding Bus Route #1 going from Sunrise Mall Transit Center to Watt/I-80 Light Rail Station. I ordered a #1 Noodle Soup, Large Bowl and Root Beer with light ice. The other person ordered a #1 Noodle Soup, Small Bowl and Heineken Beer.“

“This is a nice place for fast food type Mexican food. It is not a place where someone takes your order from the table. Instead, you order your food and they bring it to you. That was ok, but once you place your order, that's the last contact you will have with anyone working there. The food is decent. Slightly overpriced. Margaritas are tiny. Just wanted to experience something different, it was OK at best. Nice ambiance, airy setting. Nothing bad to say, but not a restaurant with waiters or waitresses taking your orders.“

“The owners/employees who work at this location are so nice! They are very friendly and always do a great job with my order. They are fast when making the pizzas too, they are always finished by the time I come to pick them up which can't be said about many other locations. I love that Papa Murphy's offers dairy free cheese as well. I only hope that some day they add some vegan meat options!
Vegetarian options: The original and thin crust pizza is vegan if you get dairy-free cheese and no meat. Many toppings are vegan, too.

“Came when they opened at 5pm and the server Lady was super nice and friendly! Sadly didn't get her name. The sushi was fire and fish was great for the price! Didn't even have to ask for extra wasabi and we got the perfect extra amount (I love wasabi). If you don't like wasabi you should ask to have none or less so none goes to waste. Will definitely be back and bringing more people!“
